We had Steve marry us this weekend and could not be happier with him. Things were extra complicated for us because my wife's mother is very sick and while we had hoped for her to ...
be at the wedding when the day came she just could not. Steve went out of his way to get ready early and come over to the house to perform a short 5 minute ceremony in her room. I can not thank him enough for making it so we could get married with all of our parents there.
In addition to making it possible for us to get married with everyone there he was very helpful the whole way through. He is very experienced and made things easy, from planning a personal ceremony to the marriage licenses. I have received tons of compliments about how beautiful our full ceremony was. I really felt like Steve's focus was on giving us exactly what we wanted. He has a lot of options for readings and ceremonies to choose from, and is also fine with you adding something of your own.
I can not recommend the Wedding Connection enough. With everything that happened on our wedding day Steve really made sure we got married the way we want, twice!
Our ceremony was the highlight of the night. We knew right away when we skyped with Stephen that he was who we wanted to perform our ceremony. He worked with us from start to finis...
h to create a ceremony that reflected both of us individually and as a couple. He was warm, kind, and easy to talk to. Such a great addition to our wedding day.
Miriam, a rabbi, co-officiated our wedding with Father Jack Baker, a Catholic priest with whom she frequently collaborates. She worked with us to craft a meaningful ceremony that r...
eflected our values and traditions. Miriam is very organized and early in the process, sent us a comprehensive packet on creating your own wedding ceremony, so we could select exactly which elements and readings we wanted to incorporate. Miriam got to know us well throughout the process and did a great job telling our story and tailoring her remarks specifically to us. We received many compliments on our ceremony from our family members and friends, and even received praise from a Catholic nun. We highly recommend Miriam to officiate at an interfaith wedding, or at any wedding for a couple that is looking to have a meaningful and personalized ceremony.
We worked with Stephen on crafting a secular, humanist outdoor wedding, and we could not have asked for a better experience. We had several friends and relatives tell us how moving...
the ceremony was, and how it was the best wedding they had ever been too! He went above and beyond his responsibilities, running our rehearsal and staying very organized and responsive throughout the planning process. As for my partner and I, Stephen helped us put together a ceremony that perfectly reflected our shared values. We cannot thank him enough!
Stephen was a dream to work with! Everyone we met with wouldn't allow us to have a truly custom ceremony, Stephen let us change and rearrange anything we wanted. Everyone complimen...
ted on what a wonderful and unique ceremony we had and that wouldn't have been possible if it weren't for the Wedding Connection!
We knew right away that we wanted Stephen to officiate our wedding. He was a joy to work with and made you feel comfortable and welcoming. You are able to personalize your ceremony...
as you would like and he has a structure you can go back and made it super easy for us to create a ceremony fit for us. He was quick to respond and made it easy through phone or email. I would highly recommend Stephen and the wedding connection to anyone!
Stephen was our officiant for our Wedding on August 21st. He was very prompt and customized the ceremony to our needs/wants. He also offered to attend our rehearsal which was very ...
helpful. He did a beautiful job at our ceremony and was very prompt. I would definetly recommend him to anyone in need of an officiant. Job well done!!

ames of our family members and wedding party and the details of our family members. She helped us arrange the whole ceremony and had great advice through the whole process. Our wedding ceremony was even more special because it was Miriam who married us.
Stephen did our wedding ceremony a few weeks ago and we were very pleased with it. When you meet with him, he lays out the entire ceremony for you and allows you to pick exactly h...
ow you want the ceremony structured and what you want him to say. He did a great job at the ceremony and is very professional and well spoken while he is talking. He was even very helpful right before the ceremony and made sure things were ready at our venue before it started. We couldn't be happier with him and we highly recommend him as an officiant.
We had Stephen as our officiant at our wedding and couldn't have been happier. He is friendly, warm and professional. Walked us through everything with our marriage license and cer...
emony, very accommodating. His ceremony was beautiful and perfect for our day.
