Hi! My name is Lia Greiner and my son got married at the Hawthorne House 3 weeks ago! LaTasha was there to help us out and she was amazing! She was upbeat, friendly, and offering assistance at every turn! She took time to introduce herself to the parents and the bridal party and went above and beyond making sure all our needs were met including needs we didn’t even know we had!I felt like she made sure that every detail was attended to! Latasha was absolutely amazing! She made sure all my wedding decor dreams came together, made sure my vendor team had all the information, kept us on schedule and went way over beyond with end of night clean up. Without question, the best decision I made in wedding planning was hiring LaTasha as my coordinator. My wedding would not have been the wonderful event it was without LaTasha’s guidance and help and know-how. Our detailed phone conversations made sure that we were on the same page and gave me the confidence to know that she was ON IT. She was just as happy and excited about my wedding as I was, which made talking to her a breeze. When I wasn’t sure what to do, or just needed some advice, I knew she would be honest. Especially in the home stretch, she always answered my texts about even the silliest of worries, and made me feel confident that it was going to be an amazing day. I was completely confident that as I was getting ready, taking pictures, and dealing with butterflies, I had a teammate in LaTasha who made sure everything went off without a hitch. She kept me on track, on task, and always knew what I wanted or needed before I had even thought of it. One of the nicest surprises? Seeing at the end of the night that my phone was full of pictures and videos she had taken. It was such a simple gesture that meant so much!

Latasha is truly the best of the best. She is a entire management team all by herself, you will see her in three places at once. I was the Mother of the Bride, from start to finish Latasha took care of my Daughter and the entire wedding party and she does it with detail, order and efficiency. Latasha is one of the most hard working individuals I have ever met and hiring her was the best spent money.

We worked with LaTasha, she was the best wedding coordinator I could imagine. My sister planned her wedding from New Jersey and was married in Kansas City, and she planned for a lot of details. Despite only being hired for her coordinating services (and not her planning services) LaTasha didn’t miss a beat. Everything went smoother than I could have imagined. She centered my sister, she focused us (the bridal party), and she anticipated issues before they were issues. LaTasha has the perfect personality for this job: she is caring, compassionate, ORGANIZED, and direct. Oh, she also comes equipped with a utility belt, a utility sock, and will jump on problems like pre-serum Steve Rogers in Captain America: The First Avenger.

LaTasha was great!! She is really good at her job and very easy to work with. Being in the wedding party was very easy with her telling us exactly what to do and where to be. She was direct, kind, funny, and you could tell she really cared about the Bride and Groom and our experience overall as a wedding party

We haven't even had our wedding yet and I am so overwhelmed by LaTasha! My husband convinced me to hire a wedding planner for our daughter's wedding. I really couldn't see any reason to since we already had vendors and a venue. I interviewed several wedding planners that were recommended but I really did not think they could offer me enough to justify an additional expense. My last interview was LaTasha and I was totally blown away! My daughter is out of town doing her clinical rotations so she had me do quite a bit. When it came time for me to sign the contract, LaTasha made it very clear that even tho I was signing and paying, our daughter was the one calling the shots. Even tho I just hired for the day of the wedding, LaTasha has been along side, cheering us on, supporting us, answering questions. Her organizational skills are OVER THE TOP! (And this is coming from a manager of 35 years). There is no way I can begin to convey her passion, her sensitivity. I know without a shadow of a doubt that this mother of the bride will be taken care of along with my daughter. I will be able to relax and enjoy the precious moments because LaTasha will be running the show!

LaTasha was amazing. she was always several steps ahead and was able to coordinate many details to avoid disaster. My dad was one of my groomsmen and somehow the suit shop didn't give him a vest, he was the only one without a vest. LaTasha somehow magically got a vest in time for the wedding. LaTasha never stops, she works so hard to make the day go well and she listens to her clients. LaTasha was everywhere, it felt like she was able to be in 3 places at once. You can't go wrong with hiring her. She is very personable and really cares about your day. I was skeptical in the beginning when my wife wanted to hire a day of coordinator, but I am glad we did because if we didn't we would have been stressed out and running around chasing our tails. You'll be glad to have to opportunity to work with LaTasha, her work ethic alone is unmatched.

