The Venue at River's Edge is a stylish wedding venue situated in Waterloo, Wisconsin. This historic building was originally constructed in 1926 and has since hosted countless community events. Bought by the current owners in 2017, this nearly century-old building has been renovated and refurbished. Today, this is a modern environment that maintains the character and charm of the jazz age. Here, you and your sweetheart can join with your own community of family and friends to celebrate your milestone day. The spacious indoor area can be tailored to suit your style, while the views outdoors offer a serene backdrop to photos, as well as a breath of fresh air throughout the day. Welcome up to 250 loved ones to join you on your special day. This retired community hall and theatre has had a breath of fresh air blown into it, with bright wooden flooring, neutral-toned walls, and high ceilings showcasing the original coving and pillar-end details. An opulent chandelier hangs from the ceiling, creating a dazzling feature in this otherwise minimalist space. The venue's decadent bar is made of rich wood with ornate detailing, fitting beautifully into the hall. You can enjoy every part of your wedding celebration in this venue, basking in the natural light flooding in from the large windows. Finally, The Venue at River's Edge has a get-ready suite perfect for those last-minute preparations while your guests avail of the onsite parking this wheelchair-accessible venue provides. The team here is dedicated to ensuring yours is the day you have always dreamed of. Tables, chairs, and sound and lighting equipment will be provided in-house, along with a dance floor. Bar services will be taken care of by the team that can operate a cash or open bar serving wines, beers, liquors, and a signature drink. We just had our wedding here on 11/2/24. It is absolutely gorgeous and I highly recommend it. Brandon was amazing to work with. He was very responsive and was very flexible with meeting our needs. We got so many compliments on the venue the day of our wedding. Couldn’t have asked for better place to hold our wedding. Thank you Brandon for everything.

The Venue at River's Edge is truly one of the area's hidden gems! I couldn't agree more with Laura—this place is a fantastic choice for any couple looking for a memorable setting. Brandon and Lee Columbus are not just exceptional hosts; they are genuinely wonderful people who go above and beyond to make your experience unforgettable. The tasteful restoration of this stunning building is nothing short of breathtaking. Every detail reflects their passion and commitment to preserving its charm while creating a warm, inviting atmosphere. What’s more, Brandon and Lee are dedicated community members who give back to the town in meaningful ways. I've had the pleasure of attending a beautiful wedding here, as well as a captivating Ghost Hunting program with the library, and both events left a lasting impression. We got married here last weekend and from start to finish had a great experience. Brandon was great with prompt and clear communication and always flexible to meet our needs. The very reasonable rate included day before set up and day after take down so we could focus on enjoying our day. Highly recommend!!

My husband and I just had our celebration of vows two days ago, after having to reschedule 6 months ago due to covid. Lee and Brandon were very helpful with rescheduling. Any time I had a question, or wanted to look at something at the venue, they were always in contact right away. We had both the ceremony and reception here. It worked out so well because our guests went downstairs in-between the ceremony and reception so that they could set up for the dinner. Plus it is in the heart of downtown - close to bars, the bowling alley, and the ice cream shop so guests and the wedding party, could walk to them like we did. The first time I walked into this building I fell in love. It is absolutely beautiful! The chandelier is stunning! There is so much history in the building, and it was a big conversation piece at our reception with family who had been there years ago. Everything went above and beyond what we had hoped for our special day, and I am so excited to get our pictures back! 100% recommend The Venue On Rivers Edge to anyone with an upcoming wedding or event!

The best kept secret around. Seriously could not have asked for a better venue or staff to work with! Not to mention it is absolutely gorgeous we had nothing but the best experience with the team. They are extremely accommodating, work with you on your important details and truly help make your day fabulous. I had several guest tell me just how wonderful their staff was and how much they appreciate how friendly everyone was. The venue itself is beautiful and needs minimal decoration, the architecture speaks for itself. Our wedding there was an absolute dream come true.

My husband and I were thrilled with our experience with Lee & Brandon at River's Edge. Not only did our wedding go off without a hitch, they were a true pleasure to work with and get to know. They were extremely accommodating, going above and beyond to make sure we had everything we needed. When I emailed the week of our wedding to see if I could stop in to drop off some decorations a few days early, they made themselves available. When the night of our rehearsal dinner our original plans fell through, they came to our rescue and opened their doors for us to have a last minute rehearsal & bring our food into their space. We were one of the many couples that had to reschedule during COVID19, and they graciously accommodated. When the date finally arrived, they supported all of our needs with spaced out tables, masks and lots of hand sanitizer! They answered my many emails, which increased as the date grew closer, and were always quick to reply. Not only was the experience wonderful, but the venue is beautifully renovated. We received so many compliments from our guests on how beautiful the space was and how smoothly everything ran. I am so happy we decided to have our wedding at The Venue at River's Edge. It was everything we hoped for and more. Lee & Brandon- thanks again for everything, it was wonderful!
