Brittany was our month of coordinator, and we could not have done it without her! We had done everything ourselves leading up to when we hired her and thought we were well prepared...
, but she showed us really how much it helps to have an expert there to help you. What was especially wonderful was when she took over communication with the vendors so we could spend our final week leading up to the wedding relaxing and really soaking everything in. On the wedding day I was completely stress free and unaware of any issues that popped up. Brittany handled everything and ensured that our day ran smoothly so that we could focus on the most important part; getting married!
We LOVED working with Brittany. We had monthly meetings with her for over a year, from the venue search phase to the handoff to our month-of coordinator, and she was so helpful. Sh...
e helped us with the searches for everything—venue, DJ, photography, day-of coordination, flowers, catering—and provided us timelines and organization tools that were genuinely invaluable. We had very little idea going in exactly what was needed to plan a wedding, but Brittany’s collaboration made us feel very on top of things. She also worked with us to troubleshoot things when issues arose (like our flower provider not following some of our communication requests). And an added bonus is that she’s fun to hang out with lol—we really enjoyed our monthly meetings!! Would absolutely recommend the Venlist (and Brittany specifically)!
I had the best experience with The Venlist. I was fortunate to work with two great planners, first Kyra, and then Brittany. Kyra really understood what I was going for and was exce...
llent at helping me plan, so I was bummed when she left. However, Brittany is absolutely amazing. She’s the absolute best at what she does. She goes above and beyond for you and she will definitely deal with any vendor issues you may have. Brittany is the main reason why my wedding vision was properly executed and brought to life. The Notion platform was perfect in keeping track of all things wedding, and I loved the style of it. Brittany is such a great person and easy to connect with.
Working with Erin Avery was more than a dream - she is a dream maker, fantasy creator, and one of the most organized people we’ve ever worked with. There honestly aren't words that...
capture the depth of our appreciation for her work. She took us through the whole journey as our virtual planner, guided us through the panic moments, saw the potential in our vision, and as our Day-Of Coordinator ensured we have the most magical wedding we could have ever dreamed up. She respected our budget, never wanted us to compromise on our vision, found vendors who could bring that vision to life, and made us feel like family the entire experience.
Erin brings a profound attention to detail, care for us as a couple, calming spirit, and gentle smile to every person she interacts with. She wants you to have your day go smoothly, as stress free as possible, and makes sure that everything is organized, found, and done correctly. We couldn't have asked for a better person to walk us forward into married life, keeping track of every nuance, contacting every vendor, and protecting our time as we approached the biggest and happiest day of our lives. Erin is truly the best and a master at her craft.
If you’re considering working with her, that very first meeting you will feel the beautiful energy and excitement she shares for what matters most to you - and she’ll make sure that your day is one you’ll never forget.
I cannot say enough incredible things about Erin. Above and beyond does not begin to cover it! Look no further for any of your wedding planning needs.

f coordinator almost 2 years in advance. From the beginning, she was very responsive, informative, kind, and helpful. I am pretty organized, and she consistently thought of questions I didn't! I was very impressed with her demeanor with myself and the rest of our vendors.
Our venue required a pre-approved coordinator, and Erin took the steps to contact them to make sure she would work out, and we are so glad she did!
She did everything she said she would and then some. She reached out to all of our vendors, worked with us on our timeline (many times!), attended our rehearsal, and never got frustrated even when we had a lot going on.
Erin felt more like a friend than a coordinator, and we are so happy we got to spend our special day with her.
Our day went so smoothly from start to finish, and we know this is due to Erin's impeccable attention to detail.
If you are looking to have an incredible day with a crisp timeline and no stress - Erin is your gal!

elines, site visits, and any question I could possibly have. She was very timely with her responses, extremely organized, and was always down to jump on a zoom call with me. My wedding would not have been what it was without Erin's help, I feel very lucky to have had her as a day of coordinator!

r wedding and on the day of the wedding. We had a 40 person wedding at a chapel in Georgetown and a restaurant reception downtown, and Brittany and Erin were a huge help in the lead up to the big day and on the day itself. Both Brittany and Erin are extremely friendly and competent. You can trust them to follow through on action items and to communicate with your vendors in a professional, friendly manner. We had three great meetings with them in the lead up to the wedding, which was a great way to pinpoint issues, things we hadn't thought of, etc. After our meetings, Brittany and Erin promptly executed tasks, communicated with vendors, created a master schedule for the rehearsal and wedding day, etc., all without any follow-up from us. Brittany and Erin ran our rehearsal with efficiency - they were great interacting with our families, and they had made several site visits to our venues, so they were familiar with all the necessary details and venue contact people. On the day of our wedding, they did an amazing job working with our florist to transform the chapel into exactly the aesthetic we were hoping for. In the gap between the ceremony and reception, they transported flowers from the chapel to the restaurant and did a truly incredible job situating the arrangements on tables, pedestals, etc. - the space looked fantastic. Aesthetics aside, Brittany and Erin did a wonderful job coordinating car services on the day of the wedding, managing the string quartet and processional, etc. Brittany and Erin were a huge part of making everything go off without a hitch. If you're looking for incredibly friendly and competent month-of coordination at a very reasonable price, we highly recommend the Venlist.

ganized, thoughtful, timely in communication, professional, and extremely calm under pressure. As a wedding photographer, I've worked with many wedding vendors and can recognize when an event is set up for success. Successful wedding planners need skills in time management, communication, and attention to detail. With The Venlist, all of these areas exceeded my expectations. I'd be happy to work with this business again, and I will be recommending them to my friends/clients in the DMV area. Do yourself a favor and reach out to Brittany with your business inquiry!
