My wedding here was AMAZING! I got married here last weekend and not only was the venue beautiful, but the staff was super sweet and helpful. Jen was especially great through all of my planning. She was very organized and on top of all of my vendor information. She was always quick to respond and she took so much stress off my plate on the wedding week. If you are looking to not buy a ton of decorations, this is the place for you. The venue is a beautiful garden and the venue is themed to look like a courtyard. The place decorates itself, but if you want something extra to decorate, they also let you borrow some of the decorations left behind from other weddings. Overall, my husband and I loved getting married here and recommend it to anyone interested in getting married in East Texas.

If you want a wedding that requires rentals (ie chairs, tables) from other vendors, this is not the venue for you. Due to their lack of upscale chair availability, I paid to have a rental company deliver my desired guest chairs and the staff hassled and charged me for this option. If you're going to use the dated decor that they have this is the place for you, if you want something new and fresh - this is not the place.

Planning a wedding during a pandemic is quite stressful, but Angela and her team did a fabulous job walking through all the protocols with us and making sure our guests were well taken care of. Also, can you get a more stunning venue?!!? I have seriously never heard of so many compliments on a wedding venue before.

ITALY in Texas! VDF was the absolute perfect venue to host our Italian-themed wedding. The owner, Ronda, was attentive and accommodating to all of our needs as well as specific details. Ronda and her staff were on hand the day of our wedding to ensure everything went smoothly. The professionalism was top notch! Our guests were amazed by the beauty, class, and style of the venue. I recommend VDF wholeheartedly.
