We had the most beautiful wedding at Murphy Lane in March 2023. Not only is the venue incredibly beautiful; offering a variety of different ceremony spaces and unique options for your perfect wedding, but the owners, vendors and staff are some of the most amazing people who truly care about each of their couples and strive to give them the BEST DAY EVER. We were able to have a stress free day, knowing we were in the best hands. If you are thinking about having your wedding here, you will not regret it!

This is THE best venue you could ask for. We absolutely loved our day here. The venue is gorgeous, has so many options on where you can do the ceremony, a great indoor option in case of rain (which thank goodness we had) but Kara and Hank are what really set this venue apart. They are so kind and attentive to every detail and take care of you like no one can. Not only are Kara and Hank amazing but the staff they have crafted to help execute your perfect day is just as good. They’re professional and kind and we very much appreciated all of their help on our big day. We would not have had as good of a day, had we gotten married anywhere else. We cannot recommend them enough and their stunning venue.

My daughter was married at Murphy Lane on June 10, 2023. Murphy Lane is simply perfection! Hank and Kara are wonderful to work with and gave Kendall her Dream Wedding! Her team of vendors are top notch! They took care of every detail and on the Wedding Day so that I was able to be with my daughter for every precious moment. We received so many compliments from our guests that evening on the venue, the food and the fun! I would recommend Murphy Lane to anyone looking for a venue! If you are in search of a venue, look NO more! Go ahead and book with the Venue at Murphy Lane!! Hank and Kara take care of each of their couples as though we are their own children. The venue is not only gorgeous but their attention to detail makes the venue even that much better. I really wanted to do a champagne tower but due to the alcohol laws, we were unable to do so. Kara and Hank surprised me with a beautiful Champagne Tree the day of our wedding that was definitely a conversation starter and I absolutely loved it. They truly made our wedding Thee Best Day Ever and I could not have imagined going with any other venue. So glad that we found you all right in our home town. This venue will forever be our union home.

Murphy Lane is a gorgeous venue with several options (inside and out) for your ceremony. The owners, Kara and Hank, were so attentive and accommodating from day one of the planning process to the wedding day. They have an amazing team of venders that work together often, and all seem to really enjoy working together. We had a short engagement and we were lucky to get the last fall date available in 2022. Kara, Hank, and our wedding planner were life savers during the chaotic planning process. We could not have done it without them. It is evident that Kara and Hank love what they do. They build relationships with every couple that gets married at Murphy Lane, and you can see that it means a lot to them to get to share in your special day!

The Venue at Murphy Lane is not only a gorgeous venue, but it is run by amazing people. From the start of the wedding planning process to our big day Kara and Hank have been nothing but helpful and attentive. In their hands you can trust that one of the most important and stressful days of your life will be flawlessly executed. The property is wonderfully maintained and will definitely impress your guests no matter the ceremony site of your choosing. Additionally, the venue provides plenty of decor options such as votives, arbors, signage, lanterns etc. I can not say enough great things about our wedding and the group of people that helped make it happen.

The Venue at Murphy Lane is gorgeous with so many beautiful photo and ceremony spots. The workers were very accommodating months before the wedding, the day of and even after. Andrew and I could never fully express just how much Kara, Hank, and all of The Venue at Murphy Lane staff mean to us. From our first visit on July 18th, 2020 to our wedding day on October 23rd, 2021, we were blown away. When we pulled into the property, we were always amazed by the country estate views and the barn that is a true representation of southern elegance. Hank and Kara were always there to greet us with smiling faces and a welcoming hug. We always felt like family when we were on their property, and having the opportunity to be married there was a blessing. We can’t say enough good things about this venue and the Lane family. WHEW, where to even start! Almost a year to the date since our small wedding and six months since our reception! Yes, you read that right! Covid really did us in and Murphy Lane took full care of us from start to finish! A little back story...our original wedding date was May 30th, 2020 and we all know that 2020 was not a great year to have weddings or big get togethers, so we rescheduled, hassle free and with minimal stress for January 2021. January came, and we conveniently tested positive for covid on the 6th, exactly 9 days before we are suppose to get married! I think I called Kara and Lea Ann scream crying because I just could not believe this was happening. They quickly came up with another plan for our wedding, which included getting married on our same day of January 16th, but outside at the venue with our parents and siblings only, and we rescheduled a covid free reception for July 2021. I am still in awe that we found not only a venue that we absolutely love, but also venue owners who love what they do and will bend over backward to make your day special. No matter the circumstances! Our *days* would not have been a success without Murphy Lane in our story! We love you guys!

