re as well. The whole property is definitely dated in terms of decor, but the rooms themselves appear to have been renovated at some point newer than the rest of the property. Beds appeared to be newer, very clean, no bugs anywhere. Large flat screen tv, windows that open! My only complaint throughout the entire stay, is the plug-in air fresheners located all over the property. In the rooms, in the lobby, the hallways and the conference room. My eyes were burning and itchy after a few hours on site. The scent was not as strong in the room thankfully. The air fresheners were my only reason for giving 4 stars.

Our room was clean, the staff was friendly,, the bed was VERY comfortable, heating system was good, there was a larger than usual fridge, and we liked the decor. But why are there NO available outlets in the rooms?

desk for a free breakfast at the onsite restaurant (there were four choices for hot breakfasts) and we had tasty food and outstanding service.
My only other complaint is about the smells in the 1st floor hallways—the carpet smelled overdue for replacement and had a variety of unpleasant, funky smells. It seems to be a bad sign that there are plug-in air “fresheners” and I had to sign an agreement to follow such rules as not unplugging them.

I knew it was an older hotel from living in the area most of my life. Staff at hotel were not helpful and on the rude side. Waitresses at Marty’s for breakfast were very polite and helpful but understaffed severely. The hotel room was clean but...
the beds were the worse I have slept in. Hard as a rock and old! With someone with severe osteoarthritis this was a sleeping nightmare. For the price of the rooms you definitely need to upgrade the beds if nothing else. Oh and disabled patrons be aware of the non working elevator. The brush off we got when we told hotel staff that it was not working was absolutely unacceptable. Thank goodness it worked in the morning but beware of glitches!
