d since they were young and I had no idea what I wanted. I was surprised how quickly we found THE ONE!!! I was a little nervous as I am full busted and many styles I see online for the modern day bride have no chest! She made me feel so comfortable and when I came in for my first fitting everything fit PERFECTLY!! Aside from Traci helping me the other ladies at the Wedding Shoppe and the owner Patty weighed in and helped me with the veil and accessories. It was so fun!! I felt like I was in a movie with everyone helping me!! Traci also helped me pick out bridesmaid dresses for all 6 girls and made the ordering process very quick and easy for them! I highly recommend the Wedding Shoppe!!

I also did my alterations there and Christina was a pleasure working with. She was super accommodating and allowed me to have as many visits I needed until I felt 100 % happy with how the dress fit. We were there are Saturday 1/20 and were very rushed (we were there for maybe 30 minutes when we had an hour scheduled) and it was made very clear by the woman "helping" us that she'd rather be doing anything else. I could not believe the amount of rudeness and flat our disrespect she showed to us. I didn't catch her name (because she didn't introduce herself) but she was older and had short blonde hair. I didn't care if we had found the world's best dress, there was ZERO chance I was giving money to a business that conducts themselves in this manner and treats their customers poor at best. Again, if you're looking for, what should be, a fun and exciting day with your family and friends dress shopping, stay away from this place!

such a beautiful selection! I went in saying "no strapless, no fitted, this specific designer". Needless to say, I almost left with a strapless fitted dress, lol! The women that helped me were so great. I can only imagine how hard their job is! Especially because I really thought I knew what I wanted. The part I did not take into consideration was the fact that the model was 6 ft. tall and I am 5 ft tall. My dream dress looked ridiculous on me. Thankfully the women really know what looks best on a shorty like me :) I had it narrowed down to 2 dresses, (both fitted ha). When I came back to try them on again the owner Pattie helped me. She was so patient with me as I tried on each dress about 8 times before I made my final decision! I couldn't have been happier either. My dress was stunning! All of the dresses I tried on here were such high quality. It truly makes a difference in the way they fit and look. Mine was so comfortable and I was able to move and dance the night away! I would recommend The Wedding Shoppe to any brides, bridesmaids, MOB/MOG! They have a downstairs filled with a huge selection of beautiful bridesmaids and MOB/MOG dresses.

e loved but she explained that it didn't come in the color I wanted and so I was going to have to pick another color, I was a little bummed but loved the dress so thought I would do this. We asked the woman to take my MOH's measurements so we could call in to order the dress and she just replied by saying "I can't give them to you" ... we didn't want them ourselves, we wanted them on record so we could call and order the dress!! She was just totally weird and not a great experience. On top of this, we had our next appointment at Elizabeth Johns and NOT ONLY did we find the same dress but they had it in the EXACT color I wanted!!! So strange that this place told me it didn't come in the color. Anyway, I would stay away if you want a GOOD experience, because we certainly did not.

s. In doing so, we finally got to the one. It had all of the elements I was looking for, plus more. It wasn’t until I worked with Aida, the seamstress provided by the shop, that it truly became MY dress. Aida was absolutely amazing with her talent! I was having issues with the fabric irritating my very sensitive skin and she was able to adjust the neckline so that it sat just right without making me red and blotchy. Overall, I was very happy with the service at The Wedding Shoppe and beyond happy with Aida.

customer. Word for word, I was told "we don't do that here"... I'm baffled as to why you cannot disclose this to the community. Completely rude, unwilling to help, and just lost a potential customer.

d sweet, and has the nicest and most welcoming people who work there. I worked with Marie and she was just fantastic. I cannot sing her enough praises! With four daughters and 30 years of experience, she knows a thing or two about dress shopping! She listened to what I had in mind, and found really beautiful and unique couture dresses for me. I felt like a model and so Hollywood glam the entire time! The space allows for privacy and has a beautiful selection. Each piece is selected by the owner and you can tell that nearly every dress has its own story (which, as a bride, is important to me.) For example, one of the most beautiful dresses I tried on was from a small town in Italy, where two sisters create each design with the utmost detail, and they don't sell their pieces in the US, so Patty has to go and bring them to her boutique for us brides to try! Love it. The veil selection is lovely and it was such a joy, trying on different styles. Marie was sweet, honest and didn't try to pressure me to make any big decisions on the spot. The last thing you want is to go somewhere and feel that way! I highly recommend this as a place for brides to check out when dress shopping. I now live in Florida and the trip here was totally worthwhile.