The Venue at Murphy Lane was a dream come true venue. Kara and Hank literally put their blood, sweat, and tears in to making your day extra special, and boy do they deliver. Everything couldn't have been more perfect, and the venue couldn't have been more beautiful. Rain or shine, you'll easily love the rolling hills and beautiful venue space. We had Jessica and Andrew's wedding at The Venue at Murphy Lane in October 2021. They were the first venue that we visited when we started looking at venues and we fell in love with the place from the moment we entered the driveway. What a beautiful property! Hank and Kara are wonderful to deal with and very hands on with the whole process. Everything went seamlessly on Jessica and Andrew's wedding day. The weather was even perfect! Hands down the best wedding venue ever. We toured several venues at the beginning of the planning process and instantly knew Murphy Lane was the one after meeting with Kara and Hank. On top of being the sweetest people, they have so many options for ceremony spots/ wedding options and truly make the day what you want it to be. One thing that really stood out to me about the venue was all the decor they have on site that is available to use. It makes the whole process of planning table decor so much easier knowing you don’t have to hunt down a bunch of items. The team at Murphy Lane, including their wedding planner, Lea Ann, goes above and beyond to make your vision come to life. They are so knowledgeable about the wedding industry and work closely with other vendors to make you wedding day the best day ever.

No amount of words can explain how truly amazing Murphy Lane is. From the moment we stepped foot onto the beautifully acred property, my husband and I knew we wanted to start our forever here. The owners, Kara and Hank were such a joy to work with. I can honestly say that they felt like a part of our family. They will greet you with open arms and guide you through every detailed step of your planning and provide you comfort and support along the way. They were so accommodating with our needs. We had a Persian/American wedding, and Kara made sure my Persian culture came to life at the venue. She provided my family with so much support, respect, patience, and love. I couldn’t be more happy with the outcome. Kara and Hank also took time in understanding my Persian culture, which was so special to me. I couldn’t recommend this venue more to have your best day ever. I promise all you sweet newly engaged couples out there are going to rave about this place (as well as your guests) for years to come. Murphy Lane made our wedding day so magical! My husband and I only had 3 months to plan our wedding, and they did everything they possibly could to make street we had the wedding of our dreams!

The Venue at Murphy Lane gave us our dream wedding!! I cannot recommend The Venue at Murphy Lane enough! We had a very intimate wedding/elopement with only 2 guests, and the owners, Kara and Hank, helped make our day beyond perfect. Kara took care of so many little details throughout the day and Hank does an exceptional job making the property a beautiful background for photography. Not only is the venue and the property breathtaking, but the owners help out immensely with making your day everything you’ve dreamed of and more. Kara and Hank helped us every step of the way from things like recommending vendors to setting up the furniture and putting together all the little details and decorations while we got ready. After the wedding Kara recommended an acrylic flower preservation service which made it so we were able to keep our flowers forever. I cannot emphasize enough how The Venue at Murphy Lane took care of us. This made our wedding day feel so easy and stress free! My husband and I were actually able to spend time together and feel happy and in love instead of stressed and worried! Even after the wedding The Venue at Murphy Lane supported us and helped to make sure everything went the way we wanted! We had run into some issues with our photographers not providing us our photos, and Kara stepped in and was able to resolve this issue and our photos were then delivered to us without a big spectacle. Kara and Hank made before our wedding stress free, our wedding day perfect, and even made sure we were well taken care of afterwards. Kara and Hank, you gave us everything we could have ever wanted and more! If you want to have your dream wedding and actually be able to enjoy it, then I highly recommend The Venue at Murphy Lane!!!!