My views on the Wedding Connection are a bit mixed, but I can say this. On the day of the wedding, Miriam did an absolutely phenomenal job. We had multiple people come up to us a...
fterwards and tell us that our officiant was fantastic and it was one of the best officiants they had ever seen. Prior to the wedding day, I had concerns about her attention to detail. We felt that some of the drafts we received were sloppy (misspelling names of family members that we had sent, extra words in sentences, etc.) and that some of the details we discussed had to be repeated. As someone who is very attentive to detail, and in a business where I routinely send written items to clients, this was a concern. As a result my husband and I had to do some very detailed editing of the ceremony. But really, on the day of, she came through and did an amazing job, and that is what was the most important to us. As such, these other concerns were lessened in our minds and that is why I give her 4 stars.
The way that Mariam gets to know you makes the ceremony so special! She connects with you on a personal level and makes the ceremony very rememberable for everyone!!
Our wedding was officiated by Miriam Jerris from The Wedding Connection. We truly enjoyed meeting with her and getting to know her leading up to the wedding. We got several complim...
ents on the beautiful ceremony she performed. She really personalized it and delivered it with warmth. I highly recommend Miriam to other couples!
We met with 3 different officiants that had great reviews. We clicked with Miriam the most during our first meeting. She is very personable and easy to talk to. The wedding day was...
a little chaotic at first. But when Miriam showed up she was so calming and it made me and my husband very relaxed and at ease. Her overall demeanor during the ceremony was exactly what we wanted.
The one thing that I was disappointed in is she doesn't do rehearsals. If you want a rehearsal her husband will do it for an additional cost.
Also, she said she would make sure she lined up the wedding party to walk down the aisle and she didn't. Luckily the reception manager did it on the whim. Looking back, I wish we had a phone meeting the week before the wedding to go over the ceremony and details. That would have definitely helped.
Steven of the Wedding Connection did a wonderful job.
We received so many compliments on our ceremony, and that's due in large part to Miriam of The Wedding Connection. She helped us create a ceremony that fit our relationship and ou...
r personalities, so much so that one of our guests asked if Miriam was our family friend, assuming that only someone who had known us for years could have spoken as she did. In truth, my groom and I had gotten to know her through a few e-mails and Skype sessions, since we don't live in MI. She's so personable and sincerely interested in learning about couples that we felt really comfortable and familiar with her. Her husband Stephen ran our rehearsal for a small fee, which was worth it when you consider 1) we had no idea what we were doing and 2) he not only ran the rehearsal, but he gave helpful tips that obviously came from his experience coordinating weddings. The Wedding Connection is wonderful.
I knew from my first meeting with Stephen that he was perfect to be my officiant. He was helpful in every way and made the wedding ceremony perfect.
Miriam Jerris is the best officiant I think I could have found. We worked with her to come up with the perfect ceremony, and she was just amazing. My husband and I are not religiou...
s in any way, but we still had an amazingly beautiful ceremony. She offers a wide range of options for the ceremony from more traditional to new age themes and can include basically every cultural tradition you could think of into the ceremony. While we stuck with simple and elegant, you can practically customize the whole thing to whatever your taste is (within reason).
We had a great experience with Miriam. She helped us write the perfect ceremony and was very organized and professional the whole way.
We live out of town from where our wedding was... He skyped with us to go over all details and make sure everything was set so we didnt have to make an extra drive to meet him. All...
our wedding guests thought he was fantastic. He provided us with a custom copy of our wedding ceremony afterwards.
Miriam and Steve are wonderful people and the ceramony they put together was fantastic. It was everything we wanted and more.
Stephen Stawicki was our officiant and did a wonderful job. Met with us and said exactly what we wanted and had talked about; no more, no less. It was just what we wanted!
The wedding connection personalized our ceremony perfectly. We didn't have to write our own vows but it still sounded like it suited us. The ceremony was short and sweet, which was...
good seeing as it was so hot. It was truly just what we wanted.
Miriam Jeris was our minister. She did an amazing job. She made an effort to get to know us which really meant something to us. She helps you create a ceremony based on what YOU ...
want - not just what the minister thinks you should have.
