The Venue at Orchard View Farms

Let me start with stating my husband and I had to absolute best wedding experience all thanks to this amazing venue! I began my search for a venue a month after getting engaged in 2021, knowing all the covid brides were quickly booking for the 2022 season. I searched so many other wonderful venues in the surrounding area, but nothing truly beat The Venue at Orchard View Farms. We booked our tour with the owner Carol and instantly fell in love. She and her husband have created such a gorgeous atmosphere; as soon as we walked around the barn, I saw myself getting married under their arbor by the pond. We instantly booked the venue the day we toured, which was also the very first venue tour we went to! There aren’t enough words to express how beautiful this venue is and with the package offered… this venue is absolutely amazing! Carol and her husband Kevin kept adding new aspects of the venue to enhance its beauty throughout the time planning our wedding. Kevin and Jackie, the venue’s personal DJ and day-of coordinator are also so amazing to work with! The staff here really take you into consideration to make your day feel so special, and on the day before and day of, they really felt like a family to us. We also worked with Bre, another day-of coordinator, and she was equally amazing as everyone else, keeping everyone on their specific tasks which helped me honestly relax the morning-of. Overall, Carol reached out to me throughout the time prior to our wedding and answered all the questions I had about her property, what we could bring, who we could book and what she typically saw couples do at the venue. If you want plenty of time to set things up, my husband and I were able to relax and enjoy ourselves as we had all Friday to decorate and set things up for our wedding on Saturday. I really cannot say enough amazing things about this venue and experience, it really was amazing. Our wedding day was absolutely perfect, we had a blast getting ready, all our guests said the venue was so gorgeous and many looked blown away which you don’t see too often! We had the fall wedding of our dreams and I am so happy we booked The Venue at Orchard View Farms. We thank you Carol and team for everything and we cannot wait to see your venue grow!

Such a beautiful venue! We had the perfect wedding day in April 2022. Carol and Kevin were awesome throughout the entire process. It made it so much easier on us that the venue provided tables, chairs, place settings, and more. Don't let the distance from Farmville scare you. We didn't end up using transportation services and none of our guests seemed to have an issue with the distance. If you are looking for a peaceful location and a stress free day, this is the venue for you!

The Venue at Orchard View Farms is absolutely gorgeous and a wonderful location to get married! Carol and her husband do a fantastic job keeping the venue beautiful and clean but are also great at quickly answering any question I had through the planning process! I would highly recommend this venue for anyones big day as the pictures can speak for themselves on how gorgeous it is! The reason I am giving 4 stars instead of 5 is because I wasn’t made aware of another wedding happening the next day until the morning of my wedding. The reason this became a little bit of an issue is because cleaning up was required much earlier than what was in the contract (they only typically do one wedding a weekend so you have until 10am on Sunday to clean up). We were required to get the dressing rooms cleaned up the night of the wedding and they started cleaning the inside of the barn while we still had all of our guests there (around 9-9:30 so not late at night). In addition, Jackie, the day-of-coordinator, and Kevin, the DJ, come with the venue as a package deal and although they were fantastic to work with during the planning process and so nice day of, we did have a few issues on the wedding day. My mom and I (mostly my mom) ended up working with the vendors day of to get everything situated. Although I appreciate an on time schedule, I do wish there would have been flexibility given throughout the entire evening as well. The music at the beginning of the wedding was perfect but during the reception, I do wish more music that I had requested would have been played (I.e. party music and not just the basic songs and slow dances). Although it was an accident, my husband and I’s first dance song was incorrect as well. With saying all of that, our wedding was absolutely wonderful and partly because my husband and I were so happy on our wedding day that we ignored all of the little issues that came up and just had a great time with all of our friends and family. All of the love, laughter and fun we had made sure no one else noticed any of the small issues throughout the night either which is really all we could ask for. It’s not a great wedding unless it’s imperfectly perfect :)

In 3500 characters, it is difficult to describe a venue as perfect as The Venue at Orchard View Farms. I searched far and wide for a venue that was clean, simple and affordable. The Venue at Orchard View Farms was just that. The venue is beautiful and unique. It offers so many unique settings for photos and memories to be made. I booked this venue in 2019 (pre-COVID), one year after their opening. Since then, I have seen this venue evolve, detail by detail, into a beautiful setting for the perfect day. The venue will speak for itself if you take the opportunity to visit. What you may not know is that with the venue you get Carol. Carol owns the venue with her husband and is the unspoken angel of weddings. Carol is the reason I was able to breathe on my wedding day. She is phenomenal! I did not have to question if something was done or if something was out of place. She kept everything moving and was a godsend on our day. I could not have asked for a better wedding coordinator. Even my bridesmaids and family expressed their gratitude for her after the wedding because she was so incredible. Speaking as a person who is very Type A, Carol carried the confidence and knowledge that allowed me to pass the torch and she did not falter. She appeared intermittently, putting out fires as she went. Now, as a COVID bride, wedding planning and postponement was beyond stressful. BUT, Carol was amazing. She worked with my husband and I to move the date and she even offered the option of a ceremony on our original date at no additional cost. She continued to provide support and encouragement for a stressed out bride for the duration of the ups and downs of wedding planning during the pandemic. I could not imagine going through this with any other vendor. If you are looking for the perfect location and overall experience for your wedding, look no further than The Venue at Orchard View Farms! Our wedding day was nothing short of perfection. We absolutely loved working with them and we hope to utilize this venue in the future for other events and Anniversary photos!!
