Cannot say enough about Rusty! We had such a great experience. Rusty is kind, professional, approachable, respectful and very well-versed in all things wedding! He was helpful and accommodating, as we are not anywhere near models! Giving us small prompts that end up creating magic! Rusty is great at capturing feeling in his photographs- everything is very genuine. I personally do not like to be photographed (usually don’t like how I look) and there is not a bad photo in the bunch! You will not regret having Rusty in your corner!

Won’t bury the lede for you, Internet: Rusty at Waldron Photography is amazing. We planned our KC wedding remotely from Chicago, during the pandemic. Anxiety, you might suspect, was high. So the thing we came to value most about Rusty—beyond even his taste, eye, and shooting skill—was communication. Our guy knows how to email. He was the quickest to respond to questions, schedule FaceTime meetings, and generally put our minds at ease. While anxiously planning a “destination” wedding, this was clutch. Rusty, of course, has an amazing eye—you've seen Waldron's Instagram. But he was very open to notes on what kind of pictures we were feeling before and after our engagement photo session (we definitely like candids over posed portraits; thank you, Rusty, for your patience in our inability to take ourselves seriously). Overall, dialing in our vibe felt like a fun, collaborative process. Yes, Rusty is fun! And chill as hell. So if that’s a vibe you’re looking for on your wedding day, he’s got it. We loved having a calm, competent presence capturing the moment. He’s a great wrangler when the job requires—and he doesn’t have to yell at anyone to get people into position. The TL;DR: Rusty gave us exactly what we were looking for in our wedding photos: us, but elevated. He made us look GOOD. He’s a lovely guy who’s lovely to work with. He had 100 percent of our trust, from beginning to end. If he’s available, we’d definitely book him for our next weddings*. One last thing: spring for the photo booth. Some of our favorite photos of the night came from friends and family using the photo booth. (*This is a joke, approved by wife.)

The best decision I made besides saying yes to my current husband is going with Rusty as my wedding photographer! His work on instagram really caught my eye but I wondered if my husband and I who are truly the most awkward people to photograph could actually look natural in our wedding photos. Rusty absolutely killed it - not one photo looks 'staged' and every single person looks incredible. These are not your typical wedding photos - they capture the day and the emotions perfectly but also are beautifully shot and visually interesting. Rusty and his second shooter were awesome to work with and he is also just a wonderful person to have by your side on wedding day - keeping things moving and was a calm presence in the midst of all of it. We got a curated highlight reel just 1 day after the wedding and got our full album about 5-6 weeks after which is crazy fast for how many photos we received and the quality. He was also super on top of it since we booked him on following up and answering any and all questions we had during the process. My friends and family can't believe how stunning these photos are and are something we will all cherish for generations!!

Having Rusty take our wedding photographs was one of THE best decisions we made for our wedding day/weekend! Rusty did a great job of making us feel beautiful while also capturing what feels like authentic snapshots of "us" as a couple. Instead of feeling like I was posing for pictures, I felt like I was just living (and loving) our day with Rusty in the background capturing it. The emotion and joy he managed to capture is incredible, and he also helped us do a streamlined approach to "formal" pictures so that we could spend more time with our guests (one of our priorities!). Rusty was so organized on the front end that the day itself went seamlessly, and he managed to bring an extra level of calm to the weekend (and, frankly, to the whole process!). The photos are absolutely incredible (although I recognize I'm biased...), and I know we'll cherish them for decades. You absolutely will not regret having Rusty and his team capture your weekend.

RUSTY. Y'all, Rusty is incredible. From the moment we hired him, we knew he was special. He's incredibly kind and genuinely invested in his clients. He spent time getting to know us as a couple, and was beyond thoughtful about making sure he was capturing the day in a way that was authentic to us. In a stressful environment he was a conduit of calm, and we centered on his energy throughout the day. Like, beyond normal wedding stress. We had a damn tornado in the middle of dinner. My wife and I had our wedding at the end of May 2021, and we had the extreme good fortune of working with Rusty of Waldron Photography to capture our event. Our package with Rusty included an engagement photoshoot as well 8 hours on the wedding day. We included an add-on for the Blanc Booth; a high-quality professional photo-booth during the reception which offers black and white portraits for the entire evening. To put it plainly, I was absolutely blown away by the level of service, skill, and professionalism that Rusty puts into his work. The photos are phenomenal, the communication was excellent, Rusty’s style and vision for our day was exactly what we wanted, and the entire time we were together I felt comfortable and at ease. By the end of the night, I felt like we were all best friends. I know that my wife and I were having a great time and I felt like Rusty had a lot of fun with us as well. Two days after the wedding Rusty had already sent us our Blank Booth portraits and a sneak peak at the pictures from the day, totaling 230 pictures. A little over a month after the wedding we had the entire collection and all of Rust’s photos. All in total, including engagement photos, the photo booth, and the rest of the wedding pictures we have over 1,000 beautiful photos of the absolute highest quality from who I believe to be the most exceptional photographer. I am eternally grateful for the experience we had with Waldron Photography and would absolutely recommend him to anyone in need of photography services.

