raphers, I hired Jennifer, months in advance of my wedding day. She was nice enough to keep in touch periodically through the year to ask about wedding plans and show that she was still thinking of my fiance and I. A few weeks ahead of time she arranged a meeting at our venue (almost a two hour drive for her) to look at the area and discuss our must shoot list and the time line of the day. She was excited for us and explained in detail how she envisioned photographing the event, which put my mind completely at ease. Jen has a charming and soothing personality, which is nice to be around in the days before a wedding. She arrived on time with her assistant with a smile on her face and began working and clicking away, while still remaining “out of sight” and not interfering with all the hustle and bustle while seven bridesmaids and myself got ready. During the ceremony, I don't even remember seeing her. Getting to her photographs, I have to rack my brain for a way to describe how happy both my husband (who could usually care less about pictures and details) and I were when we got our giant box of carefully arranged prints that she included with our package. I spent HOURS with a smile on my face looking at a huge variety of images from the day. Not only were there plenty that we expected of us, the bride and groom, but there were also hundreds that I am excited to share with my family and friends of their experience after traveling so far to celebrate with us. It took several weeks to get the prints, but she was available via phone or email the entire time to reassure us that it simply takes time to refine the photographs to her standard. I was obviously anxious to see them during this period, but as soon as we received the final product all memories of my impatience faded immediately and were replaced by stomach bubbling excitement!! We also purchased the USB she offers with all the photos that were taken, which in my case were over 1,000. Do be aware that these photos may be shared unless otherwise agreed upon beforehand. The pictures are, in a word, perfect. She took shots I never knew she was there for, and would never have thought to ask for. Her images are soft and romantic, and made our wedding look like a fairytale! I will always have nothing but rave review for The Vintage Pea and their work.
