Godfrey presided over our wedding. I chose him because I was impressed by his voice. I read several reviews on his tardiness, which concerned me, but he was on-time for our wedding...

It was evident though that he is far more familiar with the script that "The Wedding Officiant" produces rather than practicing and preforming a script that is a labor of love written by the bride and groom. I think I could've recited our ceremony by the time I actually got to the ceremony...but instead of swimming in bliss while listening to the masterpiece we crafted, I made a few funny faces when Godfrey messed up. It was small in the grand scheme, hardly anyone knew but me, but I will not forget that he read "they're" as "they" "re". Had I spent a lot of money on our ceremony, I would've been upset. But in the end we were married, which is exactly what we wanted.

He has a strong but soothing voice that captures your attention from beginning to end and took the time to speak with us several times before our event. I would strongly recommend The Wedding Officiant to couples getting married in the San Diego area. Godfrey and his wife Ruth are amazing people and will not disappoint you.
Very personalized and professional services
Godfrey was good to work with. He kept in touch before the wedding, and made sure he knew exactly what we wanted. He used a ceremony written by us, and did it beautifully.