Choosing Waldron was hands-down the best decision I made during the wedding planning process. Rusty is an absolute dream to work! He has a delightful personality and is very smart, creative, experienced, organized, highly efficient, punctual, and professional...the list goes on and on. Our photos from the engagement photos and wedding were stunning. My only regret is that I didn't have him at the rehearsal dinner too. Simply put, he is the best!

Where, oh where to begin? Rusty is just the best. Before you live your wedding day... you don't really know the full extent to just how much of an impact the vendors (who you will spend ALL day with) will have on EVERYONE's experience. They're in your family, they're in your wedding party, they're present for each moment big and small in your day. They've seen you grow from early planning and engagement photos to where you are when you get married. They see the journey. The laid-back energy, kindness, talent, and fun Rusty brought to our wedding was so incredibly special to Henry and I. Not only did Rusty deliver some incredible engagement and wedding photos, he made our personal experiences with getting married so much better than if he wasn't a part of it. Rusty knew just how important a good plan and good back up plan and back up to the back up plan was to me, and he excitedly would go over every detail with Henry and I however many times I wanted before the actual day... so when Rusty arrived to the bridesmaid suite I knew I could cruise into autopilot- he would take it from there. I could just be the bride and someone else would make sure it all happened. The photos he took for us will be some of our most prized possessions in our lifetime. He documented how we interact, how our family's love each other, how important our friends are, etc. and is able to communicate so much through his images. We say it all the time, but Rusty was the best decision we made for the wedding and we honestly didn't fully know that until we saw him that day. We knew he was good, trust me there... but we didn't realize until the day happened just how impactful it can be to have him in your corner on one of the biggest days of your life. Like everyone else says... you will not and could never be disappointed with Rusty. He has always exceeded any expectations and we are so, so thankful to him!

Wow, where can I even begin? Aside from our venue, picking our photographer was one of the most important aspects of our day that I wanted to get right. I spent hours researching photographers, created a crazy spreadsheet that had me feeling like a bridezilla, and realized Waldron was the only choice for us. During our engagement photos we were so concerned they would look awkward because we are both uncomfortable in front of the camera. Rusty put us at ease immediately and had several tricks to help us look natural. On our day Rusty and Addison were so professional and brought the perfect balance of directing/observing. They knew when to step in to pose everyone and when to step back to allow us to be present in the moment the whole day and evening. After our day Rusty got our pictures to us so quickly and we were blown away at how perfectly our day was captured. Looking at our photos brings us back to the feelings of that day and will allow us to relive it forever. To us this is priceless and we cannot recommend Waldron enough. Our only photo-related problem throughout the entire process is now selecting which photos are our favorites because they are all so fantastic :)

WOW, I don't even know where to begin when talking about how great Rusty is. Not only is he one of the nicest people we've ever met, but he's such a calming presence on a day that has potential to be extremely nerve-wracking. His photography skills are so unique, we are so grateful that he was a part of our wedding. He captures moments you would have never known even existed, and now we'll always get to cherish those moments through his photos. He was also so accommodating to our needs on the day of our wedding and everything leading up to it. He also didn't hesitate to travel for our winter mountain wedding. He will 100% be our go-to photographer for our future family.

Waldron Photography was my dream photography company. I first saw his work from a Facebook friend and I couldn't get over how beautiful the pictures were. When it was time for my wedding I knew exactly who I wanted to take my pictures. Rusty is not only a great photographer but also the coolest guy you will meet. We met with him 1 on 1 multiple times during our engagement planning process. He was so helpful in those meetings and over email/phone communication, as well. Our engagement pictures session was so fun, even my husband raved about how easy it was, and he hates taking pictures! When it came time for our big day I knew I had a great photographer to capture it but I never knew how big of a role the photographer made on our wedding day! You spend all day with your photographer and it helped that we had a great relationship with Rusty (and also that he is so easy to get along with!) We also had a 2nd photographer, Stephen, who was amazing and friendly as well. He helped out Rusty and manned the photo booth during the reception. And if I haven't convinced you of hiring Rusty yet, his photo booth, Blancbooth, is AMAZING. You MUST book the photo booth. I had multiple people use the pictures as family Christmas card photos! Not to bring pop culture in here, but it reminds me of the Kardashian photo booth if y'all know what I'm talking about! SOO GOOD! My one regret was not taking even more pictures in there during the night! Sorry for the long post but I can't thank Waldron Photography enough for everything. Truly the best and I would suggest to anyone! Thank you Rusty and Stephen!

