The Vista at Applewood Golf Course

The team at Applewood was beyond amazing! They were there for us every step of the way! When we found out the catering manager was leaving two months before our wedding, I’ll admit I was a bit nervous. Jeff, the head bartender, sat in on our tasting to make sure the transition was seem less! Keely then stepped in and we knew we were in excellent hands! Every single person at Applewood made our guests feel at home and, because of them, our day was absolutely perfect!!!! Applewood is a great two-in-one! They provide the catering and the chef is out of this world! He accommodated our nut free and gluten free friends. The food at the cocktail hour was phenomenal and our friends and family cannot stop talking about how absolutely delicious their dinner was!

The entire team at The Vista was wonderful to work with! They made the planning process extremely easy and were always available to us if we had any questions. They made the entire process so seamless and the day of the wedding turned out beautifully!

The Vista at Applewood Golf Course far exceeded our expectations of any wedding venue we toured, and we feel as though we got more than our money’s worth. Keely went above and beyond to ensure that not only was everything organized but she helped to bring our wedding vision to life. She was quick to respond to all inquiries and was very helpful in talking through all options with us. Jeff, the food and beverage manager, spent the entire evening sprinting around the reception hall ensuring that everything went off without a hitch, while also constantly checking on my husband and I to see what we needed. The food was outstanding and Chef gave us one of the most delicious meals of our life (the appetizers are to die for and the steak was perfect). The entire staff was professional, friendly, and provided outstanding service not only to us and our wedding party but our guests as well. Furthermore, the venue and the view itself is absolutely amazing - it has the real "Colorado feel" we were looking for and provides spectacular views from afternoon into the evening hours. I cannot tell you how many comments our guests made about the beauty and service The Vista at Applewood provided us. I would wholeheartedly and without reservation recommend this venue for your wedding or any large event!

Absolutely amazing and beautiful!

This venue was absolutely perfect for our wedding in August 2017. It was very reasonably priced and an amazing location for our outdoor ceremony, indoor/outdoor cocktail hour and indoor reception. My only complaint is that the catering director was difficult to work with. She didn't get back to my emails or questions on a timely basis and wasn't very helpful during the planning period. However, she did come through during the wedding, which I am very thankful for.

The Vista at Applewood was the perfect location for our wedding reception. With floor to ceiling windows all of our out of town guests were able to really appreciate how beautiful Colorado is in the fall. The location was a great size to allow people room to move around and yet not be dwarfed by too large a space. There is also ample parking for everyone. Best of all, the food and alcohol was very reasonably priced and we were able to provide an open bar the whole reception, much to the surprise and joy of our guests! We were fortunate to have found this place and would definitely recommend to others.

The ceremony garden is beautiful and the reception area is spacious with great views and ambiance. What was most outstanding though was the service and attention to detail provided by Tara Lyndsy at The Vista. She answered all of our questions and handled all of the details for us. We found the venue very affordable too. The wedding was amazing and everything we had hoped for.

Working with Tara went very well, and she did her best to make our day as smooth and perfect as can be! The venue was beautiful for both our ceremony and reception, and the staff did an amazing job with hardworking and sincere attitudes.

She was always happy to brainstorm and talk through the plan for the wedding. She made the experience very comfortable and I was able to plan the exact wedding I wanted. The ceremony garden is so beautiful! It showcases a perfect Colorado backdrop. Beautiful pictures!! The reception space was absolutely gorgeous - we received countless compliments. It absolutely exceeded my expectations! Tara and team set up the room exactly as I wanted it to look. This venue was so amazing- We knew the minute we met with Tara this was the perfect venue. They are so professional, organized/detail oriented, helpful and fun!! The location is breathtaking- the reception room is so beautiful with the view and the chandeliers!! The food was to die for!! The staff was amazing, helpful and the whole evening went absolutely perfect!!! I highly suggest this for your wedding -- you will not be sorry!!!

I could not be happier about the choice to have my wedding at the Vista! Everything was just..perfect! I'm not sure where to start. First off the venue is gorgeous and was the perfect setting both for the ceremony and the reception. Second the food...amazing! All my guests raved about the food and the aesthetics. Lastly, the service went beyond my expectations! Tara was wonderful taking all of my calls and emails from the time I got in contact with her. And Miranda did a great job day of with the coordination. We couldn't be more happy! We'll be sure to refer them every chance we get! :)

