The Venue, which opened in the summer of 2015 after a meticulous renovation, is the perfect spot for your upcoming wedding. This charming Second Empire style building was originally built in 1870 and is located in the heart of historic downtown Janesville. Careful attention has been given to restore the elaborate woodwork in the space and the result is a unique and intimate setting for wedding ceremonies, wedding receptions, bridal showers, engagement parties, rehearsal dinners, corporate and special events. This captivating space features balcony seating, original stained glass, hardwood floors and built in bar area. Space rental includes tables, chairs, and bartenders. It features three unique rooms to suit your needs for events ranging from 10-350 people as well as outdoor balconies.

Beautiful space! Amazing coordinator! Cannot beat the price! 10/10!
We held both our ceremony and reception at The Venue and everything was perfect! Teryn is amazing at communication and answering every question that comes up. Claudine was our day of coordinator and she was amazing! So helpful and on top of everything. The flip from ceremony to reception was seamless, I loved that we had space to get ready there day of and of course the whole venue is just stunning.

Natalie from The Venue was absolutely wonderful at helping make sure that everything went smoothly for our reception. She was very responsive throughout the entire process. Our guests were amazed at the beauty and character of The Venue. On our wedding day, we had a few friends designated to help switch on the lights and light the candles on our centerpieces, when they arrived there was the pleasant surprise that all of it had already been done by The Venue staff. By far the best reception venue in Janesville!
Our wedding day was PERFECT! The Venue was an awesome facility. We had our ceremony and reception there, and the staff did an amazing job transitioning. The facility was beautiful, and Natalie was extremely helpful in making sure everything for our day was the way we wanted it. It was large enough to house our 125 guests while still feeling cozy and intimate. Beautiful location right by the river. Highly recommend!
This beautiful historic building will take your breath away. The stained glass windows and architecture make it a wonderful backdrop for photos. The staff at the Venue were amazing to work with! They were great with communication and were always available to answer questions and help find creative solutions. We loved our experience and our guests all loved the building. Take a tour to really appreciate all The Venue has to offer, you will not regret it :)
Our venue was amazing! So beautiful and so easy to work with Andy and his wife! We couldn't ask for a better place to have our reception. We were able to get in a week before our wedding to start decorating which took a ton of stress away. Would definitely recommend the Venue in Terre Haute!
The BEST place in Janesville to hold a wedding reception! My husband and I were so pleased with the level of professionalism of the staff as well as how helpful they were with the planning of the reception night. The architecture of the building is unique, and what sealed the deal for us was that the main ballroom was two floors (the second floor being open to the floor below). Our guests were blown away with how beautiful the building looked. If you want a reception venue that isn't the boring old run of the mill convention center room, The Venue is the place to choose!

Such a beautiful, historical venue
The Venue is a stunning location for a wedding. When I saw the space for the first time, I knew I had to have my wedding there. Where else can you get married in a place that looks like a church without it actually being a church? The renovations made the space so accommodating with the brand new elevator and beautiful bathrooms. Our guests really loved the outdoor balconies as well for an opportunity for some fresh air.
