Damien who I had a call with a few weeks prior and was present on my wedding day helped keep our reception timeline on track and communicated with me and the wedding coordinator through the night to make sure everything was going as planned. This band is absolutely awesome not to mention they have the absolute best musicians that made our wedding vision come to life. They are so interactive with the crowd and everyone could not stop dancing the entire night. No one will leave the dance floor with the Wedding Crashers. Thank you for everything!!!

n't find any we liked and I stumbled upon a reference for The Wedding Crashers on reddit! We were a little nervous to hire a band we had never seen live, but after our first call with Damien (and stalking tons of instagram videos from former wedding guests) we knew we made the right choice! In the lead-up, Damien was so responsive and really helped make our "laid back but fun" wedding dreams come to life - even as we navigated potential rain plans. The Wedding Crashers had everyone up on their feet the entire night. We provided very little guidance on songs and they just knew exactly which songs to sing to keep everyone dancing and the energy levels up. They even figured out how to play a last minute song request from my mom while they were eating dinner! If you're on the fence - don't hesitate. They have so much talent and were overall just great people to work with!

with us for weeks leading up to our late June wedding to confirm every detail and helped us curate the perfect playlist. He even helped us customize a few songs so that they would have maximum impact. We unfortunately had a sudden rain delay to our ceremony but Damien didn’t miss a beat and perfectly adjusted to ensure everything ran smoothly. The harpist was absolutely beautiful and made our ceremony feel like it was straight out of a story book. The wedding crashes ensured that our dance floor was always packed and the party never slowed down Its been a week since our wedding our guests are still raving about how amazing they were! Also, they let me as the bride (and lifelong d drummer), feature as the drummer in two songs that are special to us as a couple- and one of them wasn’t even planned beforehand. I would recommend this band to any bride and groom, and my sister is actually hiring them for her wedding next year, and I absolutely can’t wait to attend as a guest so I can dance the night away again with the Wedding Crashers. ed Damien's ability to read the room and appreciated that he wasn't going to make any promises that he wasn't sure would work for the crowd. If you want your guests of all ages to have a blast at your wedding - you can't go wrong with the wedding crashers!!

the beginning, Damien was friendly and easy to work with in getting our date reserved and contract set up. As our date approached, Kristy was prompt and answered all of our questions. A small note - if you are working with a coordinator, it was communicated to us early in our contract by Sumar that they prefers to work directly with the couple and venue contact. This ended up working out very well for us and led to a very seamless wedding day, but it did involve a little more contact on our end as a go-between in trying to keep our coordinator in the loop in the general flow of the day. We went with a ten-piece band, and each musician was so talented across all genres they played. All of our first dance songs were recordings, but there were a few special request songs we inquired about to see if they were in their repertoire to potentially play throughout the night. When we asked about this, I wasn’t sure if it would be possible for them to play them, but they completely blew us out of the water. Not only did they play the general requests we asked for, but it turns out they specifically learned one of the songs for our event. It was a HUGE hit, and we didn’t even find out until afterwards that they learned it just for that night. I was thrilled they took the time to do that. Additionally, I asked if they could play a specific song that was a personal request from me, and not only did they play this song but the bandleader actually came to find me and let me know they were about to play it so I could be out on the dance floor enjoying it. That extra step meant so much to me. Throughout the whole reception, there was never a moment when the vibe wasn’t high and everyone was out on the dance floor. They played a mix of songs that made us and our friends happy, in addition to the classics that had our entire families dancing all night. And as an added bonus, we got to relive some of our guests’ best dance moves on the Wedding Crashers' social media story the next day. We would highly recommend the Wedding crashers!

