On the day of, two wedding coordinators were assigned to check in on me constantly and get me anything I could’ve ever needed or wanted (even though I never needed anything because they took care of every detail)! We toured multiple other venues in the area and did not feel the sense of ease as we did at the wedding retreat. I’m so grateful we chose there! The DJ was great, open bar has tons of options, the food was very good, the cake was delicious, and again everything was handled for us. Any additions or changes that we wanted to make were welcomed. Strongly recommend touring and seeing it for yourself!

didn’t have to think about a thing bc the wedding day coordinator didn’t let me. The planning process was a breeze bc I sent my Pinterest board and THEY made everything come to life.

an all inclusive I didn’t have to plan much but that also was a downside because I couldn’t choose my vendors. Let me start from the beginning. We had a schedule that i made that was written out through the venues portal. My bridal party arrived at 8AM. When I got there, there was no one to greet me. The Mamosas were still wrapped up and in the fridge. I thought not a big. The first time someone came in to talk to me was to tell me the hairstylist needed to move her car. No problem. We had about 10 people in the bridal suite we were going through mamosas rather quickly. Since we didn’t have anyone checking on us my bridesmaids had to leave and find them to get more. The photographers were clearly in over their heads. There were 2. They would both shoot at the same time so we didn’t know who to look at. I got some blurry photos. They had no idea on how to pose us or any fun poses. At one point the lady looked at me and said so do you have any ideas? I waited to review them until I got some photos back. They have sent 700 and I love 85 of them. I am happy to have the photos don’t get me wrong but I should have been blown away. When I was having special moments with my mom one of bridesmaids had to go get a photographer and her response was can you give me 10 min because she was taking photos of the welcome table. The DJ announced us with the wrong last name. That is a moment I will never get back. They also played a song that was in our do not play list. They played mostly line dances which wasn’t what I asked for. I had a list of 100 songs for them to play and they played a lot that weren’t on there. I was suppose to have a day of coordinator but every time something went wrong I had to send a bridesmaid to get someone. The food was great we did the grazing stations. We had a good time because we made the best of it. When we got our preview of our photos I was upset and asked to speak with the owner they said no. The communication was lacking. It’s a beautiful venue but they really need to vet their vendors better. I posted some photos as examples.

s responsive, helpful and so sweet. They made planning a wedding ridiculously easy and made it absolutely beautiful. Can't say enough good things about this place. All of my guests (and myself and new husband) had the time of our lives. The DJ was great, had so many compliments on the food/cake and the pictures are incredible. And all of this was included in the price!

y! But its really the staff that i want to review! Every person there is so focused on making sure the wedding is exactly how you want it to be. They focus on every detail! They make you feel completely at ease every step of the way. They are so organized. They respond to every question. They are there to make your day exactly your dream! They truley go above and beyond, then find a way to go beyond that. This place and staff are absolutely amazing. If possible, i would give them 10 stars!

The whole staff at The Wedding Retreat went above and beyond during my wedding day with continuous check-ins, a walk-through, and always made me feel extremely welcome. The staff also made sure that my husband was taken care of, as well as ALL of my guests. Everyone is super friendly and I will always recommend The Wedding Retreat for anyone who is about to get married. If you’re reading this review and contemplating if this venue is the one or not, I promise you IT IS. You will not be disappointed! Thank you Krista and everyone who went above and beyond for my wedding, you made my wedding unforgettable!

th the undivided attention I got from ALL of the staff members. I cannot express how happy I was with how every aspect of the day turned out. The attention to detail was bar none. They ensured everything was on schedule, they checked up on us regularly throughout the getting-ready process, they even took care of items from outside vendors! Everything was done so smoothly, I didn’t stress or worry about anything whatsoever. Oh and the decor!!! They went above and beyond with the decorations. In addition, their all-inclusive package made everything a breeze not having to worry about booking 50 vendors. The place is breathtaking and the pictures came out extremely gorgeous as a result of how manicured this site is. I would highly recommend this venue if you, or someone you know, is looking to have the Wedding of their dreams.

decor. Everyone was very surprised to see how elegant our rustic wedding was. Every detail I mentioned, she made sure it happened. Her wedding cake vendor is AMAZING also. Everyone who sees our photos raves about the decor and ambiance of the venue. I couldn’t be happier with how easy the whole process was with her help. I sent her pictures and she made it all happen. We stayed within our budget too and even I’m surprised that I was able to do that!

le to review the tablescapes the day before. The day of, we were provided with a suite for both myself and husband and they brought us sandwiches and water. My bouquet and my husband's boutonniere (as well as bridesmaids bouquets and groomsmen boutonnieres) were provided. We got to keep ours which is a great keepsake. Additionally, they provided the guestbook that we chose (Jenga). Things did not go as planned (through the fault of the bridal party) and they kept things going smoothly. Lindsey Vander Wal did both our engagement shoot and our wedding photography. Her skills are INCREDIBLE and she is so affordable. She always knows the perfect way to capture the moment. AND her services are included in the all-inclusive price. And a special thank you to Krista Nestor, the best wedding planner (and owner of The Wedding Retreat). She made everything so easy for all of us. We had no concerns, EVER. She is so communicative and I could get in touch with her so quickly. She understood the vision we were going for and made it come to life. If you want to have a stress-free wedding, this is the place to do it. All we had to do was provide our officiant and the alcohol. Good luck to everyone planning a wedding in the future. There are so many options to choose from but for us, these vendors were the absolute best choices.

was just right and that we were comfortable on the day of. Not only did we have AMAZING weather, but the staff at the wedding retreat really did a great job. The wedding was beautiful, the venue is rustic and just gorgeous. Lindsey Vander Wal did an awesome job with pictures. Really couldn't have asked for anything else. I HIGHLY recommend them if you're looking for the perfect outdoor wedding.

ve more of a take charge attitude. 2. Lights in the barn should be lit better. Half of the lights behind the bride and groom were not working. 3. I would suggest more than one generator or a bigger one. When introducing the Newlyweds and her party the mic should not cut out so much. 4. Better AC for the bridal sweet. 5. Maybe step up the bathroom game. 6. Change walkway to something other than rocks. 7. If you have a unity ceremony. Maybe put it towards the front, that way people can actually see you performing this coming together moment. Besides that, you get what you pay for. Nice. But I would be more involved and not wait 2 weeks before the wedding to go over details that should have been covered months in advance.
