Daniela was such an amazing dance instructor! We came to her wanting some ideas for an upbeat, fun first dance and she helped us pick our song and gave us the tools for a show stopping first dance during our lessons! We had so much fun during our lessons which was just the cherry on top. Thank you Daniela!

Hands down the BEST instructor and idea for our wedding dance! Daniela was the most amazing instructor. Her instruction was fresh, fun and playful. Our wedding dance brought everyone to tears. 100 percent recommend!

Our experience: We used Daniela to help us with our first dance as Husband and Wife & I used Daniela to help find the right dance routine for my dance with my mom. Review: For the people who are looking to really add a meaningful experience to their wedding planning process look no further. Daniela single handedly added so much to the months leading up to our wedding and to our wedding day, itself. Her teaching style is so collaborative and fun. From where we started on our first lesson to what my wife and I were able to show to our guests was a complete transformation. Every step of the way she helped us find new ways to move and enjoy the process of dancing. Of all the preparations you will have to do for your wedding there will be none that will be this fun and create more of a bonding experience.

Daniela is amazing! We wanted to have a special first dance together and she definitely made it happen! Our guests absolutely loved it! Even my husband had fun! It was personalized to what we envisioned and it helped made our wedding so unique and so special. We can't thank her enough!

Daniela took us on as clients literally a month out from our wedding and was absolutely amazing. I (the groom) was not sold on the need for lessons for our wedding. I was very wrong and surprised how fun the experience was. Daniela was so fun to work with. She was beyond flexible and accommodating. And our sessions were a blast. She’s an incredible teacher. We learned a lot each class and our first dance was one of the hits of our wedding. I want to keep taking lessons! We highly recommend working with her.

Daniela is incredibly talented, so much fun to work with, and made my wedding day extra special with her beautiful choreography. I came to her with my dad to learn the Waltz, and in just 2 classes she had us looking like we’d been doing it for a long time! She was patient, worked within our boundaries, and I couldn’t recommend her enough!

Our first dance was THE defining moment that kickstarted our long awaited wedding reception! All of our guests were in awe and multiple came up to us afterwards saying they could not believe we could dance like that- and it is all thanks to Daniela! She was not only extremely patient with us as the day of approached and stress was heightened, but she took the idea for our first song and completely transformed it! It wasn't just a dance, it was a show! We had an introduction, a dance off, spins, a lift, and even a dip. She really came to each lesson having thought about what we wanted to achieve, and had fresh ideas that capitalized on our strengths. Our dance looked natural and not rehearsed. This was not only amazing for our wedding, but we felt like we had a fun activity as a couple that we looked forward to every week!

My fiancé (now wife) and I always had two left feet when it came to dancing, but with some help from Daniela we were able to nail the routine for our first dance and surprise our guests! We were initially nervous about taking dance lessons, but Daniela is a fun person to be around and made us feel very comfortable throughout the whole process. Daniela was keen to point out the little things we didn't realize we were doing wrong which helped us improve quickly from lesson to lesson. I took a few classes with my dad to practice our first dance, and then just one class with my fiance - three in total for me. I have zero dance experience and was worried I wouldn't learn much in such a short period of time. Daniela did a fantastic job. She broke down the steps very easy and was able to work with our style and songs. The classes were very fun and though they went by quickly, we learned a lot! Daniela was amazing! Neither one of us had any ballroom experience and she was such a great teacher. Not only did she help us nail our first dance, but we were able to use the basics to dance together for the rest of the evening. Dancing had been a major source of anxiety for me, but I ended up having SO much fun and we were out on the floor all night. Throughout all the wedding planning, I think my favorite memories are practicing our steps with my (now) husband in our basement – truly a special time together for us! Thank you, Daniela!!

We contacted Daniela about three weeks before our wedding and we’re so glad we did! Everyone complimented us on our dance on how cute and lovely it was! She really makes your lessons personal and private which really worked out for us. She works at your pace but at the same time makes sure you get enough steps to make your dance look nice at each lesson. I also had lessons with my dad and she catered the lessons to how much he can handle which was great especially because my dad rarely ever dances! We had two lessons each with my husband and father and she made sure by the last lesson we had a nice complete look. Daniela is an an amazing teacher! She was able to get us to go from not knowing how to dance to learning the foxtrot. She is a dedicated, patience, and thorough person and instructor. We are so happy we found The Wedding dance Lady and look forward to many dances to come.

Daniela Del Giorno is a wonderful, professional and patient dance instructor. I'm so glad I found her with a Google search! I was looking for team building ideas for my staff and I thought that dance lessons would not only be a great way to bring my staff together but would also be a lot of fun. I was right and it was Daniela who made our event one that my staff and I will never forget. Most of us were beginners and Daniela made the steps very easy to follow. I would recommend Daniela for all events!!

With just two lessons, Daniela helped my husband and I prepare the perfect first dance for our wedding day! Daniela was very accomodating and reserved studio space right here in Manhattan. Upon meeting with her for our first lesson, we learned that the song we selected ("Annie's Song" by John Denver) is a very difficult Viennese Waltz, but Daniela helped us learn a more simple and elegant waltz to pair with the music. At the wedding, our guests were so impressed. (I think we surprised ourselves, too!) Daniela is a wonderful teacher. Our only regret is that we did not schedule lessons with her sooner, because we had so much fun! We hope to sign up for future classes with Daniela to learn other styles of dance. We highly recommend booking a lesson...or several!

To summarize, Daniela (The Wedding Dance Lady) did an incredible job as our instructor. We had a somewhat shortened time window to get our lessons in, so had 6 lessons altogether. I will count them as some of the best memories of the months leading up to our wedding. We had the chance to take a break from all of our planning, have some fun, and also prepare a beautiful dance routine. And this was all possible because of Daniela - she was friendly, funny, and professional, and above all, made us feel comfortable. She kept things simple for us, but also introduced a few more advanced steps to make the dance really stand out on our wedding day. Our guests were very impressed, to say the least. But I must emphasize, that taking dance lessons with Daniela was definitely the funnest part of our "wedding prep" - it didn't feel like work at all. And this is coming from someone who never had anything close to dance instruction previously. I would recommend her to anyone looking for a wedding dance (or any dance) instructor. And if you are on the fence about taking lessons generally - I definitely recommend doing so. Instead of rocking back and forth awkwardly in front of 130 guests, we made the most of our first dance with a well planned (but natural looking) routine, had a blast doing so, and gave our guests something to talk about!
