The Village at 170 is a family-owned wedding and event venue in Kohler, Wisconsin, offering two beautiful banquet halls designed to make your celebration memorable, comfortable, and uniquely yours. Conveniently located in Sheboygan County, our venue is a wonderful choice for wedding receptions, rehearsal dinners, bridal showers, corporate events, fundraisers, and other special occasions.
Our Grand Ballroom is ideal for larger wedding receptions and celebrations, featuring a spacious dance floor, stage, full-service bar, and a neutral setting that gives couples endless possibilities for decorating and creating their own wedding style. With its open layout and generous space, the Grand Ballroom can accommodate large celebrations of up to 400 guests.
For a more intimate celebration, our Badger Room offers a warm and inviting atmosphere with a full-service bar, large dance area, and comfortable lounge seating. It is a wonderful choice for smaller wedding receptions, bridal showers, rehearsal dinners, and other special events, accommodating up to approximately 200 guests.

Our family-owned team provides personalized service and works closely with couples to help bring their ideas to life—from menu selections and seating arrangements to décor and entertainment. We offer in-house catering, a variety of menu options, full-service bar packages, dance floors, and flexible event spaces, making it easier to bring the important details of your celebration together in one place.
Our story is personal. Owners Jeff and Mel Romanoski purchased The Village at 170 in 2016 after experiencing the venue firsthand while planning their own daughter’s wedding. Since then, they have continued to renovate and improve both banquet halls while building a venue centered around family, community, hospitality, and memorable celebrations.
Whether you're planning an elegant large-scale wedding reception in the Grand Ballroom or a cozy and intimate celebration in the Badger Room, The Village at 170 is here to help you create a wedding day your family and guests will remember for years to come.

As owner, Jeffry oversees the bar and helps create a fun, welcoming atmosphere for every celebration. He takes pride in making sure guests have a great experience from start to finish.
Melanie oversees the kitchen and behind the scenes to make sure every event runs smoothly. It is her goal to make sure every celebration is well prepared and memorable for all guests.