A true Unicorn!! LaTasha thought of every single detail and did not skip a beat. She made my wedding day so flawless. Not only was she helpful to me (The Bride) but to our parents and whole wedding party. Even our guests complimented how on top of things she was. She is the sole reason I even tasted our wedding cake or ate any of my dinner. She also refilled my drink all night and made sure I always had water. She is hand down worth every single penny spent, and then some.

LaTasha was the backbone of my mother's wedding!! My sister and I were not able to help with much outside of the wedding weekend, but LaTasha was there for our mother making sure everything was in place the way she wanted it with minimal stress. She is incredibly organized and prepared for anything. We had a smaller wedding with a lot of the setup being done by family, and the take-down was really just LaTasha, my sister, and I. LaTasha knew exactly where everything needed to be, where things could be stored/out of the way, and how to pack it up in the end without needing to question my mom on her special day. LaTasha is awesome and clearly works hard to make things run smoothly! Incredibly deserving of her 5 star rating!!

LaTasha was my mom's wedding coordinator for her wedding - I was the matron of honor. LaTasha was seriously AMAZING!! She was incredibly organized, advocated for my mom to make sure all her needs and preferences were met, coordinated things with vendors. She made sure my mom did not have to lift a FINGER on her wedding day! She was with us for the rehearsal on Saturday directing to make sure everyone knew what was happening and from early morning on the wedding day until the last light was out at the venue in the evening. LaTasha helped with and ran everything from set-up to tear down, she kept detailed lists of every single thing we had for decor and who it belonged to and where it needed to end up. She is also one of the nicest people EVER while also being a hard-ass and making sure stuff gets DONE - coordinating with other vendors and also bridal party all while letting the bride enjoy her day (which is, seriously, exactly what you need in a wedding coordinator) I do not know how we would have gotten through the rehearsal and wedding day without her, not to mention all the times she talked my mom down about stressors and issues leading up to her wedding! LaTasha is an absolutely phenomenal wedding coordinator and absolutely everybody should hire her!! You don't even know it, but you need her running your special day!

LaTasha is AMAZING! She literally saved my wedding dress! Someone stepped on it and she had to sew it back together! She was on top of everything, knew every detail, and made sure that everything happened as planned! She made sure we were on time! Made sure all the vendors were on the same page with everything! Incredible. LaTasha was exactly who I needed during wedding planning and getting myself, and everything else organized for our August wedding. She took the stress of contacting vendors and other duties off me so I could focus on my day. LaTasha ran the entire show and I don't think I could have had a successfully smooth wedding without her. I'm not kidding when I say, I don't think there's anything she can't do. The day of our wedding I went to the farmers market to purchase flowers for our wedding, while I was getting ready, LaTasha in the midst of setting everything up and organizing everyone, put together my bouquet and all my bridesmaids' bouquets. They were so beautiful! Throughout our day, she brought my husband and I water (and our photographer) to make sure we were hydrated. She made sure we had everything we needed ALWAYS, and she even took my phone and recorded my MOH/ BM speeches and snapped some photos that I will cherish forever. COVID stressed me out and LaTasha took all that stress away in everything she did. I cannot recommend her enough. On top of her being the bad*** she is, she is the sweetest, most caring person I had the pleasure of working with for our wedding. Thank you so much for everything you did for us LaTasha. You are THE best in the entire business and KC area.

LaTasha is a magician. From the phone calls to make sure I had everything ready, right down to her sock being filled of anything you could possibly need the day of. She made the day perfect. I was stressing hard the week before and there was no reason to, because I had LaTasha. She made sure everything was running smoothly and took all of the pressure and stress off of me. I could not have imagined my day going better without her.