daughter try on a gown they had just gotten in the shop that she thought would look good on her. I will never forget the look on my daughter's face when she realized the gown Marie chose was "the one." If not for Marie's experience and professionalism, my daughter may have settled for a lesser gown. When Marie chose a veil she thought would complement the gown, the decision was made! The gown was ordered and came in before schedule. Each time my daughter tried the gown on, she fell more in love with it, and the staff was equally as excited as she. Cyndi was the seamstress, and she was amazing. She was also very willing to accommodate my daughter with her fittings, as my daughter lives out of town. My daughter ended up with a timeless, classic, elegant wedding dress that fit into her budget.

and did not listen to anything that I wanted. She made it a point to tell us how budget conscious the shop was and then the first 3 dresses were over budget (the rest could have been also. I stopped checking. We had to look ourselves at the tag - she did not offer up the information as promised. Once we did ask her how much it was and after looking at the price, she said that the price shouldn't matter and we should worry about what looked good on). I had previously been dress shopping and didn't want a fitted dress below the waist. She kept pulling dresses that were fitted and that I did not like, and she insisted that I try them. The few that I did like, the consultant seemed very surprised that they looked good. She commented that one of the dresses I had on complemented my "pink skin" and kept interrupting the conversations between myself and my guests at the appointment. She pricked me with the dress clips and didn't apologize. She was rushing us through the appointment, running away from me back to the fitting room. As we were leaving, the other consultants were talking badly about the appearance a bride that did not show up to her appointment. Would not recommend.

own hair and clothes were nothing short of bizarre. And when my size 14 body wouldn't fit into any of the size 8 or 10 dresses they had, she suggested I just put the smaller dress on and hold the top up. She didn't seem to understand the idea that it was too small. And no mention was made of larger sizes being available anywhere in the store. We also shopped around and found that not only was their selection not up to par if you're more than a size 8, they were very pricey compared to other shops in the area.

altered here too because the dress was very delicate and I wanted my seamstress to be comfortable/familiar with my dress' designer. It did take my dress almost a year to come in - but this was the designer being in London and not the salon's fault, so make sure you have enough time before your wedding to order. The only feedback I would give to The Wedding Shoppe is that sometimes the service I received via phone or at the reception area was rude. I understand there are times when the consultants are with appointments but they really should have a dedicated receptionist or cashier. Often times when I would call to check in on my order (due to the fact that it took almost a year to come in) and the person answering the phone would be rude to me which was pretty unsettling to me as I was spending a significant amount of money purchasing my wedding dress there.

lt to find and nickel-free earrings. While my experience trying on bridal gowns was okay, it was nothing to write home about. First, the store switched consultants on me within the first few minutes of my appointment, setting things off to an odd start. Second, I didn't like that I wasn't able to take any photos of dresses - I found a dress I loved, but not being able to take a photo actually made me not buy it. I couldn't remember what it actually looked like on me! Third, the consultant, while helpful, seemed to more be going through the motions than anything else. My second visit was even worse. I didn't have an appointment - I only went into to try on shoes and look for earrings. The receptionist "helped" me, but it really wasn't helpful. Let's start with the shoes. The receptionist actually gave me complete misinformation about the shoe brand I was looking for. I left empty handed, only to go to another bridal store in the area that carries the same shoe brand to find a pair that worked perfectly for me. Moving on the earrings, I'll start by saying I have a terrible nickel allergy. I cannot wear any jewelry with nickel at all and clearly stated this. After finding out that none of the jewelry the store carried was nickel-free, the woman actually said, "why don't you just coat the posts with nail polish?" While I'll give it to her that she was attempting to find a solution, I find it a bit insulting that she was proposing I buy $300+ earrings only to coat them with nail polish for a quick fix. If I were you, unless this is the only store that carries a designer you're looking for, I'd recommend looking elsewhere. You can find much better service and nicer looking stores.

evel of service you receive is generally very good, but depends a little on which sales consultant you have. I was lucky to work with Tracey for most of the process, and she was absolutely wonderful. She was patient and low key but also decisive and was willing to share her opinion, which I really appreciated. I went to several other stores during the dress search and really did not like working with consultants who just stood there passively. My bridesmaids ended ip purchasing their dresses at stores closer to where they lived, both because of convenience and also because they found better prices. I bought my veil and belt at The Wedding Shoppe, but be prepared to spend. Their stuff is beautiful but not cheap. Their shoe selection was a bit small and they don't have many flats, so I ended up purchasing my shoes online. Overall, a great experience and I would highly recommend them.

