Julie was amazing to work with! I did an all inclusive package with her and she met and exceeded my expectations!! She did my florals and they were beautifully done! She took a lot of the stress out of my planning process - I basically handed her my Pinterest board and said go with it! I would recommend this venue to anyone, she and her husband work very hard to make everyone’s wedding dreams a reality. Our wedding at Bellavita Farms was absolutely wonderful! The wedding tree overlooking the pond is so beautiful and the reception barn is so pretty as is with all of the drapes and twinkle lights that we didn’t really have to do a whole lot of extra decorating. Very reasonably priced compare to some of the others we had found. The owners are very nice and helpful. Julie did an amazing job on my flowers also. The bartender was also amazing! Highly recommend Bellavita Farms!!

We had our wedding at Bellavita Farms in March and it was wonderful! Very beautiful setting with the pond and trees. The owner Julie was very nice and helpful, as was all of the staff that worked our wedding. Also very reasonably priced compared to other venues we looked at in the area. Highly recommend!

Our wedding was absolutely amazing!! The venue is perfect if you’re wanting an outside ceremony and an indoor reception. The ceremony site under the huge pecan tree shades your guests from the sun and the draping inside the venue is gorgeous. All of the staff was very nice and helpful. Julie did all of my florals too and they were exactly what I wanted and gorgeous! Thank you again for hosting our wedding!

We had our wedding on new year’s eve and julie was absolutely amazing! I was blown away first by the beauty of the venue but also the kindness of julie! They were so accommodating with our multiple venue changes and we certainly weren’t an easy couple to work with. The decorations are fantastic and she even has little extra things you can use. It rained on my day and I went back and forth on whether or not I still wanted the ceremony outside or not but julie and her husband helped every step of the way! 100% recommend this venue!

Beautiful venue! We loved our wedding at Bellavita Farms. Owners are very nice and helpful. Their pricing was very reasonable and transparent which made it easy for us to stay on budget. The outdoor ceremony site is gorgeous and so peaceful with the huge tree, pond and horses. Their inside area is beautiful too with all the draping and twinkle lights. Julie did our florals too and they were gorgeous. We and our guests loved the fireworks!!

Our grandson got married at this wonderful place. He's a Marine Corps helicopter pilot so he and Joel clicked immediately. We actually had to reschedule due to our grandsons deployment but luckily we had purchased wedding insurance, which the owners strongly encouraged us to do being as he is in the Marines and they have seen it happen to military members in the past. We raised our grandson since he was 7 so we are basically his parents and the wedding was our gift to them. We live in northern Washington state so most of our planning was via email and phone with Julie and she took care of pretty much everything for us or steered us in the right direction. We enjoyed the peace an quiet of the setting very much. Theirs was basically a family reunion where a wedding occurred since we are spread all over the U.S. and the serenity made it great visiting with family while sitting outside watching the horses play in the water. I could go on and on about how great it was. Thanks to Bellavita Farms for making this all happen so smoothly !!

Bellavita Farms helped us make lemonade out of lemons during and after the Covid shut down. We originally had a wedding date selected and planned, a special date to us personally, and then Covid hit. We reached out to Julie early on and she said they were still trying to make sense of the governments rules concerning weddings. Once things sort of got settled out we had the option of waiting till after the lockdown for a wedding and reception or she offered us the ability to have a small wedding and reception on our special day to be followed at some point after shutdowns with a full reception. We decided to have a small family wedding and small reception on our special day and it was wonderful !! Once the rules lifted Julie reached out to us to figure out the future plans. She said some couples that had gotten married were doing a "mock" ceremony just as normal followed by a reception. We opted to just have a fun reception/party without any of the stresses of a wedding. We rolled with it, and so did Bellavita, and went from a somewhat lavish wedding to our alternate plan. We were so happy that Bellavita Farms survived the shutdowns, our original caterer we had selected didn't, and Julie suggested Babes Chicken due to the vibe we were after and it was awesome !! Our out of town guests loved it !! Even though everyone had more than enough to eat there was a ton of food left over. We asked the owners what to do and they said to leave in refrigerator and they take the leftovers to some older people in town which we thought was a wonderful use of it and very thoughtful of them !! We are so thankful we booked this venue, we had friends in a different state and they had zero communication from their venue during the shutdown. My daughter recently got married at Bellavita farms and we are beyond happy over the event. Theirs was a short notice, 2 months, wedding and we were absolutely clueless about planning a wedding. Julie was amazing and planned everything for us and put together a wonderful package. Chef Jason was fantastic and the fajitas were off the charts !! The 2 helper boys were non stop and even returned on Sunday to help us pack up all our decorations. The flowers and DJ were exactly what they wanted and he knew all the wedding games they like to play. The money saved on the venue rental more than covered our catering cost. The photographer was late but we didn't use one of their preferred but a recommendation by our daughters friend, mistake made there......with the owners putting a package together it was extremely stress free and allowed us to enjoy ourselves and their beautiful property and horses !! Oh, and Julies husband setting off the fireworks was so much fun and added that much more to the whole night !! Nancy

