ur, Hank & Kara made it feel like our wedding was the most important wedding ever - something I'm sure everyone else who has ever gotten married at Murphy lane would echo. Their personal care for every aspect of not only our day, but the months of planning leading up to it, made everything feel less stressful. They connected us with a vendor team that worked together like a well oiled machine to make everything about our wedding weekend flawless. In every possible way, Kara & Hank went above and beyond not only for us as the couple, but for our families. Kara is truly a saint for the way she is able to calm everyone down on such a busy and important day, and Hank's hard work making the property as beautiful as possible is impossible to miss. I genuinely do not have enough vocabulary to express how wonderful it is to work with the Murphy Lane team, their preferred vendors, and especially with Hank & Kara themselves. Of course, the property is absolutely beautiful and a dream come true for brides dreaming of an outdoor wedding. Hank and Kara provided us with vetted vendors who catered to dietary restrictions and fulfilled each of our specific requests in a fantastic manner. The Venue at Murphy Lane property is exceptionally clean and beautifully maintained. Every angle of the property provides a picturesque backdrop for a beautiful wedding day. From the venue’s design and decor to the lush landscaping touches that are perfectly groomed throughout every season, the property and event spaces are flawless. Decor is aplenty and at your fingertips as a Venue at Murphy Lane bride, making my vision so seamlessly come to life. The vast options of ceremony and reception spaces as well as seating options and arrangements allowed our wedding to be anything but “cookie-cutter.”

They truly felt like family from the moment they welcomed me onto their property for a tour. We chose the all-inclusive package and Kara got some amazing vendors for our wedding who were all so sweet and professional...I was overjoyed to not have to track down a caterer, photographer, DJ, etc. myself. We felt very well taken care of and truly enjoyed our wedding. My mother-in-law also rented the cabin that's on the property for the wedding weekend, and that was an amazing amenity to offer! Having the bridal party onsite the night before the wedding was very helpful. We got so many compliments from our guests about everything from the food to the music to the venue and I am so thrilled that we got married at Murphy Lane. I would highly recommend it!

From the drive in to the property to the sparkler exit at the end of your wedding, Murphy Lane has thought of and perfected every little detail of their weddings. We had our ceremony in the vineyard and used the outside patio for dancing and cocktail hour and it was absolutely gorgeous under the bistro lights. We ended up having beautiful weather on our wedding day but Murphy Lane had a full rainy day plan set incase we needed it and it made us feel super confident going into our wedding weekend.
We also had a walk through at the venue about 3 weeks before the wedding which included our florist and caterer. We went over all of our plans and details for our wedding and Hank also poured up some cocktail samples for us to enjoy so we could pick out our signature cocktails. They really have thought of everything so that you as the bride and groom don't have to worry about a single thing on your wedding day.
Kara, Hank, and Lea Ann are seriously a power team and we take every opportunity we can to take a trip back out to Murphy Lane!!! We had the best day ever at Murphy Lane and are so thankful for our experience.

so many beautiful ceremony spots for any time of year, plus they have a lot of decor items already there that you can choose from. Kara and Hank are super helpful every step of the way, always making sure we had everything we needed and making sure it was all to our liking. We got married in February in the covered patio and had our reception inside the barn. Everyone that attended our wedding still tells us how wonderful everything was and how kind the staff was. This venue was perfect because we didn’t know how cold the weather would be in February and they were super flexible with us about where we wanted the ceremony to be. All of their preferred vendors were absolutely amazing as well! Not one disappointment from us! It truely was a perfect day and Hank and Kara know how to help ease the stress and make you feel like a part of their family!

A little back story...our original wedding date was May 30th, 2020 and we all know that 2020 was not a great year to have weddings or big get togethers, so we rescheduled, hassle free and with minimal stress for January 2021. January came, and we conveniently tested positive for covid on the 6th, exactly 9 days before we are suppose to get married! I think I called Kara and Lea Ann scream crying because I just could not believe this was happening. They quickly came up with another plan for our wedding, which included getting married on our same day of January 16th, but outside at the venue with our parents and siblings only, and we rescheduled a covid free reception for July 2021.
I am still in awe that we found not only a venue that we absolutely love, but also venue owners who love what they do and will bend over backward to make your day special. No matter the circumstances! Our *days* would not have been a success without Murphy Lane in our story! We love you guys!