Our first Zoom meeting with Damien sealed the deal! The whole team is so kind and easy to work with, not to mention, they know what they're doing and they know how to read a room. We had guests coming up to us the entire night, and still have guests texting us two months later about how amazing they were. They honestly took our reception to the next level and people were up and dancing the entire evening, scream-singing all the songs. I even had a very particular song request for our walk-out and wanted them to play it again at another point in the night, and they did. It was comforting to know that the person we were speaking to would actually be performing on our wedding day. Damien and his team were super responsive throughout the process, which was VERY important to us. Another thing we loved is that the Wedding Crashers do not use a set list but rather select songs based on the energy of the crowd. After the wedding, all of our guests told us how amazing the band was - which we already knew because the dance floor was packed all night long. Even at the end of the night when it was time to transition to the After Party, the guests started chanting, “ONE MORE SONG!'' and they played one more song for us. It was an absolutely incredible experience. We also booked one of their DJs for the After Party, and he was playing hit after hit. It was great having two different vibes for our reception (band) vs after party (DJ). We had friends of ours text us one week later to tell us that they couldn’t stop thinking about how great the DJ was. 100/10 would definitely recommend!!!

ith a good mix . We did not provide a big play list, maybe 4 -5 songs, and as promised, they really did play to the room. We still have people coming up to us after telling us how great they sounded and how much fun they had. I can also say they made the process easy from start to finish. This was a very easy 5 star rating to give.

From the moment they started to the very end, the dance floor was packed. They were so good that at the end of the night everyone chanted "One more song" and they delivered one more song! The band was fun and energetic. Weeks later and we still have guests talking about how amazing they were. I HIGHLY recommend using them and will definitely be using them again for other events!

ere was no issue with requesting certain songs. Some bands will tell you "we will only learn up to 2 new songs"... but not the Wedding Crashers. They said "we're musicians. it's what we do". I knew I could trust them to set the vibe through the reception – from Sinatra to Springsteen to The Killers. And our guests agreed! We are still getting calls and texts about what a great party it was and how awesome the band was. Having people on the dance floor as so important to us, and The Wedding Crashers did not disappoint!!

We didn’t provide a specific list of songs to play or to avoid, and the band masterfully read the room and struck a balance between classics, 70s, 80s, 90s, and 2000s that was nailed down to an art. The dance floor was alive during the entire time. All our parents - with very different musical tastes - were happy, and so were all of our friends. Even though the venue was on the smaller side, the sound was crisp, clean, clear and not overwhelming. At no point did I feel that the drums were too much, or that the bass was overtaking everything, and the great sound quality helped a lot to bring and to keep people on the dance floor. The Jazz Quartet got great reviews as well, everyone said it set a wonderful tone for the cocktail hour. The staff at Sumar are great communicators, and were patient while answering all our questions. They didn’t mind when we changed plans several times, and worked with us even if we did things at the last minute. Final quote from the best man (who is also a drummer), during the event: “I’m torn between dancing with you and just standing at the front and watching them play”. True story.

They were dancing all night with their friends and family and I could tell it was exactly how they had hoped it would be. I know the Hora was exactly what we wanted - the 2nd horn was definitely an enhancement for that, so thank you for suggesting it. The singers were amazing and the energy from all the band was continuous all evening. The guests are telling us this was literally the best wedding they had ever been to, and sure part of it was the charismatic and stunning bride and groom, certainly, and the food and venue left nothing to be desired for sure as well, but the band made it - hands down - it was the band that left everyone feeling what they had been missing this past year and a half - fun! I have guests who swear they didn't take a break all night! I have others who are already recommending th3m for upcoming events, near and far. The only thing to note is that after booking, it is very hard to get a hold of them to communicate with them directly. The manager is also a band member so they are very busy playing and do not seem to prioritize you until you get a week or so out to your wedding date. So make sure upon signing and paying that you have clarity on all points and on expectations for future communication. We had not had meals for the band in the contract, and we had not communicated about what would be necessary for the hora we wanted, so the week before got a bit hectic with adding in meals for 10 members and adding a horn to the band to meet what was needed. But the band itself was beyond anything we could have wanted. They were amazing and I highly recommend them!