I do not know where to begin! My husband and I had a blast on our wedding day! Everyone warned us - “something is going to go wrong, expect it”. When I say the day was absolutely perfect, that is still under selling it! Kara and Hank worked around the clock since the day we decided to get married at their venue to make sure everything we wanted was part of our special day! My husband and I just had the most dreamy Spring wedding at Murphy Lane and I can not stop thinking about how perfect it was. The sweetest couple, Hank and Kara, own the venue and they took such good care of us and our loved ones throughout the entire day. I can be very type A, especially when it comes to planning so it’s hard for me to relax and count on people to get things done the way I want, but Hank and Kara went above and beyond to make sure everything we wanted was taken of. They also have an exclusive coordinator, Lea Ann, who is exceptional and kept the day running so smooth. I second guessed so many decisions throughout wedding planning, but whether I chose the perfect venue was never a question. What we loved most about the venue is how accessible and personal it was for us. We were able to visit multiple times during the planning process to discuss set up and decor and we even did our engagement photos on the property, which turned out amazing. We never felt rushed and we never felt like we were working with a business. The venue is on a beautiful 88 acres of private land with multiple ceremony locations and a beautiful barn with the most romantic chandelier. At Murphy Lane, it feels like you’re being taken care of by family and that experience is priceless.

I had been to this venue once before for a business luncheon. The venue itself is so dreamy and breathtaking that when we got engaged, I knew it was the first place I wanted to tour. I already loved Murphy Lane, but after meeting the owners, Kara and Hank, it really confirmed it. Kara and Hank are simply good people. It gives you comfort trusting them with your wedding knowing they will take the best care of you. Murphy Lane’s service and professionalism are unmatched. Not to mention they have multiple ceremony sites to fit your taste. You have indoor/ outdoor options and a barn that stands alone compared to other barns. The covered porch is perfect for cocktail hour and to watch the sunset. And the inside is so elegant and timeless. They also have onsite accommodations so your family or wedding party can stay at the venue for the weekend, which we definitely loved. I assure you there are no venue owners who will take better care of you than these two. Along with their great staff and vendor team, they bring everything together so your best day ever can be perfect!

My husband and I had a covid December wedding at Murphy Lane and it was AMAZING!! The venue is absolutely beautiful and well kept. Kara and Hank are the epitome of Southern hospitality. They truly made our wedding day come together so perfectly. We had our wedding outside on the porch under the grand chandeliers and the reception inside the barn. All of the guests LOVED the venue. Not only was the venue perfect but I couldn't have planned my wedding without Kara's help. She had a complete list of preferred vendors and always shared her expertise. Planning, postponing, re-planning, and hosting an out-of-state wedding during a global pandemic wasn't easy. Fortunately, I had the support of Kara and Hank and the Venue at Murphy Lane. Despite all of the chaos of 2020 we had a perfect day, in large part due to having chosen the perfect location!

There are no words to truly describe how incredible Murphy Lane is. The entire property is stunning and the reception venue is beautiful - the perfect blend of rustic charm and modern elements. We had so many compliments from our guests about the venue and the organization of the day. Plus, the owners Kara & Hank are some of the nicest, hard working people you will ever meet!