Kara took care of so many little details throughout the day and Hank does an exceptional job making the property a beautiful background for photography. Not only is the venue and the property breathtaking, but the owners help out immensely with making your day everything you’ve dreamed of and more. Kara and Hank helped us every step of the way from things like recommending vendors to setting up the furniture and putting together all the little details and decorations while we got ready. After the wedding Kara recommended an acrylic flower preservation service which made it so we were able to keep our flowers forever.
I cannot emphasize enough how The Venue at Murphy Lane took care of us. This made our wedding day feel so easy and stress free! My husband and I were actually able to spend time together and feel happy and in love instead of stressed and worried!
Even after the wedding The Venue at Murphy Lane supported us and helped to make sure everything went the way we wanted! We had run into some issues with our photographers not providing us our photos, and Kara stepped in and was able to resolve this issue and our photos were then delivered to us without a big spectacle. I can be very type A, especially when it comes to planning so it’s hard for me to relax and count on people to get things done the way I want, but Hank and Kara went above and beyond to make sure everything we wanted was taken of. They also have an exclusive coordinator, Lea Ann, who is exceptional and kept the day running so smooth. I second guessed so many decisions throughout wedding planning, but whether I chose the perfect venue was never a question. What we loved most about the venue is how accessible and personal it was for us. We were able to visit multiple times during the planning process to discuss set up and decor and we even did our engagement photos on the property, which turned out amazing. Kara, Hank, and the staff went beyond expectations throughout our entire wedding planning process. They made us a priority and ensured that our wedding day was absolutely perfect, even despite the deluge of rain!! With their help, our vision was executed flawlessly. We witnessed and heard from our guests how polite and attentive the staff was. To us, the excellent customer service truly elevated this entire experience. Trusting someone with your wedding day is a big deal, and they did not disappoint!
Additionally, we were able to rent the log cabin on the property for our wedding party and guests - they loved it!! Convenient and such a hospitable touch.

n’t find another venue that adds that personal touch like they do. Kara is so mindful to the small details and I greatly appreciate that. They definitely helped bring our big day to life and our guests are still telling us about how much they loved the venue, it was just so easy that all 120 people can mingle and enjoy activities in the same area, and that’s being indoor AND outdoors! Some of our guests also mentioned how helpful and nice Hank and Kara were. It says a lot about how friendly and interactive they are when our guests come telling us about their encounters. ne and they didn’t fufill what I needed. Then a friend told me about Murphy Lane and I looked up pictures, I fell in love. Little did I know that pictures didn’t do it justice. This venue is absolutely amazing! There are tones of different atmospheres to have your ceremony and that’s what I loved about it and the fact that the barn is absolutely gorgeous. Also on top of that Kara and Hank are the most sweetest and genuine people I have ever met. They made you feel like royalty and that you were the most important thing to them. They love what they do and it shows 100%. 20 years from now my husband and I will be looking back at our special day still thanking Kara and Hank for all they did for us. to begin. We looked at some other venues in the area, but none of them compared to Murphy Lane. It is a beautiful space with gorgeous landscaping and scenery. My bridesmaids and I stayed in the cabin that is on the property the night before my wedding and it was so fun having all my girls in one place! Highly recommend! Since my wedding was in December, we didn’t know how the weather was going to be... but tents and outdoor heaters were available for us to rent and it worked out perfectly since it rained that day. Kara and Hank are the sweetest owners and were so easy to work with. They helped us out tremendously along the way because we’ve never planned a wedding before. The barn was decorated beautifully for Christmas and they new exactly how tables needed to be placed and where the best places for food, dancing, etc. should go and it was perfect! Overall, it was absolutely beautiful and I wouldn’t have changed a thing! The Venue at Murphy Lane is exceptional, along with Kara and Hank!

The bear cave was perfect for me and my bridesmaids. Kara and Hank went above and beyond to make sure our day and weekend was nothing short of perfect!