When I was first engaged, I started asking other married couples what advice they had for my wedding. I’ve had several people say they wish they hired a day of coordinator. That was probably the best advice I was given! LaTasha was on top of it ALL! I’ve been to weddings where it’s been really hectic without a coordinator. I’ve also been to some that even had an event coordinator, but when an issue popped up with the DJ, the groom had to handle it. The venue coordinator only dealt with venue specific problems – everything else was the bridal party’s problem. Our wedding was very DIY, and it wouldn’t have gone as smooth as it did if LaTasha hadn’t been there. Wedding brain is so real – my husband and I would forget about the most random things. But LaTasha was like a super hero with a utility belt for whatever issues arose. I don’t think there were any issues, and if there were we didn’t know! Our venue required a flip, and with the assistance of the caterers, she set up the room so beautifully. I dreamed about my wedding day for so long, but coming down and seeing how beautifully the reception was set up, I was just amazed! I couldn’t believe I was at my own wedding because everything looked so great and fancy. She was on top of every vendor, from when I panicked super early in the morning because the make-up artists hadn’t arrived, to the end with organizing our send off and getting our limo ready for us. She even snuck off for a bit to our hotel room and decorated it for our first night. My wedding party has been raving about LaTasha, even after the wedding was over. They noticed how on top of everything she was and how they didn’t have to lift a finger. My mom thought she was going to be so stressed with MOB duties, but she didn’t have much to do except be my mom and enjoy the evening, thanks to LaTasha! LaTasha was probably our best investment, and very affordable for what she did. She’s a day of coordinator, but she helped us with so many things before the wedding day. She recommended great vendors, helped us figure out the day of schedule, planning and so much more. Getting LaTasha to help with our wedding was second best decision of the day (next to saying I Do to my groom). She is my top vendor recommendation, for without her, nothing would have gone as planned. Hire her NOW!

Amazing. That’s just one of the many words that describes LaTasha! Wedding planning was hard for me. I legit hated every minute of it. She made it WAY less stressful. She was there whenever I needed her and wasn’t ever afraid to tell me the truth. She extremely honest and has a go getter attitude. I had so many wedding guests and the wedding party tell me how much they loved her. I can honestly say my day wouldn’t have been the same without her. She kept me level headed and on track even though I’m an insane control freak and we even shared an amazing dance. I think if anything you should hired a coordinator! It was the biggest relief! You don’t regret it!

LaTasha was the best we could have asked for. It was a worry-free day for sure! She handed my husband and I drinks the whole night so we never left the dance floor. She scooped up my dinner for me so I wouldn't get anything on my dress. It was the little details she did throughout the day and evening that were just amazing and we literally couldn't have done this without her. She's an 11/10 and highly recommend her for every wedding!

My daughter found LaTasha in KC to assist with the wedding. We live in Minnesota and were attempting to arrange from afar. It was not fun. After my daughter hired LaTasha it was FABULOUS. I had no anxiety. LaTasha was available to suggest and manage other vendors. She was great the day of event. She managed the rehearsal, the wedding day and all of the small details you'd never think of. You need "that person" who will herd the cats and make sure everyone knows what to do and what time it's happening. LaTasha is beyond value. She stayed at the venue until all the details were complete. We had a few details we forgot and LaTasha had anticipated all of it - we were set. The morning after, I visited my daughter & husband at the hotel. They were a bit rugged (ok maybe hung over) but when we went through the bags LaTasha left them -- there was food and cake etc. The Groom said "OMG LaTasha just saved the day, I'm so hungry, and we have cake - I love her". She did it all. You will be pleased. I'd fly her to MN for a wedding if I have one here. USE HER- she covers all details!!

LaTasha did an amazing job during our wedding, we would have been lost without her. I met her for the first time at the rehearsal, but I know that my wife had been coordinating with her for months. Right away her value evident. She led the rehearsal, gave us plenty of pointers on how to walk, work with the officiant, etc. She was very enthusiastic, energetic and genuinely cared about making the wedding perfect. She prepped us well before the wedding and had a nifty trick to keeping pocket squares positioned perfectly in our pockets. During the wedding we had a few issues with the bar service, but LaTasha was able to correct the mistake and make everything work for us. Even after the wedding we were finding surprises that she left (food waiting for us in the hotel frig, tons of photos/videos on my wife's phone). I would definitely recommend LaTasha for any wedding!

