The Views at Sunset Ridge

There are not enough words to explain our joy with picking Views at Sunset Ridge. The venue is beyond beautiful. I have gotten so much feedback from guests that stated they have never seen a more perfect venue. The entire venue was decorated with Christmas trees and made it the perfect place for a Christmas wedding. The venue is set up perfectly to have the night flow easily. Having a separate area for reception and dinner was amazing. Not to mention, the views during dinner were breathtaking. Along with that, the food was delicious. Everyone working there was so kind and truly made my husband and me feel top priority. Ashley (day of) really took my vision with decor and made It come to life. It was more magical than I could have ever imagined. I also want to add, while browsing other locations this was one of the only places as elegant and gorgeous, that was more in my price range. You will NOT regret booking this venue.

The views at sunset ridge went above and beyond for our wedding. They accommodated our traditional Hindu ceremony and all the various traditions with full flexibility. We really felt like we were in great hands on our wedding day. The staff was extremely professional and helped keep the day on track. We can't say enough about how great they were toward us. We would highly recommend them to anyone. The icing on the cake, beyond the staff, is the views from this location. The incredible photos with mountains in the background came out stunning. Book this venue now if you can!

The two things that set the Views at Sunset Ridge apart from all the other wedding venues in the area are the owners and the view. From the start, the interactions I had with the owners were simple and familiar. A family owns and runs this venue and it’s obvious that, to them, this is more than just a place they rent out for weddings. Comparable pricing in the area left you with a 1-room venue that perhaps included some plastic tables and chairs and a few leftover decor items. With TVASR the price included 3 floors (all that flipping a single room mess begone), several outdoor ceremony locations, staff for parking, a “decor closet” (but what is actually a very large room with enough decor to beautify 3 different wedding styles), an unmatched bridal suite, a groom’s room topped off with a bar and pool table, beautiful hand-made wooden tables with wooden chairs (that don’t need any chair covers), not to mention draping. They also offer MULTIPLE colors of linens, MULTIPLE plate options, MULTIPLE types of glassware/silverware…need I go on? Despite all that they offered there were no sneaky fees popping out of the fine print…because that’s not what this family is about. They care and, I frankly think, take pride in the weddings that take place at their venue. The in-house chef provided us with one of the best tastings we’ve ever had. We were wanting something off-menu and the chef seemed to really enjoy the challenge. He surpassed our expectations with his creativity and the options he presented us during the meal (the sun-dried tomato pimento cheese he created for us is still something I find myself thinking of). We were in love with their venue. We never missed an open house, even after signing the contract, just because we so thoroughly enjoyed the interaction with the owners…and the view. From the moment I set foot on the top floor, with the panoramic windows that provided a sight that rivaled that of Rock City, I knew I wanted a sunset dinner for our guests. Nothing else could match it. TVASR offers a venue that is romantic and breathtaking all in the same space. It is something that is completely unrivaled. It is everything that could be hoped for. Unfortunately, a year into our two-year wedding planning process, our wedding plans shifted. We found ourselves needing a micro-wedding verging on elopement which left us with no other choice than to change our venue. Even with that news, the owners never ceased to surprise us with their flexibility and empathy. They understood that this was a loss of my partner and I’s dream wedding and their response felt like that of a friend. They did not first and foremost remind us about contracts or fees. They were sympathetic and understanding. And, even though our wedding now looks much different than we planned, we still hope to one day have an anniversary sunset party on that top floor. Long review made short, I could not recommend this venue, and family, more. If you are curious, follow them on FB and visit their website to subscribe to their email announcements. They don't go long in between open houses and a visit will be all you need to fall in love. If you are looking for an easy-going, romantic, absolutely perfect venue…The Views at Sunset Ridge is positively it.