We felt so taken care of by the owners and our wedding planner. This year (2020) brought a lot of uncertainty but I never felt uncertain with my wedding dream team! They were with me through it all. You will never get this level of service any where else! My wedding day was beautiful beyond belief and I didn't have to lift a finger. As a bride I cannot say enough great things about Murphy Lane. My husband and I searched endlessly for wedding venues and our final tour was at Murphy Lane which was right in my hometown. The moment we pulled up I knew this place was something special. I am a southern/country girl at heart but also love the elegant features of this place. The design of the barn speaks for itself and is gorgeous. The landscape and fields are breathtaking as well. There are so many options for where to have the ceremony which is a great thing! And the bridal suite is a complete brides dream. With COVID-19 postponing our original wedding, Murphy Lane made sure that everything was so seamless and as "normal" as possible. The wedding day itself was absolutely PERFECT! It was such a relief not having to stress over anything. Lea Ann with Southern Flaire Events is a MUST! She made sure everything ran as it should and everyone knew what to do. It was so nice to be able to sit back and just enjoy the weekend that went by so so fast. We cannot thank Kara, Hank and Lea Ann enough for everything they did to make our wedding dreams come true. We love Murphy Lane!

The venue is beautiful and just what our daughter wanted. The owners were most helpful and kind. I was completely pleased with all aspects of the venue as well as the Cabin and Bear Cave Airbnb's on the property. We used both of them so the wedding party and the parents of the bride could stay very near the venue. If you want a venue in the general area of Newnan you must consider Hank and Kara's beautiful Venue at Murphy Lane.

My husband and i chose this venue because of how amazing everything was from the view, the barn, the on site cabin and the new beautifully built pavilion. Kara and hank always made sure we were taken care of and treated us like family. Kara and Hank at Murphy Lane were phenomenal! We could not have asked for a more sweet or helpful couple to make our wedding day and weekend so special! The property is so beautiful that we chose to stay at the Cabin (family and girls) and Bear Cave (guys) that weekend, having our friends and family with us made it all that much more fun! There were weather complications on the day of our wedding which changed the ceremony location three times. INCREDIBLE. From day one, meeting Kara and Hank, we knew that we found something special! The Venue is breathtaking - acres of picturesque landscape, a multitude of beautiful ceremony locations, and a barn so exquisitely designed it belongs in a magazine! Not only is the venue itself wonderful, but is created and managed by wonderful people. Kara, Hank, and the staff went beyond expectations throughout our entire wedding planning process. They made us a priority and ensured that our wedding day was absolutely perfect, even despite the deluge of rain!! With their help, our vision was executed flawlessly. We witnessed and heard from our guests how polite and attentive the staff was. To us, the excellent customer service truly elevated this entire experience. Trusting someone with your wedding day is a big deal, and they did not disappoint! Additionally, we were able to rent the log cabin on the property for our wedding party and guests - they loved it!! Murphy Lane is an absolutely beautiful venue not only because of the property itself but the people who you’d be working with. Hank and Kara are so sweet and beyond helpful. You won’t find another venue that adds that personal touch like they do. Kara is so mindful to the small details and I greatly appreciate that. They definitely helped bring our big day to life and our guests are still telling us about how much they loved the venue, it was just so easy that all 120 people can mingle and enjoy activities in the same area, and that’s being indoor AND outdoors! Some of our guests also mentioned how helpful and nice Hank and Kara were. It says a lot about how friendly and interactive they are when our guests come telling us about their encounters. Amazing is an understatement when you talk about The venue at Murphy Lane. When I first got engaged I knew what I was looking for in a venue. I looked at a few venues before this one and they didn’t fufill what I needed. Then a friend told me about Murphy Lane and I looked up pictures, I fell in love. Little did I know that pictures didn’t do it justice. This venue is absolutely amazing! There are tones of different atmospheres to have your ceremony and that’s what I loved about it and the fact that the barn is absolutely gorgeous. Also on top of that Kara and Hank are the most sweetest and genuine people I have ever met. They made you feel like royalty and that you were the most important thing to them. They love what they do and it shows 100%. 20 years from now my husband and I will be looking back at our special day still thanking Kara and Hank for all they did for us. Please choose this venue, you will be very satisfied.

