Colson is amazing! He was by far one of the best decisions we made as far as vendors go for our wedding! Everything he offers is so fun and personable. He helped us come up with...
a fun engagement session that seemed more like we were hanging out with a friend than taking what could have been awkward engagement photos. Before the wedding he had us over for dinner to go over the wedding timeline and just hang out --- ensuring that we were comfortable on our wedding day. On the actual wedding day everything was perfect! He was fun to be around (hellloooo, traveling boombox) made all of our bridal party relaxed and just created an extremely fun atmosphere before our wedding. Best part? We woke up early the day after our wedding to a sneak peak of about 30-40 photos from Colson that he had edited! We were sent off on our honeymoon being able to see some of his amazing work. And that it was --- AMAZING! We completed our "photography experience" by going back to his house to see the slideshow of all our wedding pictures --- not even a month after our wedding. He's so timely, so much fun, creative, listens to your wishes and is just plain awesome. Yeahhhh, Colson!!!
Colson is an absolute pleasure to work with, in addition to being a truly talented and outstanding photographer. He was an absolute blast at our wedding, whilst being extremely pr...
ofessional and organized at the same time. Would HIGHLY recommend him to anyone!
Colson is absolutely amazing and was always available to talk and had great follow up skills. He knew exactly what we were looking for and followed through. We have not received ...
the photos yet, but it has only been two weeks. The sneak peak pictures he posted for us to look at are PERFECT! Can't go wrong with Colson.
Colson possesses so many wonderful traits & talents; it’s hard to decide where to start! I am not knowledgeable enough to critique his equipment or processing but I am fully able ...
to offer a visceral opinion. Perhaps my favorite aspect of working with Colson is his friendly, laid-back approach to poses and settings. He captured many beautiful shots without us ever knowing he was there. In addition, Colson has a remarkable knack for capturing expressions and emotions so perfectly that looking at the photos takes me right back to that day and I’m living it all over again! To me, this is critical in selecting the right photographer. After reviewing Colson’s gallery we knew that we’d found the best in Colson.
We hired Colson one year before our wedding and immediately scheduled our engagement photo session. We selected Villa Montalvo for that location. It included a park, formal gardens, nature preserve and concert venue. This gave us many options for backgrounds and Colson made the most of all of them.
We brought him to Las Vegas with us to shoot our wedding preparations and reception. Unfortunately the venue we chose supplied their own photographer so our actual ceremony shots were not shot by Colson. However, he documented perfectly our preparations, transitions and celebrations. Colson accompanied me to my makeup and hair session and captured some wonderful memories! At his suggestion, we chose to have our formal portraits taken before the ceremony. We did this in our gorgeous suite and included my children in this experience. The result was beautiful wedding and family portraits!
Colson was with me right before the ceremony, in the bride’s room, and not only documented the moments but chatted with me to keep me calm. What a treasure!
Colson did an excellent job of capturing all our significant moments & memories during the reception! Many of our guests shared with us how comfortable he made them feel while shooting them and the final results showed just that! We finished up the night with more portraits in front of the 70,000 gallon aquarium located in the Chart House Restaurant.
It was a beautiful, magical and memorable day! Thank you Colson for capturing the precious moments that we will treasure forever!
