ined. From our very first visit, we knew this place was something special, and a huge part of that was Lesley, the venue owner. She made us feel welcomed, valued, and completely equal from the start, something that was heartbreakingly rare for us to find as a two-bride wedding. Her warmth and sincerity were a major reason we chose this space. Throughout the planning process, Lesley was such a steady, supportive presence. Her recommendations from our florist to the chef ended up being everything we hoped for and so much more. It felt like she intuitively understood our vision and connected us with people who brought it to life with care and creativity. One thing we appreciated more than we can express was how she opened up the vineyard and cottages to us even before the wedding letting us enjoy the space, breathe it in, and feel like it was already a part of our story. Those moments made the venue feel like home long before we officially said “I do.” On the wedding day itself, everything was seamless. Her team was calm, organized, and genuinely invested in making sure we could just be present. Not once did we feel stressed every detail flowed naturally, letting us soak in every second of the day we’d spent nearly two years dreaming up. The property is breathtaking in every direction. Our guests couldn’t stop talking about how beautiful it was and how smooth the entire celebration felt. We’re endlessly grateful for Lesley and her team, and we truly can’t wait to come back and celebrate anniversaries, milestones, and all the moments ahead in the place that started our forever.

Since we were living in Florida at the time, we had to do the majority of the planning meetings via zoom with Lesley, and it truly worked out very well with our schedules. Lesley was so great at giving us amazing and unique suggestions for the wedding so that my daughter’s wedding would have the one of a kind uniqueness that every bride to be wants! As my daughter was looking for a garden themed wedding, Lesley came up with amazing ideas that complimented the theme, like having colorful umbrellas for the audience, which turned out to be super helpful since it provided shade as well as protection from the sprinkling of lucky rain that graced us all! But truly, from helping us find an incredible florist that gave my daughter stunning beyond words florals within our budget, to helping create a beautiful and personalized table scape to the overall unique floor layout, to finding us a DJ that specifically met our needs, Lesley helped to give my daughter a gorgeous wedding experience that was one of a kind and highly personalized.  As a note though, the setting of The Vineyard at High Holly is truly breathtaking just by itself, so even if one did not want to add on extras it would still be gorgeous. One of the highlights of the wedding in which Lesley coordinated, was the arrival of a marvelously well behaved family of Llamas that stood as decoration during the ceremony and then provided incredible opportunities for photos during cocktail hour, it was like a fairytale!!! Let us not forget the incredible food though.. They have a chef that does a phenomenal menu of literally anything in the world you could think of… and the quality of the food is absolutely exquisite! Lesley and her amazing chef met with us together on zoom for quite a while talking about all the options to choose from and were able to give us everything we wanted and worked hard to make sure it was within our budget too! The day of the wedding Lesley went from already being amazing in helping us to plan everything but becoming literally superhuman in making sure each and every detail was taken care of.  There was always a golf cart arriving whenever anyone needed to be taken anywhere readily available and Lesley would pop in to make sure we had everything we needed frequently during the day. In fact, she even hemmed my husband’s pants at the last minute- god bless her!!! I don’t know how she does it, but she manages to do about fifteen things at once and still do them all well… and she truly does care and wants the experience to be everything you have dreamed of and more, and will go ten extra miles to make sure that it happens. If you are looking to have the most unforgettable experience of a lifetime and also want it to be a retreat for your guests, The Vineyard at High Holly is the perfect place to make it all happen!

She was there the whole time checking in on us and making sure we had everything we needed. Our family stayed in the cutest, coziest cabins — everyone loved them! Throughout the weekend, the staff were so helpful and attentive. The staff members and Lesley picked us up in golf carts and drove us wherever we needed to go, which made everything feel effortless. The vineyard itself is breathtaking — it was the perfect backdrop for our wedding, and our guests are still talking about how beautiful it all was. It was everything we hoped for and more.

All the cottages and houses are beautiful and clean, and the vineyard and pavilion are picturesque. In fact, it was so stunning, that we only used minimal decorations. The high ceilings in the pavilion, the flowers and the vineyard view, all stand on their own. The best part was the ideal backup plan in the case of rain. I didn't have to worry that we wouldn't get beautiful views if the weather didn't hold. Lesley was also our day-of coordinator and made sure everything went seamlessly. When the inevitable little bumps in the road occurred, she jumped on it and provided multiple solutions. She made it an enjoyable experience from beginning to end. Her staff and the chef, Michelle, were incredible, and all my guests raved about the food – I definitely recommend booking the Vineyard team for day-of coordination, catering, and staffing. The Vineyard at High Holly was everything we could of hoped for and will forever be intertwined with our love story. The professionalism, passion, and kindness of Lesley and her team are second to none, and I can't thank them enough.

