The week of our wedding, we dropped everything off and went over all the details — from our favors to our setup preferences. Barry and Amy went above and beyond, even helping with small touches like placing stickers on our favors and sending us photos beforehand to make sure everything looked exactly how we wanted. Their attention to detail and thoughtfulness made us feel completely confident that the day would run smoothly. And it did — it was flawless. From start to finish, the timeline flowed perfectly thanks to how organized and attentive they were. It was a bit windy that day and we really wanted our outdoor ceremony. Barry and Amy cared a lot about our decision and let us be the last ones to choose. Amy worked seamlessly with our photo and video team so we could capture the most stunning shots on the golf course, and she even took photos and videos on her phone to send us the next day so we could relive those moments right away. After the ceremony, they had an incredible spread of cocktail hour food waiting just for us, which the groom especially appreciated. Our ballroom reveal was amazing. Barry even made sure our parents joined us to see it all together for the first time — it was absolutely breathtaking. The food was out of this world — creative, delicious, and beautifully presented. Our guests are still talking about it! The entire team was professional, efficient, and kind, and every single detail was executed perfectly. We later learned that Barry and Amy handled an issue with an outside vendor that we didn’t even know about — they took care of everything quietly so we could truly enjoy a stress-free day. It’s hard to put into words how perfect our wedding was, but we can honestly say it exceeded every expectation. Our guests can’t stop raving about how beautiful, smooth, and fun the entire day was. The venue itself is elegant, warm, and perfectly set up for a celebration that feels both grand and personal. Barry and Amy were flexible and worked with us on specific requests: curating the menu to appeal to our guests’ tastes (more seafood and fruit), family-style dinner approach, ensuring our menu-placecards were placed exactly as we intended, squeezing in a receiving line, etc. They even understood last-minute changes to the guest-count (like the day before!). We didn’t hold the Tea Ceremony at the venue, but that was an option. Misc. tips and callouts: - Ask about exclusive vendors and budget for those required - Hold a rehearsal meeting WITH Barry & Amy so they know how the day should go (important especially as they handle vendor coordination on your behalf) - Guests are not allowed on the lawn as it’s a private golf course so communicate that ahead of time or else they’ll get reminded the day-of, which didn’t create the most positive guest experience who were just looking to take beautiful photos. Overall, the Village Club was beautiful, spacious, well-air conditioned (our wedding was in July), food and drinks were great according to our guests; we’d recommend this venue to anyone!

Throughout planning, he answered our questions so quickly and easily and we were always welcomed to stop by the venue and see the new renovations they made or just see the place we fell in love with again. We loved that we were the only event being held there that day and the guests loved that they were able to get outside during cocktail hour to take pictures in front of the stunning golf course. It unfortunately rained on our wedding day, but Barry and the team set up a beautiful indoor ceremony for us and so quickly turned it over for the reception. Our guests keep telling us it was such a beautiful and magical wedding! The food was also beyond incredible!! From the tasting to cocktail hour to dinner and dessert, we enjoyed every last bite and know our guests did too. Harrison’s parents are vegan and they were easily accommodated. Amy helped me with all my bridal needs from getting dressed to driving us out on the golf cart to the bridge for pictures in between downpours and always making sure I had what I needed and wanted. We are so grateful we got pictures outside!! Barry and Amy are an incredible team and run such smooth, gorgeous weddings! Our ceremony started a little late due to transportation delays and Barry and Amy both made sure we had our full time with our band and guests during the reception. We hope one of our friends get married here in the future so we have the chance to come back!!

They are an incredible team, whose attention to detail and organization were an integral part of what made our day run so smoothly and stress free. On the day of the wedding, they were by our side, attending to each and every one of our needs, whether it be organizing the escort cards, making sure we were fed and hydrated or helping my husband change out of a very sweaty tuxedo shirt.. Sorry Amy! But that is truly the dedication you receive when working with Amy and Barry. The venue itself is spacious and elegant with tasteful decor and multiple rooms for different stages of the evening so that guests can mingle comfortably without having to see what's happening behind the scenes. The bridal suite was comfortable and large, accommodating both hair and make up, getting ready photos, and later, our ketubah signing. The grounds are absolutely gorgeous and we were so lucky to be able to take pictures outside (ask about the bridge!). Lastly, the food is phenomenal. We used their kosher catering option and the food was so good, most of our guests didn't even realize it was a kosher wedding. Even 4 weeks out from the date, we're still getting calls from friends and family telling us that it was the best food they have ever had at a wedding! We truly cannot recommend the Village Club enough!!