I cannot tell you all how wonderful LaTasha is! She was beyond anything I could have expected and knew more about weddings than I could ever hope to know! During our initial phone call, I could tell how experienced she was, but she was also easy to talk to. LaTasha was very responsive to any and all emails, even months before the wedding (I hired her as a day of coordinator, not a full wedding planner). Even though it was months before hand, she was able to give me suggestions about hotel blocks and shuttle services. Our next phone call was very long, but went through every wedding detail possible: things I never would have thought of, such as if my bridesmaids were allergic to any of the flowers in the bouquets! She also sent me Google sheets to complete, to make sure she had recorded everything we discussed, and so I could enter information I didn't know yet at my leisure. LaTasha is extremely organized, and it shows! At the rehearsal she was patient and fun in explaining what everyone was expected to do and when. Then the day of the wedding I was blown away by her service! She traveled through ten inches of snow on our wedding day to Powell Gardens. She had scissors when I needed, put my veil in the right spot, helped with all the buttons on my gown. She brought us appetizers after the ceremony to make sure we ate and walked me through the buffet line. She cleaned spots off my dress, put my garter on at the reception, brought me drinks when I needed, and captured every important moment on my personal phone. Everyone in my wedding party and immediate family commented on how wonderful LaTasha was. My parents even said they would hire her if they ever decided to renew their vows! I truly cannot say enough positive feedback about LaTasha. Any bride would be lucky to have her to ensure a flawless day.

We loved every minute of our wedding with LaTasha’s help. LaTasha, you are amazing at what you do! Day Of Coordinator doesn't even come close to all she did prior to that day to help. LaTasha was an excellent resource for vendors. The Veil KC was the absolute best thing we had for our special day. LaTasha made sure our wedding day was nothing short of amazing, and all her hard work showed. My venue was not a wedding venue so lots of decorating was necessary to make it look elegant and she made sure it was exactly that. Everything ran so smooth from the first song as the bridal party walked down the aisle to the last song of the night on the dance floor thanks to her. LaTasha was our wedding coordinator for my late summer wedding! As a bride, it was such a relief to have someone take care of all the day of coordinating. We hired LaTasha for my daughters wedding and it was the best decision we made! LaTasha was wonderful and truly made the day run so smooth. Before hiring Latasha, I thought we had a good handle on all the wedding details, but during our first meeting I realized all the details that we hadn't thought of. LaTasha was awesome! We are planning a beach wedding this summer but wanted to get officially married now. She came to our house and signed our marriage license. She was kind, funny and professional. If I could I would take her to Florida for or ceremony this summer. Maybe I will.....

My daughter got married on July 30, 2017. I have already had 2 weddings for my older 2 children so this was #3. 3rd time's a charm? No way. I have experienced planning and prepping weddings before, but without LaTasha. This time was different (and yes better!) because LaTasha made all the difference in my daughter's special day running smoothly and perfectly. The guests had fun and my husband and I enjoyed every single second. We didn't worry or wonder about anything as we had complete confidence that LaTasha had it covered. At the end of this special day my husband said "LaTasha was the best investment." LaTasha saw details my daughter and I had overlooked. Those details took the wedding to a new level! The guests even recognized these special touches. One said she felt like she was in a fairy tale and didn't want to leave. What was the sweetest detail about having LaTasha in all these details is that she allowed my family (including me) to fully experience the sweetness of this celebration. Not only did she make sure EVERYTHING was covered, she first made sure that my family was well cared for. I now have only one unmarried child. When wedding #4 rolls around my husband and I will both insist on hiring LaTasha.

Latasha was excellent! I can't imagine what this process of weddding planning would have looked like had we not had her. She is always 2 steps ahead and extremely organized. She kept us on track and handled much of the leg work making things so muchless stress full than it could have been. We had 6 months to plan 300 guest wedding and with her help it was a huge success!

I cannot even begin to express my gratitude to LaTasha. She did a phenomenal job so that I could simply relax and enjoy my evening with my husband and all of our friends and family! She did all of the set up and take down all while still making sure everyone was where they needed to be when they needed to be there without missing a beat. If someone had a problem she had a solution without hesitation. She was prepared for anything thrown at her. I simply just got to be a bride and enjoy my special day. I was a bridesmaid in a dear friend's wedding this weekend and LaTasha was her coordinator. I have been in many weddings, but never one that has gone so smoothly. LaTasha is prepared for all things and didn't bat an eye no matter what request/issue was thrown her way. Our bride never batted an eye nor lifted a finger. LaTasha had everything under control. Even as a bridesmaid I was able to sit and relax with our bride, instead of putting out fires. LaTasha communicated with the wedding party with grace and elegance, but was very clear and concise. She was respectful, calm and in control of everything the entire time. Throughout the evening, LaTasha helped manage the party, while also cleaning up. She was so on top of things, we hardly noticed how much she was doing! Incredibly organized and professional, and yet totally willing to pause and dance for a minute when the dance floor was empty to help get the party moving again! A wonderful planner/organizer/comrade for any bride and bridal party! I can't recommend her enough!

