I went by the shop at the beginning of August. I lived 4 hours away. I talked to an employee who was very friendly. She said she would send me a quote once she talked to the owner. She did and I agreed with the quote and told them I didn’t want to rent their boxwood wall for $1,000.00 but agreed to the prices for the bridal flowers. September. I didn’t hear back so I emailed and ask if they needed a deposit. Crickets! Emailed again and again. Owner emailed me and asked for my phone number. I gave it to her. I never heard back. Called in November and got Nicole the owner. She said she didn’t have me down for January 8 wedding. In all my correspondence the wedding date and name was in the subject matter. She said she was booked with three other events and I told her they give me a quote and I agreed and she asked for my phone number to contact me. At first she said she couldn’t find my quote. After few minutes, she found it. She told me that an employee had left her in the “lurch” and the quote that I got was too low. Needless to say I was not happy. Never did she apologize. All she did was blame her former employee. In the end, I told her that she was responsible since she was the owner and obviously didn’t want to do the job and I didn’t want her to either. The moral of the story is don’t treat your customers like it’s their fault when it’s not. All she had to do was apologize and try to help me out in some way. She just kept saying she was “left in the lurch”. In the end, I was able to find a fabulous florist and wedding planner. Fleur Avenue Events. She did an amazing job with short notice. Nicole, you need to learn these 3 words to be successful “I am sorry.”

We highly recommend the Wandering Petal Florist. We came to VA beach from out of state & they gave us exactly what we wanted! The flowers were beautiful and she actually delivered them to where we were staying. She made our day very special! We highly recommend them!!!

We had the most beautiful flowers and centerpiece on Our wedding day, work with The Wandering petal was the best experience to had them for Our wedding day, everyone love love the flowers from the ceremony, reception and bouquets, beautiful centerpieces 700 candles in the venue, crystal centerpiece it was just over the top, very professional people, and they did what we want and requested for our special day 🤵🤵🌈
