HIGHLY DISCOURAGE ANYONE FROM HAVING AN EVENT HERE.I had my wedding here last weekend and the bartender was awful to my guests. My husband’s family is Mexican and two of his family...
members were refused drinks at an open bar with one of those drinks being a lemonade. The bartender ignored them multiple times throughout the night. I told the owner Greg this and he does not care about racial discrimination apparently and responded with “I am unable to ascertain the source of your information.” I listed off everything (which is all in this review) to Greg in an email about what this bartender did and he will not give us financial compensation due to the bartenders “single inappropriate remark” even though it was a pattern throughout the entire night. We paid a 20% tipping gratuity for the event and for an open bar so my guests should have never been forced to tip and it was an open bar so they should have not been refused drinks either. All night the bartender kept telling my guests “tipping is greatly appreciated”, would ignore guests who were not tipping, and guests who did not tip noticed a difference in the drink quality. One of my guests said the bartender poured the wrong drink so they asked for the correct drink and the bartender refused to pour the correct drink stating “Well, this drink is already poured.” Some of our guests started going to the ATM to grab cash to tip the bartender because they were so insistent. Some guests stopped going up to the bar because she was so rude to them. Matt who runs the events spoke with my mom and I and told us that Greg wanted to work towards a resolution. Greg did not work to a resolution at all. Matt and Greg no longer respond to calls or emails from us and refuse to make this situation right. Greg admitted in the response to my mom’s google review that guests were refused and being forced to give tips for drinks for an open bar. The owner refuses to give any financial compensation back from his bartender forcing my guests to tip and we paid for an open bar and for guests to get refused so the service we paid for is not what was delivered.
