The Vintage Cake

Our cake was beautiful, classic and elegant. But most important it was delicious!! Gina was easy to work with and so nice!

The Vintage Cake was amazing to work with! Their cakes are DELICIOUS and they have an amazing variety of buttercream fillings. We did an at-home tasting, which was easy to book and so smart! We got to take the samplings home and try them with no pressure. Our wedding cake was beautiful and simple, white with sunflowers. Our guests loved our devils food cake with cookies and cream buttercream and chocolate pearls! I would 100% recommend them!!

Great to work with! We chose vanilla sponge cake with chocolate hazelnut buttercream and it was delicious. Gina was very friendly over email. Our cake looked exactly like the inspiration picture!

The Vintage Cake did a stellar job on our cake and I could not be happier with how it turned out. She took my random barrage of inspirational cake photos and designed exactly what I wanted. In addition, the cake is simply delicious, which can be very hard to find in wedding cakes. I loved the cakes so much that I had her do a grooms cake and she came up with the most whimsical and gorgeous golf/sports-themed cake that my husband was blown away by. I can’t wait to use them for all my future cake needs!

During this time of great disappointment & stress due to COVID for bridal couples The Vintage Cake shop was truly a bright spot. I had them make a cake for my son & his future wife, not only was the cake beautiful but it was delicious! My family prides themselves on being connoisseurs of cakes & this cake ranked at the top. Ordered a cake for my son's graduation from medical school. I selected a special design with a lot of details. The cake looked amazing - a piece of art! It tasted as good as it looked. Delicious with fresh raspberries filling. Thanks Gina!

Five stars and then some! Gina and her team did an amazing job on our wedding cake and the groom's cake. I think what was most impressive was that our wedding cake was GLUTEN FREE and no one could tell. We actually got compliments on how delicious the cake was. I'm actually still dreaming of the chocolate mousse filling! She also made groom's cake modeled on my husband's R8 and nailed it. It was a surprise for him and was one of the highlights of the evening!

The Vintage Cake made an absolutely AMAZING cake for my sister’s bridal shower. It was a travel themed shower and Nancy worked with me and listened to all of my questions and truly exceeded my expectations. They made a 3 tier luggage cake that was beautiful. Nothing but good things to say about my experience!! The cake was also delicious as well! We had half cannoli half cookies n cream. Delicious!! Thank you VC!

Our cake was beautiful and delicious-- it was a grey marbled fondant with gold leafing and gold fondant ribbon on the outside with devil's food cake and cookies n cream icing. It was SO GOOD! Our guests loved it. Before the big day, Nancy was such a pleasure to work with. The tasting was enjoyable, and she really helped us fine tune our vision. We also thougt their rates were fair, and they never tried to oversell us. I can't wait to have another event so we can order another cake from The Vintage Cake.

I ordered my dad's birthday cake from vintage and I had no idea what to get. I sent over an image of the party theme and they produced a BEAUTIFUL CAKE that was a perfect match. It also tasted absolutely AMAZING! It was a big hit at the party and we will be ordering with vintage for all future events. They have excellent customer service, GREAT communication and their cake is delicious. It was an absolute pleasure working with them :)

I reached out to The Vintage Cake to ask them to make a Grooms Cake for my now husband at our wedding. I wanted something that would surprise him and be just a huge hit. Well, I asked and they delivered! They made the most amazing NY Rangers grooms cake for our wedding. Not only did the MSG stadium look phenomenal, but the cake tasted absolutely delicious as well. Everyone was crowding around this cake taking pictures and people are still talking about it 2 months later. I can't thank The Vintage Cake enough for making such a wonderful memory for us! I would recommend them in a heartbeat to anyone looking for an amazing quality cake both in look and taste!

The vintage cake was wonderful to work with ! I had a cake made for my sons christening and also ordered cupcakes, gourmet cups and macaroons. Everything was delicious ! The cake was BEAUTIFUL!! Exactly as i asked for it! I had also left some empty plates on the cake table for the extra desserts and they placed them out EXACTLY where i wanted them! They were easy to contact and very accomodating (i had some last minute dessert requests). Thank you so much for making our day extra special !!!

Before I found The Vintage Cake figuring out desserts for my wedding was a nightmare. From the very 1st email I knew I was gonna use them for my upcoming wedding. Though Spring is a busy time for bakerys they still took the time to help me figure out what would be perfect for my wedding. They helped me personalize it to match my theme as well as send me links to give me ideas. They're the friendliest people I've spoken to the entire planning of this wedding. That alone was enough to get my business but on top of all that, the affordable pricing and the abundance of options is amazing! I just finished my first taste testing and aside from the large portions, the flavors are out of this world! Being honest, I'm not a sweets eater and I ate SEVERAL of each flavor combo. I can't say enough how great this company is all around, especially after having some not so nice experiences elsewhere. They truely went above and beyond even before I placed an order. Now even after they are still attentive and making sure everything is just as I'd like as well as making suggestions when I'm completely lost. Lol I would 1,000% recommend this bakery all around. I can't wait for my big day and The Vintage Cake definitely helped make it alittle more special. :)

t was an absolutely amazing experience working with The Vintage Cake for my wedding. From our first email exchange, to the cake tasting and then to the wedding day, Gina and Nancy were extremely professional, knowledgeable and creative. They understood my vision and my cake was executed flawlessly. Now for the cake itself - all I can say is WOW. I have never tasted a cake as delicious as theirs. My guests could not stop raving about the unique combinations! We loved working with The Vintage Cake so much that we ordered my niece's 2nd birthday cake from them (yet another delicious masterpiece!) and will be definitely be ordering more cakes from them in the future! We had our wedding at the Berkeley Oceanfront Hotel on January 27th. Gina helped us create the cake we dreamed of - half chocolate with chocolate mousse, and the other half a delicious cinnamon and chocolate.. the cake was beautiful and delicious!! We have received so many compliments about how good the cake is, and we are so excited to be able to have our anniversary tier next year!

Gina at the Vintage Cake was wonderful. She gave us a consultation with a great tasting, her cakes were absolutely delicious (we did chocolate devils' food cake with vanilla buttercream and raspberry compote), and her prices were the most reasonable of any of the vendors we spoke to. On the day of, she arranged the flowers on our cake beautifully. It could not have gone better. Highly, highly recommend!
