Choosing a venue that offered everything in one place was so important to my husband and me. We live in Tennessee, while most of our family and friends are in Florida, so having our rehearsal, ceremony, and reception all at the same beautiful location made everything so much easier. We loved that the property was gorgeous and peaceful, yet still close to everything our guests needed. Having separate areas to get ready was also such a special part of the day and made those moments before the ceremony so much more enjoyable.
This venue also holds a very special place in our hearts. We had my husband’s Ma B’s Celebration of Life there, and my sister-in-law’s wedding was also held there. So being able to have our wedding at the same place where our family had already shared such meaningful moments made it incredibly special to us. We were able to add another beautiful memory to a place that already meant so much to our family.
The staff was absolutely amazing from start to finish. We somehow managed to have what felt like Florida’s coldest weekend in history! 🥶😂 But the team went above and beyond to help us navigate the weather and make sure our day was still everything we dreamed it would be.
What meant the most was how much time they put into the little details. They genuinely cared about making everything come together and making our day feel personal and special.
We are so grateful we chose The Venue at Mudge Ranch. The beautiful property, the incredible staff, and the memories we made there will always hold a special place in our hearts. Thank you for helping make one of the most important weekends of our lives so unforgettable! ❤️
From the moment we toured our venue, we knew it was something special but seeing everything come together on our wedding day was beyond anything we could have imagined. The property itself is absolutely gorgeous, and the setup was truly beyond words. Every detail was beautiful, organized, and handled so professionally.
The entire team genuinely knows what they’re doing, and it made such a huge difference throughout the planning process and on the wedding day itself. They were incredibly flexible, accommodating, and willing to work with us whenever we needed it, which meant so much during such a stressful time.
Our wedding day felt completely stress free because of them. Everything flowed so smoothly, and we were actually able to relax and enjoy every moment instead of worrying about behind the scenes details. I honestly can’t express enough how thankful we are for everything they did to make our day so perfect. We are a family of dreamers.
In 1996, my parents, Tim and Patty Mudge, dreamed of opening their own cattle ranch, and so Mudge Ranch was born. Today, three generations live and work together breeding cattle, growing hay, and maintaining this charming, 10,000 square foot facility.
Years later, after celebrating several family weddings on site, I dreamed of a unique space in which more brides and grooms could tie the knot, and so The Venue at Mudge Ranch became a reality.
Hi there! I am Becky Mudge Black and The Venue truly is my dream come true. Along with my husband, Jeremy, and brother, Chad, we have created a perfect place for any event, a rustic barn built on a foundation of pride, passion, and love.
Our facility is much more than an operational farm these days; it is a venue in which dreams come true even before you say, "I do". Beautifully maintained and offering a variety of picturesque views, The Venue at Mudge Ranch is sure to be the perfect backdrop for your wedding day
We offer one day rentals, included is a spacious bridal room, grooms retreat, unique Fire Pit area with bench swings, air-conditioned multi-stall restrooms, large food prep area with 17x8 ft walk-in cooler, and several different ceremony areas to choose from.
Our barn is almost 10,000 sq ft with over 7,000 sq ft of open seating for your reception. All the rooms are under the barn, just in case of rain, you are covered under one roof. This means you and your guests stay dry even with our crazy Florida weather.