Lesley bent over backwards to help the bride have her idyllic weekend and allowed her to place her own personal touches throughout the celebration. Despite a torrential rain on the Wednesday before the guests arrived on Friday, Eric and crew had the grounds in impeccable shape by check-in. With the multitude of gathering spaces, we were able to have a bridal luncheon, rehearsal dinner, wedding ceremony, and reception all on site, not to mention the impromptu fire pit gatherings, Bocce Ball tournaments, and pickleball games. All of our out-of-town guests raved about the cozy and unique accommodations. There was even a special getaway for bride and groom after the reception. The food was catered in house and was wonderful. Every single staff member was friendly, cheerful, and always smiling. It was obvious they have as much fun as the guests. This is truly a venue that you can mold to fit whatever your idea is of the perfect day. If looking for a mountain setting for your wedding, whether black-tie formal or blue jeans casual, I cannot imagine a better place.

They really had our backs. On top of the wonderful people, the vineyard itself is just the most picture perfect place for a wedding. Having our friends and family be able to stay on the property with us was both a major convenience and just plain fun. Even though the weather was cold and rainy on our wedding day, it was blissfully romantic. All the lodging is beautifully stylish and cozy at the same time, and I love that unlike so many other venues, we'll be able to go back over and over to stay at the vineyard in the future. If you want an unforgettable wedding experience, this is the place for you!!

away when we saw The Vineyard at High Holly. We left our tour giggly about the fact that we both fell in love with the property and knew we had to get married there. The cottages each have great personality, and make accommodations easy for family and wedding party members. Golf cart use makes getting around easy, even for people who may have mobility challenges. The ceremony space is absolutely beautiful. There are plenty of fire pits and gathering spots sprinkled across the property for people to get together. The pavilion has gorgeous views of the property and can be opened up to let in a breeze, or closed to keep out any rain. This reception space has a good sized commercial kitchen in it, making it a breeze to cater. Access to the refrigerators means it is easy to keep perishables and beverages cool the whole weekend. About 10 months after signing a venue contract, the property had new ownership. We were so nervous… Would this mean we would have to change venues? What would the new owners be like? My husband and I left our meeting with the new owners, Lesley and Eric, relieved and even more excited about the venue. They had been all hands on deck, working to make an already beautiful property look even more like heaven. It was important to us that our wedding weekend felt like a vacation getaway for our guests staying on-site, and for ourselves. On our last day at the vineyard, my husband and I didn’t want to leave after experiencing such a hospitable stay on this beautiful property. The owners are truly great people and extremely professional and passionate about making the vineyard the perfect space for events/vacations. Amidst some planning troubles, Lesley stepped up and worked personally with me to ensure we had everything ready to go with each vendor. She and Eric truly went above and beyond in helping plan our wedding weekend, and in actively working behind the scenes on our wedding day. Lesley’s communication skills are impeccable, which makes a huge impact when planning a wedding. Her attention to detail is unmatched, and her hospitality made the experience so calming and even fun. My husband and I will absolutely be coming back to the vineyard for small getaways and to celebrate our anniversary next year. Lesley and Eric, we can’t thank you enough for everything and are looking forward to seeing you again soon! ❤️

She was always transparent and helpful. There are so many beautiful places everywhere you look. The property is very well kept and there is attention to detail at every step. It was amazing to have our closest family and friends staying with us on-property. We all loved sitting by the fire and hanging out after events or having a cup of coffee together in the morning. A BIG bonus - the price is worlds different from those in downtown Highlands and you still get all the benefits and more. It's affordable. The Vineyard is tucked away on the side of the mountains in the spectacular Northeast Georgia/North Carolina mountains. Your entire wedding weekend can be spent here with plenty of lodging for your wedding party and more. At each corner of the vineyard, whether in the main house overlooking the treetops, in a small cottage with a view of the vineyard, or in the vineyard looking over the mountains, each spot is unique and gorgeous in its own way. Our family and friends came from all over the U.S. and were incredibly happy that they didn't even have to get in a car to be with us. They were also conveniently located to some prime spots for hiking, feasting, and exploring both Clayton, GA and Highlands, NC. Additionally, those who wanted to be in larger homes during their stay could rent houses in the Sky Valley or Highlands area which are both short car rides away. On the day of our wedding, I was able to look out over the vineyard and into the pavilion as our vendors arrived and began setting everything up. There was space for the bridesmaids and groomsmen to be close but completely separate. When it was time for the first look we didn't have to worry about travel/transportation. We lucked out with beautiful weather for our photos and rain came around ceremony time. Even with the rain, the views were perfect. All of our guests commented on how the pavilion for the ceremony ended up being gorgeous with the rain falling in the background and the clouds lifting over the mountains. We couldn't have dreamed this place to have been any more perfect than it was. It's truly a treasure tucked away in the mountains. I believe a venue should leave you always wanting more. We are hoping to go back every year for our anniversary to just get a taste of what wedding weekend 2019 was like for us and for our friends and family!
