We ended up canceling our wedding at Carley Brook because we decided to elope, but I still wanted to leave a review because we had a great experience with them!! The venue is absolutely beautiful, we loved the outdoor ceremony space and there were SO many pretty places for photos.
They have both indoor and outdoor spaces, which also meant a good bad weather plan! And bonus: the getting-ready space is soooo nice, for both bride and groom. This place is build for gorgeous, well run weddings.
They were also incredibly easy to work with! The initial tour was easy to book and they give you a tour of the whole grounds on a ranger. We had LOTS of questions (before and after booking), and every single one was answered quickly and thoroughly. Their website is also one of the best we came across while venue shopping. And their preferred vendor list had tons of helpful information. Every vendor we spoke to also had great things to say about working there. Very professional and helpful overall.
Just weeks after getting engaged with my now wife, we toured Carley Brook. It was the first, and only place that we toured and she told me we weren’t going anywhere else. Carley Brook was the place that we would get married. The majority of the venue we see today wasn’t even built yet and at that time we could feel the pure magic and beauty this place would have and had for us on our wedding day. We booked immediately and began working with a perfect team of professionals who would make our wedding day so so special. We loved every moment we spent at this place from the first tour, to the engagement photos (where I found a four leaf clover this place is SO perfect), to our whole amazing perfect wedding day that could not have happened anywhere else truly.
Special shout out to Jessie our day of coordinator, but we really need to thank Jenny. She was there every single minute that we had been there from the first day tour, to the engagement shoot, to the very last minute we left. She really made this place for us and if you are lucky enough to have her work on your wedding it will be perfect. We’re thankful to everyone from else from Carley Brook as well many of which we never got to meet but we trust they would have been just as kind and supportive as Jenny if we had.
The only thing that makes us sad about this place is that we have little need to go back and spend time there now that we’re married. Can’t imagine having any of this anywhere else.
We also highly highly recommend pairing Smoked and Sauced for catering as well as DJ Dunder Mixin. These guys somehow took this venue from flawless to even more flawless and we 1000% recommend them

Congrats on your engagement! Welcome to The Venue at Carley Brook, a picturesque setting for weddings and other special events in Honesdale, PA.
We're a brand new wedding venue in the Poconos of northeast Pennsylvania. Carley Brook is more than just another rustic barn venue. We believe that just because your wedding is in the country doesn't mean it needs to feel rustic. Your wedding should reflect YOU and your elevated style.
The Venue at Carley Brook features two main interchangeable indoor ceremony and reception spaces: one stunning 30-ft-tall permanent clear vinyl atrium and one modern renovated white barn. Both of these indoor spaces are heated and cooled, allowing you to get married at any time of year! And for outdoor ceremonies, our Open-air Chapel sits in a manicured field with 360 degree views of the valley.
Carley Brook is located on a 185-acre farm with hillsides, a Christmas tree patch, and wildflower fields, allowing couples tons of creative flexibility with outdoor photo spots.
And for cocktail hour, we have two beautiful outdoor spaces. The Stone Arena Patio is a large patio featuring statement gas fire pits and a renovated permanent outdoor bar, allowing you a dedicated space to serve drinks and appetizers. The Hillside Patio is right up a staircase and features permanent bulb string lights, a wood-burning fire pit and access to the main barn.
Before the party even starts, relax and unwind in the thoughtfully designed getting-ready suites. The Something Blue Suite is complete with two rooms, a private bathroom, vanities, and sitting areas. Or sit back in the rustic Heritage Loft featuring a pool table, shuffleboard table, TV, bar, and sitting area.
