Bill Young was our officiant for our May wedding and he was perfect! We loved his ceremony as it was meaningful and just the right length (~17 minutes with an added wine box ceremony!) he was easy for guests to understand and was very pleasant to meet with for all of our planning! We really enjoyed him and are so glad we chose Bill, He is just a wonderful person and knows how to perform a great ceremony!

It was great working with Bill Young, our Officiant for our wedding January 14, 2017. I did not use any of the other services The Wedding Authority had to offer as our venue, The White Room had wedding planning packages. The entire staff was great although most of our communication was through email as our wedding was out of town. Their responses were quick and timely. We will definitely use Bill again when we decide to renew our vow!! Now all Jason and I need to do is ring the bell next time we visit St. Augustine, which is usually several times a year.

ntment with Carla. And driving in after a 4 hour drive to meet with her, she totally blew off our appointment. She was at another venue setting up for a wedding and never contacted us to let us know she would not be able to keep this scheduled apptointment. Needless to say we will not be using this company to officiate our wedding. So disappointed, my daughter and future so-in-law and his parents were all let down by this company.

as as perfect a wedding day as possible. If an emergency arises on your wedding day, we are going to do whatever is necessary to handle the situation. I would assume that this Bride would expect the same special attention from us on her special day. The appointment was to view the venue not to meet with me personally. This bride emailed on Sept 12th saying she was coming to town on the 24th to look at venues and she already had other appointments, for her possible wedding in Nov 2018. We did give her a time to come to look at the venue here. We sent her pricing on reserving the venue along with what our package included. About 30 minutes before she arrived a wedding emergency situation arose and I had to leave the office. The other owner of the business was here to speak with them. The bride and groom walked around the space while Bill talked with the Mother and other people that were with them. I saw no reason to notify her that I wasn’t going to be here as she had all of the information including how much it cost and retainers. Bill has been here for 25+ years, so they were in good hands. My understanding the appointment was for everyone to view the venue which they were able to do. The next morning I emailed to the address on file with an apology and asked if she got all her questions answered, I have copied my email below. There wasn't any response to this communication. The next thing I saw was this review. "So sorry I missed you yesterday. We had a slight emergency with an off-site wedding, and it took "all hands on deck.I hope Bill was able to answer your questions, if not please give me a call or shoot me an email. No matter where you get married we wish you the best, Carla" I am sorry this bride was unhappy, as we love what we do and we certainly want her to have the wedding of her dreams. We are very confused as to why they wrote the review. After touring our venue, Bill did not think they were interested but he answered all their questions and told them to please call or email if they had more. He thought he developed a good relationship but did not think they were impressed by what they saw. That's why I dropped them a follow-up email the next day. Even though I did not have an appointment with them, I certainly did not blow them off.

My daughter and now son-in-law approached me about pulling together their dream wedding in St. Augustine, Fl a month before our already planned vacation and now future wedding date...

. Needless to say I had a lot of things to get in to order within a month to make this wedding a reality. This is when I approached The Wedding Authority, in particular a lady named Carla. Carla and The Wedding Authority made everything stress free and really easy to decipher. They had ready made information that I could choose from that made the process of planning out every detail easier than I could have imagined. Best of all, on the day of the wedding all of the preparations were beautiful and perfect. The location was absolutely magical. The flowers beautiful (Carla recommended a lady at the local Winn Dixie that was amazing), and the preacher was light, funny, and engaging. Everyone, especially my daughter and her husband, were delighted by every part of the day. I cannot say enough good things about all the help that was given to me by Carla and The Wedding Authority. I highly encourage anyone looking for spectacular help on their special day to reach out to them.
