akeup! I (the bride) had Della & Gia and they both KILLED IT! They were both very detailed during the trial, took notes of what I liked/didn’t like, and had those notes and perfected everything on the big day! These girls were very professional and had such patience with my 2 year old daughter and young flower girls. They timed everything flawlessly and still had time at the end for touch ups. I highly recommend!

g about it. Jyl's makeup job was stunning and was exactly what I was looking for. They both were very professional and me sure I was happy in all ways. We had a huge bridal party, and it was executed flawlessly! Hands down 10/10 and would recommend them to anyone I know! Thank you guys so much!

For hair, Della nailed my look, braid with a bun style + a bridal hair clip as I went that route vs a veil. For makeup, I did airbrush during my trial but day of Jyl recommended traditional, glad I followed her professional rec because my makeup last all night & didn’t even have to touch up Highly recommend!

ht on time. We had a total of 9 girls including myself and they kept everything on schedule. Our girls loved chatting with them and they both calmed my nerves and kept the spirits high. The weather on the wedding day was rainy and cold but everyone looked amazing the whole night. Jylana and Lexie were available for any questions I had leading up to the big day and supplied to-go bags for our girls for any touch ups. They were truly a blast to have and so talented. I would use them again and again.

ng. Fast forward months later to my wedding day, I completely switched up what I wanted for hair and makeup and both Jessica and Jyl absolutely crushed it! They were the perfect team for my wedding day. I had 6 bridesmaids plus myself and my mom, and they easily accomplished getting us all done in less than 5 hours. All of us loved our hair and makeup, and it lasted all night (our makeup was not airbrush - I’m still amazed by that alone). They are friendly and personable, and very receptive to making sure you look the way you want to. I definitely felt incredible on my big day and would book them again in a heartbeat.

ely helpful at my trial assisting me with pulling together my thoughts and executing the vision. They were also able to replicate the look on the big day. The on-site offering was extremely convenient for me and the girl since we were able to relax in the comfort of my home before a long day. A few pieces of feedback that led me not to leave a five star review. I'm sharing this because I would want to know the why, but please keep in mind that this is my experience and all occurred during the very stressful moments before my wedding day. First, I had a very small window of time to schedule my HMU trial. I was working over an hour from their location for an inflexible employer at the time, and I had to go back and forth with them a few times before they were able to accommodate a late afternoon time. During the trial and leading up to the wedding, my planner sent them a schedule with all the individuals who are receiving the service. The group wanted to start hair and makeup much earlier than our wedding planner did which was challenging for my bridesmaids (none of whom are morning people). The early bridesmaids arrived on time and the Veil Society team was about 20 minutes late. They staffed three hair professionals and one makeup professional which made makeup the slowest step of the morning. One of the hair professionals held a curling iron, and none of my bridesmaids noticed her helping with anyone's hair. She left early, but it put my mother-in-law in an awkward position whether or not to tip this professional. Most of my bridesmaids prefer no-makeup as their every day look, and a few of them expressed that they felt they were pressured into darker makeup and false eyelashes. One of my girls was adamant that she did not want false eyelashes and was convinced to try them and then had them taken off. This affected timing since there was only one makeup artist for everyone. Lastly, there were a few awkward moments with money. I was ordering Starbucks for the bridesmaids, and the HMU professionals asked if they could jump on the order. They ordered very expensive drinks relative to what the rest of the group ordered and did not offer to pay for them. They also brought up during the morning that I still owed them for one person's hair and makeup. They had the itinerary from the planner weeks in advance, so it was a little frustrating that they brought this up on the morning of the wedding in front of my wedding party. Overall, if I could do it over again, I would still choose to work with the Veil Society. I thought they did an excellent job with everyone's hair and makeup, and the morning ran smoothly. It was an affordable option for on-site hair and makeup services, and I did enjoy working with the team. I was not bothered by any of the considerations I shared, but if you are a person who would be, then I would recommend with reservations.

2 little ones, who asked for every makeup brush to be used and all the colors to touch their skin. She was patient, friendly, and kind. Her makeup skills were beyond what I could ask for, and this is my second wedding with her as the makeup artist and she always delivers! Highly recommend her for any makeup you need done.

eir salon for trials, and I went back a separate day for another hair trial. Jessica was more than accommodating. The day of the wedding, they were punctual and finished well before we needed to be ready which was great on our nerves. Hair and makeup for 8 women plus a hair style for our flower girl all completed within 4.5-5 hours. Everyone loved their looks and we all received many compliments. I ended up changing my hair style and eye shadow color last minute and they were accepting and were more than happy to do what I wanted. Everything was perfect. I would use their services again and recommend them to anyone who would need their service. I was lucky enough to have won hair and makeup as a grand prize at a bridal show. I am so thankful!! Jessica and Jyl were amazing and my day wouldn’t have been the same without them.

ve been better, I chose a dark red lip and the uneven lines were very noticeable. I ended up fixing it myself and lining my lips and it turned out okay. Eyes and face looked great!!

were talking about a wedding they were at the weekend prior and complaining about how little they were tipped in front of me, which made me feel really uncomfortable. On the wedding day, the hair stylist forgot to put my veil in before leaving and we had to put it in ourselves and constantly fix it along with a clip she had put in my hair. I was happy with how everything ended up turning out, there were just some things that could have made the experience a little less stressful.

did my hair, and was patient and helpful. She definitely gave me the texture and bun I was looking for. The makeup artist, Jessica, was able to keep me looking subtle and soft but still natural (even with acne). For never having lashes or airbrush makeup, I was very pleased with my results and the way they all handled our tough crowd. I would recommend all the woman today and will be looking into them for my wedding as well (2023❤️)

nput and did not provide lipstick/gloss, etc stating she didn’t think it would last all day so there was no point in doing it. She also told others in the bridal party their lips would be done later before heading to the venue but left as soon as she was done with makeup stating she had to get to her other job. Fortunately, the makeup artist taking care of the bride was able to touch up all of the bridesmaids as multiple had lashes falling off, needing lip makeup, etc. Overall would recommend Jessica 100% for hair but would not recommend The Veil Society for makeup.

nd together they were able to successfully finish my hair, my 10 bridesmaids, my mom, and mother in law! They were done well before the time I requested for us to be ready by. air. She was calm, sweet, and supportive on the big day. She and her assistant were punctual and stayed ahead of schedule on the day of the wedding so no one felt rushed. All 8 of my bridesmaids loved their hair. The up-dos stayed put all day and night and looked perfect until the very end of the night. I can't say the same for other wedding hair that I've had done in other weddings. If you're booking from Cleveland just know that it is a bit of a drive out to Amherst for the hair trial but definitely worth it! You guys nailed it! Thanks so much for everything.