Rusty was so incredible to work with for our wedding! Rusty and his crew did an amazing job with our engagement and wedding photos. Rusty is very personable and makes you feel comfortable throughout the whole process. If I could give more than 5 stars I would! Rusty at The Waldron Photograph Co. went above and beyond on our wedding day and in every conversation leading up to our magical day. As you plan a wedding, it's inevitable that you make a list of what's most important to you and your future spouse. Photographs capturing the aesthetic of our day were VERY important, way up on the top of our priority list. Rusty caught our eye because stylistically it fit the kind of journalistic approach to photography that we preferred. Rusty was a master ringleader, orchestrating an excitable (slightly tipsy) family for portraits. The candid shots caught every unplanned silly, special, romantic moment we wanted captured on our wedding day. He also made us look like straight up super models. I highly recommend Waldron photography. Rusty was the best. He has the ability to keep the environment relaxed but also gives enough direction so everyone feels confident. He doesn’t shoot the exact same way for every wedding, but rather customizes with your interest in mind. The 2nd photographer, Dustin, was super nice as well. They never seemed to be in the way, but somehow caught all the moments from afar! They truly captured the mood of the night. Also Waldron is extremely professional; all the little touches from payment system to the final package, made for a great overall experience.

Simply the best photography company you could choose for your wedding day! We originally met with Rusty and knew right away this was the right choice! Rusty is so laid back and chill. He wants to get to know you guys as a couple and truly cares how you are doing throughout the whole process. Rusty always told us to reach out if he can help us with anything, photography related or anything. We requested two photographers and Rusty brought Dustin with him on the wedding day. From the beginning before any contract had been signed , Rusty was professional , kind and accommodating. Planning a wedding from out of town comes with stresses- but knowing that our photographer was on board and offering to help in any way , making recommendations, presenting us with timelines - put us at ease. Rusty with Waldron Photograph Co. is top notch! Leading up to our wedding, he was in contact with us many times to get a feel for what we were looking to capture on our wedding day. On the wedding day, I essentially had no idea he was there which made things feel very authentic, yet he captured the most gorgeous images. He is extremely genuine and down to earth and could not make you feel more comfortable in front of the camera. Not to mention, he got a ton of highlight photos back to us by Sunday night after our Saturday wedding and had our entire wedding spread back to us within two weeks. BEST MONEY SPENT! Rusty is has a phenomenal ability to capture the candid and emotional moments as well as beautifully and artistically capture the classic wedding photos you desire. Not only does he take amazing photographs but he is a pleasure to work with and listens to everything you want and then delivers it through breathtaking photos. We absolutely love our photos from Rusty. From the moment we reached out to him to the day of our wedding to receiving the photos after, Rusty was professional, organized, detailed and thoughtful. We had a really long day, it being a Vietnamese wedding, but Rusty captured every moment beautifully. He made us and our families feel so relaxed and comfortable on the big day and even took the time to do the little things like learn the names of all our family members (just through a list we gave him at our consultation and careful observation the day of the wedding - making group portrait people arranging much more personal and a breeze), and setting the itinerary for the wedding - ensuring everything ran smoothly and on-time. Rusty is incredibly professional, wildly talented, hyper-organized, overwhelmingly helpful, genuinely kind, and overall just a pleasure to work with - and we’re so glad we did.

Rusty is amazing. My husband and I joke that we wish he could have come on our honeymoon too, because the way he captures moments is breathtaking. He brings out the true candor in people, and does it effortlessly. We are forever grateful to have had him as our wedding photographer, and will tell anyone and everyone who is willing to listen that he is the best. Besides being ridiculously talented, he is so incredibly generous and went above and beyond in delivering us our photos. We love Rusty!

Finding a wedding photographer can be stressful but from the moment we met Rusty we knew he would be perfect for us. There are not enough nice things to say about Rusty and the Waldron Photograph Co! Choosing our photographer for our wedding felt like such a big decision for us, especially because we are both very camera shy. After meeting with Rusty, we knew we had made the right choice! Our engagement photos and wedding photos were perfect - both my husband and I agreed Rusty must have some voodoo photography magic that makes every one look great in photos. Rusty captured all of the best candid moments of the day and made all the formal family and bridal party photos with family go smoothly and quickly - a huge plus for everyone involved, as it was sticky and hot and sweaty for our outdoor July wedding. He is a perfect blend of professionalism and artistic, getting all of the photos he knew we wanted, and some we didn't know we wanted that turned out to be our favorites! The turnaround on our photos was incredible. Honestly, the worst part of it all was trying to decide which ones to get printed (our solution - print all of them!). The cherry on top of the cake is that Rusty is one of the nicest people we've met - he works to make you comfortable and relaxed about the entire process from the moment you meet him.
