Pastor Phillip Rogers did an amazing job officiating our wedding. He brings a strong message about marriage based on God that appeals to people of all views. Pastor Phillip provides great recommendations to personalize your ceremony while providing structure with his message. Quincy and I not only appreciated his ceremony, as did many of our guests. I would recommend him for anyone religious or not as he provides a ceremony that everyone will have strong take-aways to build their marriage.

Pastor Phillip did a great job and gave a great message at our ceremony! We received so many compliments regarding his performance and the event as a whole. He did a great job of adding personal touches that make our ceremony ours. The only reason I didn't give him a 5 star rating is because he pronounced my name incorrectly a few time throughout the ceremony, but recovered for the end!

Held in the historic Redford Theatre in Detroit, our wedding was a spectacular (yet respectful) tribute to our Star Wars fandom; complete with Stormtroopers, lightsabers, theme music, and creative uses of the movie screen! Pastor Phillip integrated a beautiful interfaith ceremony that was both serious and hilarious at times, and held the attention of every audience member in the best possible way. It was perfectly "us," all thanks to Pastor Phillip's expert grasp of who we are as a couple. He takes the time to truly get to know you, and does not simply read from a canned script. We could not imagine our wedding being as amazing as it was without him!

Pastor Phil Rogers's was the perfect fit for my wife and I’s wedding. First and foremost, his Baptist/christian faith was what we were looking for to honor God and our familys with relevant biblical scripture to our ever after and Phil picked the perfect passages. Second, Phil has a great sense of humor and definitely helped and told stories of meeting my wife and I and humorous/loving stories of his grandparents love; which helped me eliminate a lot of nervousness I had before giving my vows and standing in front of everyone before one of the biggest moments of my life. Third, Phil was very accommodating in our wedding (my wife being half Jewish) in helping us set up the traditional glass stomping tradition and explaining its history/relevance and we also chose to bring soil from our families gardens to put the soil together for one small tree we would plant to signify bringing our family’s/bodies from dust of the earth together to develop life (tree growth). All this being said, Phil is In so many ways the perfect pastor to do your wedding. Any denomination will be a comfortable fit for his services and any traditions you may have, he’ll be happy to accommodate and further explain during the ceremony. Phil certainly has a way of making each person in the room feel like the most important person there when he’s speaking to you. He truly has a gift and God’s guidance when he is in element.
