He got the final outline to us 2 weeks before the wedding so we had plenty of time to read it over and make adjustments as needed, but we didn’t need to make many adjustments since it was nearly perfect. He came to our rehearsal and immediately took charge, making the rehearsal run smoothly and everyone felt comfortable with their role after one run through. Our wedding ceremony was everything we wanted and we are so thankful for all the work Dave put it to making it that way! You will not regret hiring Dave to officiant your wedding. He truly is that good and insanely professional but also knows when to joke around and make light of situations. Thank you Dave!

We definitely felt understood and heard about what we wanted for our ceremony. We planned a very small wedding with only our immediate family present. He made sure to include everyone and kept the energy up through the duration of the ceremony. He knew which areas of our venue would be best for us. He worked wonderfully with the photographers to ensure they got what they needed. We had something happen that altered the placement of our planned ceremony, Rev. Angle handled it professionally and we made adjustments as necessary and we are so grateful for him and his calm presence. Rev. Angle said he’s done hundreds of weddings, and you can tell, in a good way! He made us feel so special and felt the love and enthusiasm through the whole event.

While we were talking about the ceremony timeline, I tried to keep it formal and was turned off by the idea of jokes in his script, but when the time came for us to stand up in front of all of our loved ones... let me tell you, his jokes were perfect and just what we needed to take all the ceremony anxiety away. At the end of this experience, it truly felt like Reverend Dave was a family member.

It was exactly what we were looking for. Before the wedding, he took the time to meet again and learn every detail of our love story. For the rehearsal and before the wedding he made sure our wedding party would look their best for the photos. And for the wedding he was amazing. He gave us a lovely ceremony while being sentimental and funny. I'd never heard so many laughs at a wedding but he also made sure to add the right amount of a religious component which was very important to us. The most important thing he did was get out of the way for our first kiss as a married couple to make sure the photo was perfect! His attention to detail cannot be matched for your big day when there are so many details to keep track of. I would recommend him to anyone and would give him 6 out of 5 stars if I could. HIRE HIM.

We chose his full service package, which was regular pre marital counseling and coaching etc. This was the real value to us, and his wedding day performance (as well as thorough rehearsal day coaching) was the icing on the cake and a treat for our guests. Even the other vendors were very pleased with how well he worked with them (and in some cases, did their job for them…that’s how thorough Rev Dave is). I believe we set the bar high for any future newly weds who attended our event. Above and beyond, 5 star experience, we highly recommend The Wedding Rev.

h. I messaged Dave on May 17th, 2022 interested in a virtual wedding on June 4th, 2022. Yes, that's right, a mere 18 days before the wedding. And miraculously he was available! We had a meeting and again, his personality, his jokes, his ease just made us feel so comfortable with him so fast! He seamlessly walked us through the marriage licence application, had wonderful advice, and prepared is all in a short 18 days. We eloped June 4th, 2022, virtually, and it was beyond perfect and he helped calm our nerves over the phone. My husband and I had the pleasure of having Rev. Dave marry us TWICE! In August of 2022, we decided to renew our vows for our one year anniversary and celebrate our marriage with family and friends, so again we reached out to Dave and he was ready to marry us again! Dave helped us through the process all over again, taking an incredible amount of time to learn about our love story and tailor the ceremony script to fit us. It's been two weeks since the vow renewal on 6/4/23, and we are STILL hearing from family and friends how amazing and truly personal the ceremony was. People could not stop complimenting Dave! We were able to exchange not only set traditional vows but also some personally written vows. I cannot recommend Rev Dave enough if looking for someone to preform your ceremony. From our first zoom meeting to just say hello and get a vibe, we knew about 2 minutes in that he was perfect for us. The highest of fives to Rev Dave!

his was the most unique ceremony our guests have been to) and felt that we had a lot of input into the ceremony script which we appreciated. Rev. Dave sends you the script to review the week before so you can make edits and it helps to be aware of the flow of the ceremony as well. We got to personalize our vows which neither of us heard until the day of which ended up being really fun. Booking Rev. Dave as your officiant is definitely expensive though! Probably double the price of what standard officiants will charge (he doesn’t tell you pricing until after you have a Zoom call with him which is smart but is also probably more than we would have initially wanted to spend). At the end of the day, did we get a ceremony that represented us as the couple and was engaging, funny, and unique? Yes. Was it very expensive? Also yes. Our ceremony went really well, but my only comment is that some of the more religious parts we asked to take out from the standard parts of the script (we are not religious) still stayed (references to God etc.) I think because it is probably habit from other ceremonies. It ended up being fine but thought it was worth noting for other couples who might be in the same boat.

Throughout our ceremony he had people in the audience laughing at little stories/jokes about our relationship, friends, and family while still maintaining the seriousness that a wedding should portray. It really kept the whole thing light-hearted and fun rather than making it seem scripted which ceremonies can sometimes be. I can't tell you how many of our guests mentioned that it was one of the best ceremonies they had attended! Overall, we had a blast with Reverend Dave and if you are looking to have a great time at your wedding ceremony I cannot recommend him enough, you will not regret it!