The Venue at Murphy Lane is outstanding!! I got married on December 1st, 2018 and my husband and I are the first to get married out of our siblings, so we didn’t really know where to begin. We looked at some other venues in the area, but none of them compared to Murphy Lane. It is a beautiful space with gorgeous landscaping and scenery. My bridesmaids and I stayed in the cabin that is on the property the night before my wedding and it was so fun having all my girls in one place! Highly recommend! Since my wedding was in December, we didn’t know how the weather was going to be... but tents and outdoor heaters were available for us to rent and it worked out perfectly since it rained that day. Kara and Hank are the sweetest owners and were so easy to work with. They helped us out tremendously along the way because we’ve never planned a wedding before. The barn was decorated beautifully for Christmas and they new exactly how tables needed to be placed and where the best places for food, dancing, etc. should go and it was perfect! Overall, it was absolutely beautiful and I wouldn’t have changed a thing! The Venue at Murphy Lane is exceptional, along with Kara and Hank!

This is by far the most magical and special place to have a wedding. From the very first time we met Kara and Hank they were beyond kind and accommodating. The Venue at Murphy Lane is magical. It is by far the most beautiful venue I have ever seen. Being from Atlanta, the onsite accommodations made it more than just a day. We had a wedding weekend with all of our closest friends and family there to celebrate. The cabin is amazing and my husband and his groomsmen's loved staying there. The bear cave was perfect for me and my bridesmaids. Kara and Hank went above and beyond to make sure our day and weekend was nothing short of perfect! They are so lovely to work with and truly love this business and their brides! I would recommend Murphy Lane to anyone. My guest are still talking about how beautiful this venue and our day was! Our daughter’s wedding at Murphy’s Lane was a dream come true! Hank and Kara are a delight to work with and their in-house coordinator, LeaAnn, made our day run seamless. The venue itself is stunning. A beautiful, elegant barn with a wrap around patio made for the perfect reception. They have several beautiful ceremony sites and wonderful backup plans in case of inclement weather. The bridal suite is every brides dream come true and the beautiful log cabin made for an amazing weekend for the entire wedding party! We couldn’t have asked for a better wedding experience for our daughter. The day was absolutely perfect!

Literately the best venue and owners ever! Hank and Kara go above and beyond to make your big day extra special! From planning the event with you, to answering all the random questions along the way, to even helping with last minute details, they are involved and willing to help! They even gave us a really sweet gift basket after the wedding 😁 Seriously such a sweet couple. The property itself is GORGEOUS!!! The Venue at Murphy Lane and Kara and Hank are seriously a dream come true! We booked the venue before it was even finished in the summer of 2017. We trusted that Kara and Hank were going to make it this beautiful blank space to make your own and they went above and beyond. Murphy Lane isn't your typical "barn", it's truly an event venue. They give you this amazing space to create your dream event whether you want something rustic or southern elegant, they can accommodate it! Kara and Hank were so involved with our wedding and wanted to make sure everything was perfect they did just that. We wish we could relive the day over and over because they made it that amazing! They both truly care about the couple and their customer service makes all of the difference. We had so many of our guests ranting and raving about the venue and how wonderful it was! Best venue ever! First of all, Kara and Hank are the nicest people you will ever meet! They go above and beyond to make sure your big day is absolutely perfect. They are fairly new at the wedding business but you would think they've been doing it forever. The venue is not only beautiful but accommodating as well. Everything was so perfect and it truly was the best day of my life. Book them for your next event and I promise you will not be disappointed!

If I could give Kara and Hank a million stars, I would. There is nothing better than being taken care of on the most important day of your life. I will be forever grateful for the intense and personalized planning that went into my wedding day. Kara and Hank are so invested in each bride and you can see that in every event they have there. We booked with this venue when it was just a construction site. BEST DECISION EVER!!! Our vision aligned perfectly with Kara and Hank's and boy did they deliver. We had our groomsmen stay at the large cabin, and the bridesmaids stayed in the "Bear Cave" on the property. Our rehearsal dinner was held on the patio with the fields and sunset as the background. Every guest raved about how wonderful the staff was and how beautiful the scenery was. If you're still deciding on a venue, go visit this one. You will not be disappointed.

