Based in Summerville, SC, The Uprooted florist is an Air-force-veteran owned and operated business that specializes in the creation of wedding-focused floral arrangements. Proud business owner, Ashley Jarvis is a vibrant soul whose absolutely head over heels about love and all things matrimonial. She has an innate creative ability which she pairs excellently with a keen eye for detail to make distinct arrangements that accurately reflect her clients.
When Ashley decided to close her proud chapter as an Air-Force electrician she chose to follow her passion as a floral designer. After her work made a number of cameo appearances at her wedding as well as her friend, she was encouraged to go full-time. In 2019, she did just that, opening The Uprooted florist.
The Uprooted florist takes many factors into consideration when planning out the intricate floral designs for your special occasion. The main focal points are your budget and your wedding’s color palette. From here, Ashley uses her imagination to take your dreamy vision and bring it to life with vibrant blooms and brilliant conceptual designs.

nto something tangible. I was a guest at a wedding in September 2018 & Ashley worked closely with the couple to create floral arrangements that were absolutely STUNNING. The beautiful reds & white through each arrangement were so romantic & perfect for the couple getting married.
I was also a bridesmaid for a dear friend in August 2019 & Ashley was behind the brides vision 100%! Her genuine patience & attention to detail showed when the big moment came. The elegance & classic beauty of her work was extraordinarily beautiful. Every arrangement from the bouquets to the table arrangements were similar but different in their own unique way which not only created the couples vision but of Ashley’s creativity & her ingenuity to think outside the box.
I’m certain her future clients (including myself) will be just as thrilled to work with her as I’ve seen & experienced first hand. Her genuine connection with her clients shines through her work & her dedication to bringing her clients vision to life deserves to be shared to everyone. I will say I’m also probably one of the worst kinds of bride...the “I don’t know what I want kind”. Even though we postponed, I did get to see her work. It was more than I ever could have imagined. I gave her little to work with but she pulled it together perfectly!