trunk show. We made an appointment and I brought a bunch of pictures with me from pinterest/cut-outs from bridal magazines of the type of dress I wanted. I showed Andee the pictures and she said without hesitation, “You need to try this one on.” That was the first dress I tried on, and was also the one I ended up purchasing later that morning. It was such a good pick from Andee…it brought tears to my sister’s eyes, not once, but twice when I had it on. I tried on a few other dresses after the “first” dress – they didn’t have the same impact on my sister. ;) I greatly thank Andee for making the dress picking so seamless… I didn’t have to look any further! After I brought the dress, Andee continued to follow-up with me, made sure my bridesmaids had what they needed, helped both my sister and I with the shoes, and made sure we had everything we needed delivered in a timely manner. As Andee put it, "You will not find a better dress... The dress is not wearing you, and you are not out wearing that dress." Andee is quite the matchmaker! Cyndi, the Wedding Shoppe’s Seamstress, is also Fantastic! Cyndi has excellent attention to detail. I had numerous fittings (my dress was very detailed) and Cyndi really knew what had to be done so the dress fit like a glove. She did an amazing bustle on my dress (even had matching pearls/ribbons for each tie), and pressed my dress/veils perfectly before the big day. She is one of the sweetest people I have ever met, and really made sure everything was Perfect! I also had Cyndi work on my rehearsal dinner dress and my sister’s bridesmaid dress. Overall, I really, couldn’t have asked for a better experience. Both ladies are professionals in their areas of expertise.

uring a trunk show! When I showed my mother and my sister the dress, when they came with me, they fell in love with it as much as I did! You have no idea the compliments I have gotten and still get to this day about my dress, veil and shoes! You guys did such a great job helping me out and our seamstress Cydni Kuhn was an absolute doll! She did such a fabulous job in making the dress mine and fitting me so well! She was helpful, funny, and easy to work with the entire time! And she was understanding of me when I told her I was losing weight and she worked with me on that. she was the best!! Thank you so much, Cyndi!! :) I have been told that I looked like a princess and an angel on our big day and I have to say I felt like an absolute princess on my wedding day! Thank you so much for all your help and for being such sweet people! :) It was an absolute pleasure to work with you girls and I plan to suggest your shop to everyone!!!! ♥

ave us a general overview of the dresses and told us to pick out what we liked. When Donna arrived, she was flustered and a little rushed. She wasn't very helpful in getting the girls dressed or clipped in as needed. She disappeared a little and I ended up helping them get clipped into dresses. She was in and out of the space when it came time to look at fabric swatches and whatnot. About halfway through, another party arrived to get measured and Donna forgot about us - even asking if she could use a dressing room we were using. It wasn't until I spoke up saying we wanted to purchase a dress that she returned to us. After being measured, Donna took us upstairs in the front area and began to set up the ordering. She was very loud in proclaiming that my one bridesmaid was a "perfect size two". My other bridesmaid is a little bit bigger and Donna was just as brash talking about what size she should wear -- even bringing in another consultant to re-measure her right in the front with other parties in the area. The other consultant was very nice and very polite to us, I would like to mention. We were all a bit uncomfortable with the way Donna was talking about sizes and what size she is/should get.

ude every time I went. They were not helpful, and acted as though they were better than the customers. They were basically incompetent. So many things happened that I can't even list them all. I will leave it at this - they didn't call me when three of the dresses came in, spent an hour looking for one that was hanging in plain sight, and I wasted an hour and a half of my life picking up one dress because they are just that disorganized. Do not go here.

and it was ordered with not much time to spare. The seamstress (I forget her name!) also did everything I asked and even helped me fix a bolero I purchased somewhere else. You pay maybe a teenie bit more money here (of course they have much more expensive dresses than what I purchased) but it is so worth the experience. I am very glad that I didn't go to a chain store, this was much more personal. Definitely recommended!!!

mother's expectations! I never felt rushed. The day was just perfect. Once I bought the dress, it truly was the seamstress that made this vendor recieve a 5. She is beyond fantastic. She made it possible for me to take off the bottom portion of my dress after the wedding! You could not see any seams or adjustments that were made. The dress fit me like a glove and at no point did I need to adjust it during the reception (strapless can be tricky!)!!!

Well, needless to say, unless I was willing to spend around 6K for a gown that doesn't look like it's worth that much, I shouldn't have been bothered with. They have a minimal selection of designer dresses only, and maybe about 5 under 3K. The consultant was quick and bothered, and I was ready to get out of there. Not to mention the store smelled musty and like a grandmothers attic. Definitely would NOT recommend this place to a bride-to-be.