There are not enough words to describe this wonderful venue and Kara and Hank who own it. After searching what seemed like the entire state of GA for the best outdoor ceremony/indoor reception ( initially I wanted mountains), we drove though the lovely gates of this amazing pasture, down the long driveway, and to this peaceful place that feels like home away from home. Kara and Hank feel like long lost family as they greet you, and that feeling never fades throughout the entire planning process. In fact, we booked this venue prior to the barn being finished because they are just that amazing, detail oriented, and have already thought of everything that would make your wedding perfect. There are many options for ceremony site ( three outdoor sites - so far, and indoor/patio options as well), the barn is elegant, clean, and air conditioned. There is a barn full of antique tables, table numbers, candle holders, candles ( flameless), lounge furniture, and ceremony decor including church pews, arbors, barn doors, lanterns, ect. For us, just the pasture ceremony site outside was beautiful enough naturally to not need any of it except the lanterns for our wedding for 115 guests. It was hot for September, but we luckily had cloud cover for the ceremony so we weren't squinting in the sun. The cocktail hour was held under a tent on the patio with lights and fans to cool everyone off - Kara and Hank have cocktail tables and patio furniture for use - and then we had an indoor dinner buffet. The Venue has beautiful hand crafted farm tables so we used these and a mix of round tables to soften the look in the reception room and it looked gorgeous underneath the large chandelier; any "space" we had extra, Kara and Hank placed lounge furniture to make it cozy and elegant without us even asking. The string lights on the back patio made for the perfect dance spot and we had a magical exit with sparklers at the end of the night, and stayed in the bear cave on site. My family stayed on site in the cabin making everything very easy for taking supplies at the end of the night, and my two year old nieces loved watching the neighboring cows every morning. The cabin is a relaxing, beautiful place to stay, perfect to fit a lot of people if needed for larger bridal parties ( mine was just my two sisters so just my family stayed there). Kara and Hank did so much behind-the-scenes work both before and during my wedding. They noted and changed things that were not perfect, anticipated needs before we even asked, and as a result all I did was enjoy and relax on the wedding day. Despite being booked every weekend, they make you feel like you are the only ones getting married there and I cannot thank them enough for making this the BEST DAY for Michael and me!

WOW. I cannot say enough good things about the Venue at Murphy Lane. We were first impressed by its beauty, size (80 acres), versatility (multiple ceremony locations to choose from), and on-site lodging (16-person cabin and guest suite). But we were truly blown away by Hank and Kara, the couple that own the venue and run everything. They are a DREAM to work with. Detail oriented, kind, organized, enjoyable to be around, just all around wonderful people. We trusted them 100% with our wedding day. They KNOW what they are doing and will also recommend great vendors they've worked with before. They even gave us a little memory box after the wedding that included a piece of glass engraved with our names and wedding date. I HIGHLY recommend this venue.

Murphy Lane is an absolute DREAM venue! It was really love at first sight, from the gorgeous barn, beautiful field and landscaping. It’s the perfect mixture of rustic-elegance, exactly what I envisioned. From beginning to end Kara and Hank made sure that everything was perfect for our big day, down to the smallest detail. Such a sweet couple to work with, BEST DECISION!!!