Our 4th Of July wedding at Applewood Golf Course was beautiful. You were able to see all the fireworks from the dining area's large open windows and on the deck. Tara was very helpful, but not overwhelming during the planning process. I wanted to plan everything myself and Tara was great about giving suggestions on everything I was unsure of. On the day of the wedding Tara was right by my side and completely guided us through the process. Time goes by very fast, and it is wonderful to have someone guide you through all the steps of a wedding. This service was a blessing and something I had not even thought about. The venue was beautiful. They had the grass, flowers, and grounds in great shape. The ceremony site was perfect. Now, THE FOOD! The food was AMAZING! The catering manager, Geoff, was great to work with. I had many people tell us that was the best food they have ever eaten at a wedding. We had Beef Tenderloin and Chicken Piccata as our main dishes. Sides of green beans with roasted tomatoes, whipped garlic mashed potatoes, ceasar salad, and dinner rolls. Completely outstanding. The cocktail hour h'ordeuvres blew everyone away! We had an open bar and 80 guests with the top of the line menu and call alcohol. Our price was just under $8000 for all the food, drink, venue, tax and help they provided. (Not including tip, decorations for ceremony site, favors, linens, flowers, etc.) On a scale of 1-10 I would give them a 10! It is at least worth a call to Tara to get an exact price quote. We are so happy that we picked this site for our wedding! My husband and I looked at several locations, and they all felt very "salesy" and cookie cutter. Beautiful, but not right. When we arrived at the Vista, Tara was more than happy to show us around (bless her heart, she was 8 months pregnant at the time!). The ceremony garden was beautiful, big open space and very green. Beautiful walk to the site. And the reception hall was also gorgeous: very modern looking. It has pretty distinct colors to it, but any wedding colors will work. The pricing was very reasonable, and no site fee which was a bonus! Tara was an excellent planner up to the day and was willing to answer all of my silly questions. She even ordered a tree for us to plant for the ceremony! Geoff was the day of coordinator who was on top of everything. We dealt with A LOT of rain on wedding day, but that makes the memories more perfect. If you are as indecisive as we were about your wedding details, the people at the Vista will give you the best input and best options to make your day spectacular.

The ceremony garden is beautiful, we couldn't have asked for a prettier setting for our wedding. The reception room is also great. There are floor to ceiling windows which provide amazing views all night. The food was so good. We are still hearing people tell us how much they liked the dinner. We had a customized buffet, and it came out amazing. The banquet staff were all very helpful. The pricing was much more reasonable than a lot of other places we looked at, and we were able to get everything we hoped for. Geoff, was incredible. He was so nice and accommodating from the first time we met him. He kept us on track for the ceremony and reception and made sure that we were getting everything we wanted. We had an unexpected emergency at the end of the night and he really stepped in and made sure everything was okay, and did not seem at all bothered that we ended up being there later than we were supposed to be. I would definitely recommend The Vista for the quality of the food and beautiful views and the awesome service that Geoff gave us.

Everyone at Applewood was so great to all of us. They stayed in touch with us throughout the entire process and made sure we knew how much was due at what time. The day of the wedding the food was great, the staff treated us great and made sure we had everything we needed. I would recommend this place to any and every couple getting married. And the price is so much better than their competitors and they offer so much more!!

Beautiful location! The coordinator was super helpful as was the rest of the staff. The grounds were gorgeous, and our pics turned out amazing. And no one could beat the cost for the scenery and location we had :)

Choosing the Vista at Applewood was the best decision I made with my wedding. Tara, Geoff and their staff were AMAZING! The outdoor ceremony space was beautiful, the reception space was perfect and our guests were absolutely wowed by the food. If I had to do it all over again I would pick this venue over and over again. Tara and Geoff were an absolute pleasure to work with and was there every step of the way.

My husband and I recently celebrated our wedding by having our reception at The Vista at Applewood. We had our ceremony off site, so did not use the ceremony garden. Tara is absolutely amazing! In the third trimester of her pregnancy, she continued to be accommodating, flexible, and cheerful. She can help you develop an event based on any budget. We customized our buffet but also had an Italian dessert buffet made in house. I met with Tara many times and changed many things along the way, and each time, she gave valuable input to make our event special, unique, but also within our budget. Every guest we hear from raves about the decorations, the food, the mood, and everything in between. The staff at Applewood is superb, I recommend this facility to anyone for a wedding reception! It is a beautiful setting in the foothills with great views.

We had a rough idea of what we wanted and Tara Lindsay created a unique, fun, and classy experience. From the menu choices to the overall flow of the party, everything went off without a hitch. The groom and I have received so many compliments from everyone in attendance. It was fun, the food was great, and the service was out of this world. No doubt we made a great choice having our reception at the Vista at Applewood Golf Course.

this was absolutely the best place ever to get married. the staff was absolutely fantastic!! the food was "The best wedding food ever" (This was told to us by all of our guests)!! The price was great!! They are very helpful and friendly. I would reccomend everyone to get married here!!