We just had our wedding here on May 30th,2021 and it was absolutely wonderful. From the stunning views to Ashley catering to our EVERY need-the day was flawless. We had originally scheduled our wedding for May 24th, 2020 but had to postpone due to COVID. During that time, Ashley and Leslie were incredibly understanding of the circumstances and immediately helped us to rebook for the next year with no penalties. There were SEVERAL emails sent back and forth as you can imagine and I will say that the responses may not have been immediate but they were always answered. I found the best way to get ahold of them is to call Ashley- she picked up every single time and was able to answer my questions instantly so it was a much more efficient way of communicating rather than to email. In addition, I had hired lots of different vendors which began to get complicated as I was making myself the middle man between the vendor and the venue- don't do this. As soon as I told Ashley things were getting too chaotic doing this, she was very receptive to having the vendors just contact her so that she could answer all questions. This served to be a huge relief for me! I have seen a few reviews about the elevator and will say that we had an instance where we had problems with it (due to too many people on it at once) BUT that was a risk we took- as we had our cocktail hour on the second floor and dinner on the third while the reception was on the first when we knew we would have guests who would not be able to use the stairs. I can not praise Ashley enough for how amazing she was on the wedding day. She was incredibly accommodating, listened to any changes I wanted to make on a whim, and was constantly checking in, not to mention she remained to calm the entire time! To any brides- the best way to reach her on the day of is via phone cause hello- she is running around all over the place!! This venue could not be more stunning and the management could not have been more accommodating to us. THANK YOU!!!

The first time we toured the venue, my husband & I fell in love with the views! On our wedding day, the staff was so helpful, and made everything go smoothly as guest came to the venue. They have been a huge help with decorations, setting up, send offs, and so much more! My husband and I were able to relax and enjoy our day!

You will not regret choosing The Views at Sunset Ridge! I had been looking at their beautiful venue online for a while before we finally went for a tour. Meeting Ashley, Leslie, and Allen sealed the deal! They put our needs and dreams first. Their venue comes with access to a decorating room filled with just almost everything you will need! This can really help a tight decorating budget. Their staff carried themselves professionally and friendly throughout the entire process. We also recommend looking into their on-site catering! Not only was the food delicious, but it helped the whole night run smoothly since it was being prepared and served by their staff. BONUS: we were able to use their dinnerware, which they completely setup and decorated according to Covid guidelines. We could not have asked for a smoother wedding ceremony and reception. They flipped the downstairs room from an elegant ceremony room to a dance floor while we ate dinner upstairs. So much fun! My daughter was supposed to have gotten married in May 2020 but because of the pandemic she got married in August of 2020. They were very helpful during the pandemic wedding planning. We had to change many things to make our guest feel safe to come to the wedding. The venue was beautiful and amazing. They made it very easy to plan a wedding. They were available anytime and the ideas they had to decorate the venue were very helpful. On the day of the wedding they took all the dress off of us. They made sure the day flowed well. We had issues with an outside caterer and they stepped in at the last minute and made it perfect. My daughter had her dream wedding and I would not change anything. I would recommend this venue to anyone.

Truly the very very best venue in Chattanooga! The views and grounds, themselves are unmatched, but the building is jaw-dropping. So lovely. They include chairs, tables, plates, linens, benches, glasses, and they offer catering which was really good! I was blown away at how beautiful all the details were. Every other venue's "included" options were plastic and aluminum and usually cost an extra couple hundred dollars. Views at Sunset Ridge includes beautiful dinnerware and lovely polished solid wood chairs and benches. The family is amazing and so so helpful! They took care of everything and honestly, as soon as I booked the venue, I kind of sat back and enjoyed the rest of engagement without stressing. Just have someone you hire or you know (I used a friend of my mom's) manage the day-of stuff on your end to coordinate with them. I cannot say enough good things about this place!!

Thank you to all the wonderful staff and owners at The Views at Sunset Ridge! Our wedding was beyond our dreams. The kindness you showed my fiancé and myself throughout this whole process was a godsend. We booked the gold package along with our venue rental, Leslie & Ashley were so willing to help with our ceremony ideas and planning our table layout. It was such a relief to not have to worry about any of the details. Everything was set up and beautiful for us. They had so many suggestions to help keep our day special and focused on us and keeping our guests happy. Allen, the executive chef is so, so good! We went to several open houses and were able to sample several options, it all tastes amazing. We loved the Jack Daniels Chicken and so did our guests. The staff are so polite and kind, everyone was impressed with how helpful each one of them are. The venue is beautiful with so many places for pictures. And the views, oh my! You won’t find a more perfect setting and kind staff to work with for your special day. Thank you Sunset Ridge team we appreciate all you did!

