My wedding/reception decor was more than I could ever imagine. I mean absolutely BEAUTIFUL and in total alignment with our personalities and energy. Communication, professionalism, knowledge, and creativeness was beyond exceptional! My husband and I are still in disbelief of what we imagined compared to what was delivered!

Amber is truly gifted at what she does! Our wedding was absolutely beautiful and it was because of her beautiful floral arrangements! We use Amber and VTE for all of our major events! We recommend her every chance we get!

I knew from the very first meeting that we had with The Velvet Touch Events that they would be perfect for our wedding florals and decor. Amber was so knowledgeable about different flowers and decor, we were blown away! I am the first to admit that I was one of those brides that knew exactly what she did not like but I was all over the place with what I did like. Amber and her team literally deciphered everything that I told them that I liked and created the most amazing decorations for our wedding day. Our mouths dropped wide open when we had the opportunity to see the first look of our reception hall. The first thing that we saw was that Amber had created a tree as a centerpiece on one of the tables and we were amazed! People are STILL talking about our wedding floral and decor and we are so glad that we went with Amber and her team! Book with her and you will never have anything to worry about!

My florals were exquisite and executed exactly how I imagined, even with last minute flower shortages on eucalyptus. That being said, I WISH I HAD HAD MORE BUDGET FOR AMBER! She created a gorgeous atmosphere on my budget and didn't blink at my desire for a non-conventional design. I would have loved to see what else she could do given the budget. She was so amazing I wish I could have more events that needed florals, she makes me want to make up special occasions. Very rarely do guests notice the floral decorations, but mine all did and even tried taking some with them. They were so well built and so well designed that we were able to use many of them again for a guest brunch the next morning. I can't rave any more, Amber Kirkland and Velvet Touch Events is amazing.

Amber is beyond amazing. I have to say throughout this process I've been SUPER easy to please...everything my wedding planner has gotten together for me and all of my vendors have showed me I LOVED. On the DAY of my wedding, my free bouquet and boutonniere I won from another company came and I couldn't believe how AWFUL they were. My wedding planner immediately took it to Amber from The Velvet Touch whom we had hired to do the rest of our decor/floral arrangements. She fixed it so quickly into EXACTLY what I wanted...on top of everything else she was already doing. I'll never be able to thank her enough for rescuing my bouquet that day. Everything from the ceremony to the reception decor was a complete dream. It's like she could see what was inside my mind with such little direction. So grateful for her!!!

Her attention to detail and the little surprises she had for us were perfect. Our sweetheart table was the best I've ever seen. Amber was exceptional from the start. Her home office was lovely and professional. Really liked the large monitor that allowed her to pull up Pinterest images. She had suggestions without taking over. I appreciated her staying in contact with my wedding coordinator instead of asking me a million things over and over. Again, professional. The flowers arrived when they were supposed to, in time for before-wedding pictures. The alter was beautiful. Our bouquets were exquisite. I never knew flowers could be so vibrant; had to come straight from the garden. She paired the decor colors perfectly with my wedding colors. All my guests were so impressed with the class and elegance of everything. Amber made my vision a reality, and it was absolutely gorgeous! Thank you!

WOW! From DAY 1 Amber asked great questions and listened to understand my vision. She clarified and it became evident that she was not “checking a box” she planned to use the information in her design creation! She will work within your budget but most important to me was her Professionalism, Expertise, and her ability to create a “next level Experience!” My recommendation to Brides is to set the vision and Trust The Velvet Touch Events to one of the most important events of your life- you won’t regret it!! The colors , the mixing of textures, her follow up, the plan , the execution were all exceptional. PS ... my reception was at the Inn At St. John and she took an already AMAZING room and made it SPECTACULAR! Everyone commented on the beautification of the Triumph Church Sanctuary too! My only issue is that I can only give a 5 Star instead of a 10!

The Velvet Touch went above and beyond what I expected! Amber took my vision and turned it into reality. The bridal party flowers were beautiful. My bouquet was amazing and filled with broaches and jewels just like I wanted. The centerpieces literally brought me to tears! Amber worked within my budget and made our room truly feel like Royal Elegance! All of my guests raved about the decor in the room. I recently got married at The Inn St Johns in Plymouth where my reception was held in the atrium room. That room is absolutely stunning on its own so I wanted to keep things classic but with a touch of glam. Prior to meeting Amber I had a complete vision of what I wanted my wedding to look like. I had gone to a few other places to get quotes and to discuss "my vision," but no one seemed to fit the bill. Other people quoted crazy amounts and I felt like they truly didn't want to take the time to get to know us as a couple. The moment we sat down and talk to Amber I knew she was perfect! She listened to not only to what we wanted, but the budget we felt comfortable in and completely understood my vision! She was amazing to work with during my planning process, we communicated a lot about certain details we wanted for our wedding and she was accommodating to all of it. I am a complete planner down to the smallest detail so when my wedding day finally came I thought I knew how exactly everything was going to turn out. But let me tell you... the MOMENT I walked into my reception room I was BLOWN AWAY. She had taken every picture, thought, and idea and made that room more beautiful than I could have ever dreamed. Not only did my guests jaws dropped as they looked around the room and at the amazing head table that was filled down the center with vases, all white flowers and candles but every staff member at St John was bringing in other staff members from around the grounds to take a look at the room. I find that such a compliment when you have a staff that sees hundreds of weddings a year and is that blown away by a reception. Amber was amazing, I had family members down in the room prior to the wedding helping set up other details and she had to have everything perfect, even saying "Katie would want it this way." It was incredible to have a vendor that took my vision and made it her responsibility to have it as perfect as she would her own wedding day. I would completely recommend anyone to use her for their upcoming wedding. She was on top of staying in budget and listening to our ideas. People thought our wedding cost double the amount than it was because of the details she included to make our wedding day perfect.

The work of the owner of this company, Amber is superb! Her reply to my initial email inquiry spoke of her professionalism. We made an appointment and she was prompt and excited to present her business to me. Amber had excellent suggestions and ideas to fit within my budget. I really enjoyed working with Amber. She provide my floral arrangements for my reception. She is very creative and has a great personality. I loved her enthusiasm when it came to planning for my wedding and I really appreciated her willingness to accomodate my requests. As far as pricing, I found her to be extremely reasonable. At first I was not so sure about putting my wedding in someone elses control. After I hired Amber at Velvet Touch, she assured me that everything would be okay.