I am writing this review as the MOB. My daughter, future son-in-law and wedding planner and I had visited several venues before coming to Murphy Lane and we had been unable to agree on any of them! I was on a timeline and wanted to get a venue booked as soon as possible but was getting frustrated because we could not seem to find "the perfect place" that matched the criteria that each of us had individually. Murphy Lane was the last place on our list and I was praying so hard that it was going to work. As we pulled up into that long, beautiful driveway we were blown away! The barn was still red and we were hesitant as we got out of the car to meet Hank and Kara for the first time. We were instantly welcomed and their hospitality was infectious! When Kara started showing us her plans for the future I could see my daughter's eyes light up and she began grinning from ear to ear! After this meeting we got back into the car and all of us immediately exclaimed "THIS IS IT!" Well, that was a year and three months ago and the wedding was two weeks ago. Hank and Kara did an amazing job of helping us plan, providing us with recommendations for vendors, and suggestions for the ultimate wedding experience. Even though we had a plan B for rain, 15 minutes prior to the ceremony we had to spontaneously think of a PLAN C! Their team worked to make it happen and the ceremony was only delayed by 10 minutes! As MOB I was looking for a full service venue that would allow me and my husband to enjoy the day along with our daughter and Murphy Lane definitely fulfilled that requirement. My daughter was looking for a venue that was classy, sophisticated and rustic all in one and Murphy Lane definitely met that requirement. It was a win/win all the way around! We look back on the experience in the pictures and we are able to enjoy it over and over again. Thank you Hank and Kara!

My husband and I had our wedding here 4/20/18. We visited their venue before construction had even begun! Though most people would have thought it was a risk to but a deposit on something not built, Kyle and I fell in love with Hank and Kara from the first meeting. Kara and Hank are two of the kindest and generous people you will meet and they will make sure your wedding is a fairytale. This venue is hands down the best venue in Newnan, Peachtree City and Fayetteville! I can say this with confidence since my husband and I are from the area. The venue is breathtaking and once you visit you will not want to leave. Murphy Lane blew our guest away that we are still receiving compliments. Our friends who live in the area were stunned that we found such a well kept secret, which it will not be for long!!! This venue, currently, hasn't been open a year but the service you will receive matches (if not beats) that of places like Fox Hall. If you are considering venues this one needs to be top priority to go see.

My husband and I were absolutely honored to be apart of The Venue at Murphy Lane family. I say that because Kara and Hank were absolutely wonderful and some of the nicest people we have ever met. There are not enough words to describe our perfect day. Our wedding was March 10, 2018 and there was not a care in the world that day. This staff is built upon excellence and highly recommend this beautiful venue to anyone who is looking to get married in a stress-free zone. There was nothing more wonderful to have gotten the opportunity to get married in "God's Country". Me and my husband wanted to be married in a place that was naturally beautiful and where the sky was the limit...literally... and this venue and staff gave us that. The diversity that this venue gave us without crazy restrictions made us feel that anything was possible and it definitely was. I am the type of person who strives for perfection and I can say that the staff here at Murphy Lane absolutely nailed it! They brought our vision to life making it truly the BEST.DAY.EVER! If you are considering a barn wedding with an urban chic feel, you need to look no further than this venue because they will give and do anything that you can ever imagine!

My husband and I recently had our wedding (ceremony and reception) at the Venue at Murphy Lane. We live in FL but knew we wanted it to be in GA for cooler weather and a more central location to where most of our guests were traveling from. The weather was perfect as was the location, our guests all told us how much they loved the area and venue. The barn was just a concept at the time of our booking but after meeting Hank and Kara, we had complete confidence that they and their plan would be perfect for us. We are so thankful we put our trust in them because they came through for us in every aspect we could imagine. We planned on having around 50 guests but by the wedding night our guest list was down around 30 (The smallest wedding at the venue at the time). Kara and Hank were able to adjust the venue to be perfect for our small group. They were very attentive to what we liked and disliked, and we had a say in everything. Kara was easy to reach when we needed help finding a vendor or wanted to talk through an idea for the wedding. Kara got us in contact with incredible vendors. We highly recommend staying on property for your wedding weekend, it was so convenient to be right there for setting up the venue and for when the reception was done. There are also plenty of options for hotels nearby for guests. We cannot say enough amazing things about this venue or the owners. Our wedding was so special and it's truly because of Kara and Hank for creating the most incredible venue and for being so attentive. We are recommending the Venue at Murphy Lane to all our friends and family, you can't go wrong.