Purchased their largest planning package so that I wouldn't have to worry about anything on the day of. Wow was I ever soo wrong. They didn't have my day of timeline. Didn't know what corsages or boutonnières went to who. Was extremely disrespectful to all of my vendors and family. I could go on and on about issues with this venue, but the icing on the cake was when the owner came up to me while I was getting my hair done to tell me she was quitting because my father parked beside the venue. Lol What a JOKE. Maybe if you had your ducks in a row you would understand that this situation could've EASILY been avoided. Like maybe putting cones and having the parking attendant that we paid for directing traffic... Running a wedding business requires true professionalism because this day will be remembered for the rest of our lives. The venue owner gets her emotions involved instead of being professional. I gave them the benefit of the doubt because I thought I was just having the wedding jitters, but my gut was right. As she explained to my father they do not care about anything but getting their “mortgage paid”. Its a shame they are even in this business. Who makes a bride cry on their wedding day? This venue. I cant wait to see what kind of lame excuse they respond with. Bride to bride. Do not hire them to be your planners. Actually, avoid this venue if you want to have things go smoothly for your big day.

The most beautiful venue for a wedding . The owners and staff were amazing and worked the entire day and night making sure my daughters day was a success. Highly recommend them to anyone looking for the perfect place for a wedding.

When we booked with the Views Ashley & Leslie helped us every step of the way with all our details helping us with décor and set up to walking us thru all the details of our day making sure we had everything the way we wanted. They helped us with the perfect private spot to have our first look so we could enjoy our special moment together alone. They are so kind and thoughtful in all they do I couldn’t imagine this day going as smoothly without them. The additional staff (sorry I can’t remember names) who is there to help everyone the entire time is awesome. Helping people park and get in to getting those who need assistance up the elevator. They all flipped our ceremony room while we were eating to come back down to a room ready to party the night away! The venue is so amazing. Pictures do not do this justice at all. We were blown away by the views and this beautiful building from the moment we pulled up! All our guests were impressed with the beauty! There is so much room to get ready in for both the bridal party and the guys to have fun in. They have thought out every detail to help make your day all that you dream. I got married here on May 18th. It was absolutely the most stunning venue! Ashley and Leslie were very helpful and helped make the day go as smooth as possible. We got the weekend package so we had our rehearsal dinner there, and Ashley was very helpful in setting up and decorating everything for that! Afterwards, my bridesmaids and I all stayed the night. They brought in beds, sheets and pillows to accommodate us, and then in the morning as they served us breakfast, they got all the beds out to help make the room nicer for pictures and give us more space. They were very accommodating with all the decorations we brought in ourselves and let us pick items they have in stock to use as well! Everything about our weekend was perfect, and this venue and its owners made it that way! My husband and I are so thankful we chose TVASR and we recommend it to all future brides and grooms looking for a venue for such a special day!

I got married at the Views at Sunset Ridge on May 10th. My husband and I were extremely impressed with not only the venue itself, but the amazing individuals who helped everything go so smoothly. Ashley & Leslie were very attentive and made sure every aspect of the wedding went as planned while ensuring I was stress-free. These two ladies were my coordinators for the day and were always one step ahead of the game. The venue has a beautiful view on both the inside and outside. There are hundreds of places to take pictures. The indoor venue is huge and every inch of the place is gorgeous. Not only would I recommend this venue, but every one of my guests raved about how incredible and accommodating it was. I LOVED working with the Ashley & Leslie. These ladies were so kind to everyone involved and conscious of every detail.

This place is amazing! The views are sights unseen in this area. I never knew you could have this kind of view in Cleveland. We attended a friends wedding and it was beautiful. Courteous staff who were seen throughout the day helping. I would recommend this venue to anyone for their special day.