Latasha James was by far, the most organized, professional, kind, warm, sincere, knowledgeable, impressive and amazing wedding Coordinator I have ever known. With my daughter living over 1,000 miles away...having only come back to Kansas City twice before the wedding, I could not have asked for a greater "right hand woman" and advocate for the bride (my daughter) than Latasha. Latasha listened well, made a point to get to know the bride and her needs, understood my husband and my wedding budget and made outstanding recommendations when and where needed. I remember convincing my then-fiancé that we needed to hire LaTasha. I explained it as purchasing insurance that everything would go smoothly. Oh my, did she far surpass our expectations!! She is SO much more than a Day of Coordinator! With the multiple “checklist” phone calls and confirming with all of my vendors, we were already happy with our decision to hire her. Little did we know that was only the beginning... LaTasha “surprised” me at the hair salon to let me know that my hired photographer was a no-show, but there was another photographer outside and PayPal on the phone to get a full refund. I didn’t even have a chance to fret about it. She handled everything with poise and amazing professionalism. I seriously have no idea what I would’ve done without her. LaTasha was an amazing coordinator for us! From the time we hired her to the end of our wedding night, she was on top of every detail and thought of a thousand things I never would have. She averted a hairstyling disaster (my stylist backed out days before the wedding!) and kept me feeling calm when I was getting stressed out. On the day of the wedding, I barely lifted a finger to set up. LaTasha took care of directing the wedding party to get things done so I could focus on myself and my husband-to-be. She was so organized and really kept everyone on their toes throughout the day to make sure all went as planned. She was worth every penny and we would not hesitate to hire her again for event coordination. What an amazing addition she was to our special day!

LaTasha was more than I could ever ask for! She's is worth her weight in gold! My wedding was everything I dreamed of and I know if she hadn't have been there things would not have been so smooth. I didn't have to worry about a thing! Her execution of my big day was flawless. If anything went wrong, I didn't know about it. She took care of even the smallest detail. Latasha coordinated my wedding June 18th 2016 and i couldn't be more pleased! By nature I'm a people pleaser and have a hard time speaking up, Latasha wasthat voice for me! Latasha did a wonderful job hiding all the mishaps throughout the day,as to not add any unneeded tress. She also came prepared to help with a few items that were lost in transit! Hiring Latasha was on of the best decisions I made for my wedding day!

LaTasha was a great help on and before our wedding day. She went above and beyond to help us with things we didn't even know to think of. LaTasha was a lifesaver for the wedding I was in on Saturday. Not only did she coordinate everything, but she also helped saved the day when the photographer backed out. Even a year ago, when I got married, she would send me information on things she saw I posted questions about, knowing that my venue was handling everything for me and I was not in need of a coordinator. If you are in need of her services, I would HIGHLY recommend her. She will be your right hand woman!

She saved us money with vendor suggestions and her vendors all love working with her. Latasha is amazing. From the moment that I spoke with her on the phone I couldn't imagine anyone else coordinating my wedding. From late night phone calls, advice, tracking me down linens the week before my wedding, to helping set up, clean up, putting together the vision of my wedding alter, Latasha went above and beyond. All of my bridesmaids and family loved her and were so grateful for her direction and command of her duties. There are no words to describe my gratitude for Latasha. She was there through the entire process, in ways others couldn't be, due to being out of town. I got to have my dream wedding and I'm not sure that would have been possible without the hardwork, dedication and love Latasha has for others and for what she does professionally. Latasha was absolutely amazing! I do not know what I would have done without her. Two weeks after the wedding and I am still being contacted by our guests to tell us how much they were impressed with her. LaTasha did an amazing job at my wedding. I was very excited to hire a day of coordinator to take care of some of the stress on the wedding day, but LaTasha went above and beyond!