Having Amy with me all day on the day of the wedding was truly a gift – she is amazing and does it all. She saved the day figuring out how to bustle my dress with safety pins when some of the strings were not holding up – my bustle stayed perfectly all night dancing! While this would normally stress me out, Amy made me feel totally at ease. And while she bustled me up, Scott and I were able to enjoy all of the incredible apps they brought up to the suite along with our signature drinks. We lucked out with an incredible sunset the night of our wedding and Barry was on the lookout for it making sure we went outside at just the right time to get photos which look unbelievable. We’ve received so many compliments from our guests on how amazing our wedding was. Some of them said it was one of the best weddings they’ve ever attended and many were blown away by how the party didn’t stop all night and the dancing began immediately after the cocktail hour. When we first booked with Barry he promised us that he’d maximize the time on the dance floor and he definitely delivered and our guests noticed. And last but not least, we received so many compliments on the food, especially the fried chicken & waffles which Barry and Amy highly recommended we select during our tasting. l as relaxed and stress free as Barry. From the moment we booked through the end of our wedding day Barry was always available via phone and email at any time to answer questions and check in. On our wedding day Barry and Amy were beyond attentive and made sure everything was perfect! During set up, Amy realized our welcome sign was broken in the corner and she coordinated with our florist to bring some extra flowers to hide it. It looked beautiful and we wouldn’t have even known it was broken! During the night, Barry and Amy made sure we always had a drink in our hand so we never had to go to the bar, brought up a sampling of all our cocktail hour food to the bridal suite to make sure we ate and had a few minutes to ourselves and kept the night running perfect and smooth. Anything we needed or wanted, Barry and Amy were right there. Amy also helped coordinate my surprise dress change keeping my second dress locked in a separate room so no one would see it and helped me change and make a second entrance! The venue itself is absolutely beautiful. Having been to many weddings on Long Island we were looking for a place we hadn’t been. VCLS has the perfect indoor/outdoor cocktail hour area and the ballroom for the reception is stunning and has an outdoor area as well for guests to get some fresh air during the party. The lake on the property is also beautiful. Since VCLS only has one event at a time, we had the whole venue to ourselves, which we loved and our guests could move around throughout the venue without worrying about bumping into another party. The food was delicious and our guests are still raving about how good the food was and how much food there was! No one left hungry. Thank you so much Barry and Amy for making our day so perfect! ved and what I have heard. #1. I was so impressed by the wait staff. Our guests did not have to wait for ANYTHING!! We were constantly offered food and beverages throughout the evening starting with the cocktail hour and continuing to the last second of the party. #2. I was so impressed watching each table being served at the same time. It is the expectation when dining in the finest restaurant that each person’s meal is delivered at the same time. This is not an expectation in a catered event and yet you did it. All I kept seeing were 10 waiters walking in a line with a dinner plate in hand and serving the table at the same time. BEYOND impressed! Many commented on this! #3. The food was five star quality. #4. The selections for dessert were over the top amazing in taste and quality. #5. My son told us that they were treated like royalty every second of the event. Thank you also for checking with me and my husband throughout the night. You made us feel as important as the bride and groom. Your staff could not have been nicer to all the guests. Like any job, when you do something day in and day out you can get bored or portray an attitude of “just another wedding" and I did not see that (and I looked for it). Each person truly looked anxious to please and invested in our event. This is not common!!! Especially today. You were both so wonderful, especially with the cake crisis. I saw Amy’s finger on her phone. I had no doubt that if my bakery did not resolve the issue she had her contact on speed dial and I would have had a cake there. I am so grateful for how you both addressed that unfortunate incident. In the end, the night was PERFECT and we were all left with memories of the most perfect wedding thanks to both of you!! 🥰