My brother got married here in April. The wedding was absolutely beautiful. The venue itself is spectacular and the views make it that much better. The owners were really helpful with the whole process and provided support on the day of. Couldn't imagine a better day!

This venue was everything we could have ever asked for on our wedding day. The views at the venue are absolutely breathtaking, but not only that the people were of some of the most accommodating venders we dealt with throughout the entire wedding planning process. We used the venue for the weekend package and they always had delicious food set out for us for lunch and breakfast. This group of people worked their tails off to make our day special. They worked through the night from Friday rehearsal dinner to Saturday morning to tend to our needs while our bridal party stayed the night and moving tables all over the venue to get it set up to decorate first thing in the morning. They helped with the entire clean up process. Ashely and Leslie treated us as if we were family. There is no amount of words that I could use to give this place the reviews that they deserve.

Staff was incredibly kind. Loved the shaded playground for children in the back. Right next to cute barn animals (fenced) to pet! The grooms hangout was SWEET and the took care of a ton of the tear down at the end of the night. They were amazing! #Zach&Lauren

The team at Sunset Ridge were very helpful, even designing a last minute curtain to keep out the sun from the grooms eyes so he could see his bride when she first entered the aisle. we were very pleased with this venue the views are breath taking the facility is UNBELIEVABLE!! What a Beautiful place for our Daughters wedding !!

A friend of mine had their wedding here earlier this year. The venue is beautiful, the views are spectacular and the staff was so attentive. I recommend this venue to all of my friends! This venue is a must see!

I can't say enough great things about this venue! The staff was kind, patient, and and accommodating! They even shuttled guests from the parking lot to the venue and operated a small elevator to ensure handicap guests were taken care of as well. Attended a wedding at this venue and, atop this "mini mountain", you can see what seems like forever. This venue should meet most wedding needs There's a huge beautiful rustic room for on the first floor for the ceremony as well as rooms for smaller gatherings on a second floor and the third floor has more spectacular scenes of the hills in the distance. On top of all this the staff are welcoming, going out of their way to make the event as special as possible. Special place for a wedding or any special gathering for that matter.

My friend recently had his wedding here, and man it was gorgeous. The first impression was amazing we were greeted by a very friendly staff, and coming up the hill from the parking lot we realized exactly why it was called the views at sunset ridge. The view was incredible it was a clear sunny day and you could see for miles. Once we were inside we were able to enjoy the beautiful layout and design of this venue, there were a good amount of stairs but nothing terrible, and they offered an elevator ride up for the handicap and elderly. I highly recommend this venue the attention to detail and the great personalities of the staff made this day amazing. I have seen a lot of negative reviews on here seemingly all from the same event, I personally can't imagine the staff here having a malicious bone in them. To those who are posting in this manner I am ashamed reviews pages for business are meant to educate people on the true nature of a establishment, with that said it is clear you are intent on driving review ratings for this business into the ground because of an incident which seems to be more the fault of nature and alcohol than this venue. Everyone knows what you are doing you have all only reviewed once and you are all copy and pasting each others rant you should all be ashamed of what you are doing.

To those wondering why there are so many “one star” reviews, please be aware that ALL of those reviews are from one single wedding. There are always two sides of a story. To see the venue’s side of the story, you can read all about it on their Facebook page. I was the very first wedding in this venue, and I couldn’t have asked for a better wedding. The views are UNBEATABLE. That alone should convince you to have your wedding or big event there. On top of that, the staff is incredibly helpful and kind. I visited the venue when it was still under construction but decided to book them regardless because I could immediately tell the staff was committed to putting the venue together on time. Surely enough, the venue came together beautifully!! The staff worked day and night to get it looking absolutely gorgeous. They were incredibly helpful the whole way through. I was a very worried bride because it wasn’t finished when I first visited, but they allowed me to visit many times to reassure me. They were there for me the entire wedding weekend to make it absolutely perfect. I genuinely couldn’t have asked for a better wedding experience. Thank you to these wonderful people for helping my day be everything I wanted and more!!
