The Venue at Covey Rise

mother of the groom who lives in Alexandria, I was worried about planning a wedding weekend from long distance. It was seamless. I went down one time and handled the rest with a well organized email thread and phone calls. The entire staff from the wait staff, the bar staff, the talented chef, and the set up crew were helpful, kind, and professional. We did the rehearsal and wedding there and stayed on the property. Also there are no surprise costs. The cost of the packages are very transparent. They are happy to add whatever we wanted and detailed any extra cost. You will not be hit with hidden costs!   Everything was so easy and the accommodations were perfect. We rented the Magnolia Lodge for our family, Magnolia Cottage for the bride and bridal party which is gorgeous and great for hair, makeup, and pics on the wedding day. Of course the Lodge was perfect for the groom and groomsmen. They were able to hang out and play pool after the complimentary shoot! Both parties were served lunch while they got ready on the wedding day! Both the bride and groom and their friends had a blast on the wedding day. Zero stress!  The food was amazing for both of our events and for lunches during our stay. They took care of everything from passed apps, bar service, champagne toasts, the meal for the rehearsal and the stations for the reception. Our guests still talk about the delicious food.  Set up and clean up were a breeze. The venue is so gorgeous you don’t need a lot to compliment its beauty. There are several things to rent that made the decor perfect and easy.  The ceremony on the green was gorgeous. Beautiful chairs are set up by the team.  We used a floral arch for the exchange of vows.  It was the perfect setting. The wedding coordinator handled the timing so that I could just be a Mom.  CR is a special place for us because our boys grew up hunting there. So when choosing a venue for the wedding, CR was a natural choice. But I never expected it to be as wonderful as it was. All they kept saying is this is so fun!  As a Mom I wanted an elegant wedding but I wanted them to enjoy themselves most of all. Covey Rise provided that and them some.  Don’t hesitate! You will have an amazing time here!!

was gorgeous, the staff was so attentive, flexible, and personable. Had multiple meetings at the venue before the wedding with both Leigh Ann and Cayse, to go over details and ask questions. What really meant the most to us about this special venue was the ability for ALL of our wedding party / immdieate family to stay ON SITE for the whole weekend! I had so much ease and peace of mind the day of my wedding and I really owe it all to my wonderful coordinators and this perfect place.

She was so kind, easy to communicate with, and went above and beyond to make sure the entire day went perfectly. Every single staff member we worked with was wonderful, and our guests couldn’t stop talking about how beautiful the venue was and how smoothly everything went.  We are so thankful we chose Covey Rise — it truly made our wedding weekend unforgettable!

It was the perfect location for my extremely large family & we had more than enough room to be able to fit everyone!! All my guest gave me so many compliments on how beautiful the place was & how unbelievably great the food was!! I planned my entire wedding by myself with the help of these 2 wonderful ladies. The team stays in touch with you throughout the planning process to make sure everything turns out perfect the day of. Our rehearsal dinner & wedding day could not have gone any better than it did. The food was incredible and we haven’t stopped hearing about it from our guests! My husband and I are so glad we found this Venue. We would recommend it over and over again and actually have a friend who booked The Venue at Covey Rise for their wedding after seeing ours.

There were no last-minute issues, just a perfectly orchestrated event that flowed seamlessly from beginning to end. This level of excellence is a testament to the hard work and dedication of the Covey Rise team. I would give them more stars if I could. They provided exceptional room and board for our guests, ensuring everyone was comfortable and well taken care of throughout the festivities. Their flexibility was remarkable, allowing us to bring in our own alcohol and even incorporate a Polish deli into our menu (they even cut it for us!), making our wedding truly unique and personal. The food at our wedding was a highlight that our guests continue to rave about (even months after the wedding). Covey Rise served the best wedding meal many of us have EVER experienced. The quality, presentation, and flavors were impeccable, leaving a lasting impression on everyone.The kindness and warmth of the staff at Covey Rise made a significant difference. eam at covey was absolutely amazing. We worked directly with Cayse every step of the way with venue visits, planning, final selections, etc. and she was tremendous help. The day of the wedding we had Leigh Ann guiding us with our wedding planner and she was a breath the entire weekend. The staff was top notch and the food was incredibly!! Everything was there which made the whole weekend very seamless and actually allowed us to take everything in without it going by with a blink of an eye. If we could do it all over again, we would and not change a thing!!!

The fact that our guests could stay on site was a game changer. The cabins and hideaways were gorgeous and just steps away from where the party was held. As a former event planner, it was so nice to let the Covey Rise team do their thing. They’re so good at it and made it the easiest and most enjoyable party ever. Guests (and guest of honor) still raving about it all!! Guests were wanting to go back to because the food was SO good. The lodging is insanely beautiful and peaceful. Don’t be deceived thinking you are renting just a “cabin”.. these are well appointed luxury homes. The team handled all my guests lodging. I barely had to lift a finger. I told them my wants and ideas and they just made it all happen. I have not one single complaint about the planning process or the event itself. Exceeded all expectations. They helped deal with a last minute cake crisis and pulled off a true miracle that saved the party. I cannot recommend enough and won’t be our last event there.

Chef Austin made certainly the best wedding food I’ve ever come across - the food tasted even better than it looked, which is saying a great deal. The staff are incredibly friendly and kind. Mr. Jimbo went out of his way to make our wedding come to life, and that is something we will not forget. The Venue speaks for itself - such an elegant, (clean!) and timeless/classy facility - not comparable to any other venue that we could find. As I write this, I can’t think of a single thing I’d change. We could not have been more grateful to have been married there!

r dreams come true. My Husband and his groomsmen enjoyed all of the amenities such as a skeet shoot before the wedding/ Playing pool and Corn hole. All of the bridesmaids were able to get ready in the spacious cabins and hideaway cabins that they offer! Between the Staff, the accommodations, and the delicious food I couldn't have had a more perfect Wedding weekend! Our family and friends got to stay and enjoy the weekend with the amazing cabins they offer! I am forever grateful for the help of Cayse (Covey Rises Wedding coordinator) SHE IS AMAZING. She was so helpful throughout the entire process. From the first time I toured the venue till the end of the wedding weekend she was everything I needed as a bride! I had no stress at all! I would recommend this venue to anyone!

personalized to us! Both our families are from out of town so being able to have everyone stay on property made the weekend feel like a getaway for us and guests! THE FOOD WAS AMAZING!!!! Even my picky mother-in-law still brags on how great the food was both for the rehearsal and reception! Casey and Leigh Ann the event coordinators took the time to help plan, organize and destress weeks/months before the big day! Leaving the big day stress free! (From sending leftovers from the reception back to our cabin so we could eat after, to fixing my neon sign DAY OF these two went above and beyond!!! ). These ladies are seriously super stars and I cannot thank them enough for everything! I could not be more pleased with this venue and would 10/10 recommend to any couple!

He also was present the night of my wedding to personally ensure we had a perfect night. After the wedding, we got so many compliments from our guests about The Venue. Everyone was impressed by the beauty of the property, how delicious the food was and how attentive the bar staff was. My personal favorite part of having my wedding at Covey Rose was being able to stay on site with my bridesmaids the night before and having family and friends staying the night of the wedding. It felt like a destination wedding! My husband’s favorite part was going on a duck hunt the morning of the wedding with his dad! We are so glad we chose Covey Rise!