Venue with the purchase of the full package including florals, centerpieces, bartender, security, wait staff, cake, DOC, DJ and dinner of our choice: Bellavita Farms - Sorry in advance for the long review. When we first found bellavita we were instantly blown away by the beauty, the elegance, the price and the package options. It was exactly what I was looking for. I saw “stress free” written on the wall. It was a easy choice. Little did we know it would be a roller coaster of emotions then on. I think the easiest way to do this would be breaking it down with pros and cons. Pros: - The venue itself is absolutely stunning. Very clean and large enough where we were able to social distance easily with a small wedding of 80 ppl. - The florals and centerpieces were exactly what I wanted. I sent pictures and they were perfect. - The owner, Julie, was flexible. We asked if we could do a shot toast and if our dogs can be included in the wedding and we got the okay for both. - When it came to the cake, event coordinator, and the DJ the names were simply given to me. She made sure they were all paid as a part of my package and was stress free. - We were able to clean up after our wedding the next day since there wasn’t a wedding after us and that was super helpful. Although, I think this was a kind gesture in response to her husbands outlandish actions that we had to deal with. Read more under cons list. Cons: - Poor communication: After paying for the venue, it seems like we were put on the back burner. I can’t remember how many times I tried to text or call and would simply get no response. I think I heard every excuse in the book. Overall, I was simply just disappointed in the lack of attention - Although my flowers were beautiful, it was pretty disappointing that they weren’t ready until hours before my wedding started. I had plans to get my bridal pictures taken before the ceremony but had limited options since my florals weren’t completely finished throughout the venue - When it came to the rehearsal we were told that we would have access to the venue starting at 4o’clock on the day before. I do understand that this was out of courtesy but it was pretty embarrassing when my bridal party was there at 6:30, in 30° weather, and were not able to enter into the venue because the wax on the floors was not dry.We had plans to start bringing in some decorations and valuables but we were told to leave them outside. Thankfully, my day-of-coordinator didn’t agree with that and convinced the owners to let us put our valuables in the kitchen area over night. Sadly, that couldn’t come easy as the venue owner’s drunken husband griped and moaned at us the entire time. This was the start of our misery with the husband. - To continue about the venue owners husband. On the day of our wedding, as my dogs arrived my MOH over heard him say loud enough for everyone to hear that if our dogs didn’t stay on the leash he would SHOOT them. As you can imagine, I was outraged by his comments and my husband had to handle the situation minutes before our ceremony started. After a stern talk with my husband he made sure to steer clear of us for the rest of the evening. Sadly, that didn’t include our bar. My father caught him taking advantage of our beer selection which I would’ve been OK with if he had asked. It got so bad to the point that my father at the end of the night felt like we had to remove the alcohol off the premises so he wouldn’t continue drinking it.

Beautiful venue with reasonable pricing! We booked at package with them and were able to have the wedding we wanted, all while staying within our budget!! Owners and staff are super nice and helpful.

We couldn’t have asked for a more beautiful venue for our wedding! We had to reschedule our wedding due to covid and Julie made the whole process easy and stress free for us! The ceremony area under the wedding tree and overlooking the pond with horses is simply breathtaking! We got to take pictures with one of them and she even had her pretty horse jewelry on! The reception barn is beautiful and the overhead drapes give it a very romantic feel inside. Julie also did all of our florals - they were absolutely gorgeous!! All of their staff was also very friendly and helpful. Thank you again for our perfect wedding day!

I am a wedding planner and general manager of a private country club who has worked with brides and vendors for over 24 years. I can tell you that as the father of the bride, I could not be more pleased. The venue was beautiful, clean and ready for our arrival. The bridal and groomsmen suites were incredible and the owners were there for our questions whenever asked. Above and beyond my expectations! Any bride would silly to pass this gem by.

Dalton and I had a fabulous wedding at Bellavita Farms. What drew us to this location is the reception haul with the white dropping drapes from the ceiling in the barn and the outdoor ceremony are with the pecan tree/ wood arch that Joel made. The ceremony outside was so romantic/ peaceful and everything I could have wished for. They had horses there also that we got to take up close and personal photos with Betty. It was a dream and so glad I got to do that on my wedding day! we had some issues with communication so make sure you are on top of that so you do not get confused. Also, read the contract because there might be some hidden cost I was not aware of (because I did not read). The bridal suite was brand new and beautiful space to get your hair/ makeup done. My favorite part was when Joel shot off fireworks and Dalton and I had a quiet moment to soak in the day. Venue is 30 min away from Gainesville, but was not too bad of a drive. The country side drive was really refreshing! Be careful with Uber because I had guest order Ubers and they did not show up. Not sure if it was user error or something else, but keep that in mind. Julie helped me out with table linens, finding a hair dresser and other wedding decor items. Julie was so nice and I appreciate her going out of her way to help me. Thank you Julie and Joel for making our day so special! We appreciate all your hard work! Also, your son (bartender) was wonderful too. Guest commented on how he was easy going and friendly.