We had our wedding at The Venue at Murphy Lane on November 4th and it was absolutely breathtaking!! My husband and I were the first ones to book this venue and loved seeing Kara and Hank's vision come to life and be even better than we could have ever imagined. We had our engagement photos done here, rehearsal dinner, and wedding/reception. From day one everything was perfect and Kara and Hank are the absolute nicest people you will ever meet! I would recommend this venue a thousand times over!

The Venue at Murphy Lane is truly a dream come true. My husband and I were honored to be their sixth official wedding and we could not have been more impressed. If you are looking for a venue that is absolutely gorgeous and whimsical, the Venue at Murphy Lane is it!! When arriving on the 88 acre property you are instantly memorized by the rolling hills aligned with the wooden fences that lead to many gems such as the cabin, main house, and the barn. We knew instantly that this was the place that we would like to get married at because of it being simply breathtaking. We wanted something that we both knew that we would enjoy as well as all our guests attending our wedding. When first meeting with Kara and Hank we could tell that they were passionate about making Murphy Lane into a place where peoples dreams could come true as well as theirs. We first booked the venue for our wedding back in March and saw the transformation of the barn from a red tin barn into a farmhouse feel. Kara and Hank made Murphy Lane into the most beautiful place I've ever seen. They are exceptional people that listen to all the details that you would like for your wedding and make them all come true. They both worked with me every step of the way with planning on the placement of tables, vendors, and helping decorate the venue just how I wanted it. They were very professional and very easy to work with over the past 9 months of planning leading up to our wedding. Each of them were very open to your opinion and always had a positive attitude. Our wedding couldn't have been as amazing as it was without the help of Kara and Hank, and the use of their amazing venue. We wish them all the best as well as all the other future couples that will be using this venue to come. Its an amazing venue located in the country, full of beautiful places to have a ceremony and reception, and is convenient to the Newnan area. Kara and Hank were absolutely outstanding and we could not be happier that we chose them and their venue for our wedding. They are extremely accommodating and willing to make any and every idea or vision we had come to life. They are so sweet and talented beyond belief. Our wedding exceeded our expectations thanks to Kara, Hank, and of course the stunning venue. Everything from the farm tables and chairs to the gorgeous chandelier and breathtaking views out of the windows made for an absolutely wonderful wedding day. Whatever we wanted, they made it happen. I worked with Kara and Hank as a photographer at their venue. They were super-friendly and so very helpful. The venue was spacious and beautiful. The perfect location for a romantic southern wedding. Kara and her team did an incredible job decorating and preparing an elegant southern chic look. I loved it so much in fact that I'm going back again for an engagement shoot.

If you're looking for a beautiful outdoor venue close to Atlanta, I highly recommend The Venue at Murphy Lane! We were fortunate enough to be the first wedding at this venue. Hank and Kara worked diligently (day and night) to make sure our day was perfect. Kara helped me plan and style the ceremony/reception decor for our whimsical, woodland wedding. We were able to turn my Pinterest board into reality! Wedding day were at the venue from sunrise to sunset. The ladies spent most of the day getting pampered (hair, makeup, mimosas) in the bridal suite, while the guys relaxed at the cabin. Pros: -Variety of sites on the property to have rehearsal dinner, ceremony, reception, etc. -Golf cart chauffeurs to drive guests and wedding party -Separate areas for guys and ladies to get ready -Barn FULL of decor for your event (tables, chairs, votives, vases, chalkboards, mirrors, etc.) -Most importantly, Hank and Kara are dedicated to you! Cons: -We got married BEFORE the big renovations -Too many places to take pictures (We almost missed the reception taking gorgeous photos around the property!)