my are an unbelievable team. From the start of the wedding planning all we heard was ok we can make that happen. There is never anything completely shut down that you want done. Barry and Amy take your requests or wishes give their best advice and then work with you to make it happen. There was a lot of things that became issues or stressors before the wedding and the venue was not one of them. Getting to the venue the day of the wedding was so exciting. Barry and Amy not only are setting up for the wedding day but they are working with the entire bridal party/ bride/groom/families and their staff throughout the entire day. It truly seems like there is more than just the 2 of them for how over the top their service is and how they pay attention to every detail. They make you feel so important throughout the planning and the day of the wedding. For example: They truly make the entire wedding day about the bride and groom. I as the bride was starting to lose steam and Barry went out of his way to get me a refreshment while Amy was standing with me. They make sure each step of the wedding day goes even better than you imagined it. Amy also is with the bride the entire day and she is truly the best person to have with you the whole time. She is the best coordinator and I wish I could hire her for all the important events in our lives. She is 5 steps ahead of you the entire day. While she is the best support and cheerleader for you she is also taking photos that she sends back to you the next day so you have some of your own. She keeps everyone on schedule and takes any issues away from you so you can focus on yourself. The food was OVER THE TOP. So many people complimented the food. They have so many options that are new/ different and creative. Their menu is very long and truly caters to everyone. Cocktail hour there was so much food and the service was incredible. The staff was nice, professional and extremely thorough. The night was so perfect that no one wanted it to end. We are so so thankful that we were able to have our wedding at the Village Club. The whole venue has been updated and continues to be adding new refreshing features every time we go. It looks amazing. All the rooms are big and the outdoor space is beautiful. They work hard and care so much about all their clients. Barry and Amy are not only unbelievable at throwing a party but they truly love and care for all their clients. They bring you in to throw your party and you leave being apart of their family. I would redo this night 1000 times if I could. I am so thankful that we were able to finally do this day after a lot of hiccups and couldn't be more thankful that they were the ones running the show.

As far as the wedding itself, our guests have no stopped raving about the food and hospitality. After the ceremony, our guests made their way to the cocktail hour after being greeted with our signature drinks. The cocktail hour had endless selections, whether it be from the stations or pass-arounds. The sunset was beautiful that night, which made the indoor/outdoor cocktail hour that much more special and intimate. Amy gathered every dish from the cocktail hour and brought it up to the bridal suite for us to try, even adding our cocktail napkins with our signature drink. Amy and Barry go above and beyond to make sure that the Bride and Groom at all times feel like royalty. We appreciated how available Barry and Amy were leading up to the wedding and the day-of. We did not have a wedding planner, however Barry and Amy made sure that all vendors and coordination was taken care of. At the reception, all the guests never waited on line for a drink and we were told that all the wait-staff and team were friendly and professional. Like I said earlier, every guest could not get over how good the food was - it truly makes the biggest difference in the night. Lastly, both of us had small surprises for each other (roaming Photo Booth and Crumbl cookies at the after party) and Barry made sure to make both those moments special for us. When the doors opened, our guests were amazed by the sight of the stations, the taste of the food, and the warm hospitality. Amy was also wonderful throughout the entire process—kind, friendly, and always attentive to our needs. She even helped our photographer find the best spots for photos, while Barry ensured everything ran smoothly and on time. Their attention to detail and punctuality made the day seamless. What really stood out to me was how caring both Barry and Amy are. When we mentioned that some of our members flights had been delayed or canceled they showed real empathy and always made us feel supported. Fortunately everything worked out but their level of personal care really touched us. Many of our guests told us that our wedding at the Village Club was the best they’d ever attended. They anticipated every need we had - we would often think of something we wanted or needed, and it turned out that they had already taken care of it (if they hadn't already, they immediately did so). They coordinated with our vendors, kept track of the many items we brought to the venue for the ceremony and reception, helped us get photos in the best locations, surprised us with an extra pass around during cocktail hour, and so much more. No detail was missed, and they made sure that we (and our families) could enjoy our day without having to deal with many logistics. The weather on our wedding day was hot and humid and had a chance of rain, but Barry and Amy supported our dream to have our ceremony outdoors - they tracked the weather all day, and provided us with the flexibility to decide about the ceremony location much later than we would have expected. We ended up being able to have our ceremony outdoors, and it was absolutely beautiful! Barry and Amy were very supportive during the planning process in addition to the day of the wedding. The food was amazing and Barry and Amy again went above and beyond in allowing us to make minor changes to the menu offerings. Barry created magic and moved everything inside in an hour for the most beautiful and intimate ceremony we could have imagined - all while we took photos and were none the wiser. We believe it a blessing in disguise. Barry and Amy are masters of scheduling and service. In addition to the bride and groom, we as parents felt cared for. In fact, wherever we turned, if we needed anything, Barry was there. He is a professional who notices what needs to be noticed.