Our wedding at Bellavita Farms was AMAZING! All of our guests commented on how beautiful the venue was and the owners and staff make you feel like family. We didn't have much time to plan our wedding (less than 90 days!), so Julie did a customized package for us that included everything! The floral arrangements she did inside and out were absolutely stunning!! They even brought a horse down for photos with us and our guests. Joel and Julie went above and beyond to make our wedding everything we dreamed it would be!

I can not say enough good things about this or the amazing people who run it. Julie and Joel made us feel right at home from the moment we toured the venue. Their pride in ownership shows in everything they do, they were helpful in vendor suggestions, planning, and busted their buts with execution. We had the most beautiful wedding on their property. I planned my wedding myself in 5 months and having a venue like Bellavita Farms took so much stress and worry off of my plate. I am eternally grateful for this couple and this property.

Our wedding day was exactly how we envisioned it and couldn’t have picked a better venue than Bellavita Farms!!

Joel and Julie were absolutely amazing!! We could not have done our wedding without them. They are some of the nicest, most genuine people that I have ever met. They went ABOVE AND BEYOND what is expected and made sure that our big day was perfect. Hands down, they are the best venue and I am so thankful that we chose them! Their venue is absolutely gorgeous and we received countless compliments on it. It truly is one of a kind! Not only is the venue gorgeous, but the horses and the land around it make it absolutely breathtaking! Joel and Julie’s sweet demeanor is what makes it the perfect place to have your wedding!!

We had a wonderful experience. The venue and owners were amazing. We couldn't have asked for a more picturesque setting for our wedding from the beautiful pond and ceremony site to the oh so romantic reception barn. The lighting and elegant draping were perfect. We really appreciated the early setup on Friday policy. Made for a stress free day. The owners, Julie and Joel, were wonderful through the whole process. Thank you so much for everything. This venue is amazing. I've done 2 weddings here as a DJ, and it has been a great experience both times. Lovely setting with a pond and horses. She even allows the bride and groom to get pics with a beautiful, well-groomed horse! There has also been fireworks out here during receptions, which was a nice, unique touch. There are separate suites for groom and bride. The facility is fairly new, and very nice... the reception hall floors are so clean and shiny with a coat of wax, you can almost see your reflection in them! It is definitely worth the trip out to Bellavita Farms to check out.

The owners at Bellavita Farms created an absolutely magical experience for everyone at the wedding I was involved in. They went out of their way to be personally invested in the wedding and outcome of the couple's big day. Julie and Joel truly created a little slice of heaven where all the guests slowed down their busy lives to really enjoy the day and festivities involved. My favorite part of the day was when Joel gathered the smaller children from the wedding to feed the fish in the pond. Next thing you know, half of the guests had crossed the fence and were feeding the fish, petting the horses, hearing stories about the animals... all during a beautiful sunset. It was just a wonderful experience all around!!

Outdoor Ceremony Setting: You cannot beat the scenery on Bellavita Farms! Big beautiful pecan trees, horses, sunsets over the pond. Away from city sounds yet still close enough for convenience for your guests. Reception Hall: Stunning lighting, beautiful touches with decor. Rustic elegance at its finest. Versatile layout with lots of options for how to arrange tables/chairs, photo booth, catering, DJ, etc. Big beautiful windows to overlook the pond! Side entrance off kitchen for caterers. Owners: Absolutely incredible! Always helpful and eager to answer questions. Helped with details and even helped put me in contact with other brides who might be selling items I needed. Set up the bartender and security for me. They made it VERY easy to plan and execute everything. On site day of for last minute questions and help. There is something so serene and beautiful about the sun setting over the lake with the horses grazing nearby, that just makes any event special! I couldn't have asked for a better venue to host my wedding reception! Joel and Julie were a huge help before the wedding by answering any questions I could think of via email and text message, and during our wedding. They provided cedar slices for my centerpieces, everything we needed for a S More's bar, they set up all the tables and chairs and were there helping us set up for the reception. They provided lawn games for our guests to enjoy, and the view on the property is just beautiful. Our guests loved seeing the horses on the property and being able to spend time outdoors. It couldn't be a more perfect venue and Joel and Julie work so hard to help with anything you need!

I don’t even know where to start! Julie is awesome! Not only is the venue stunning, Julie is so helpful. I did not have a wedding planner but Julie helped me with get a photographer, where to get table clothes and stuff like that! I was suppose to have a bar tender at the wedding as well and he did not show, Julie did not hesitate to start serving the drink. I highly recommend this venue to anyone! It’s beautiful!!!!!
