The Weeden House Museum and Garden is one of Northeast Alabama’s most unique venues for events. Located in the heart of downtown Huntsville, in the historic Twickenham district, the Weeden House Museum and Garden provides an elegant atmosphere and ideal setting for meetings, parties, weddings and receptions.The Weeden House is a historic home built in 1819, the same year Alabama became a state,and is beautifully decorated with antiques and period furnishings. Maximum capacity is 100 people inside the house.A large porch and patio lead to the breathtaking garden area. Utilizing the outdoor areas, over 175 guests can be accommodated. Some tables and seating are available, however, you are responsible for renting additional chairs, seating and equipment as needed.

f about 110 people. I loved the service and flexibility of the Weeden House and the director, Lynne, was excellent. She was an extra set of hands and made sure everything went as smoothly as possible. Plus, the price was great! My wedding was on September 13 and everything was perfect! Word of caution though: the Weeden House is a historic house and contains a lot of precious artifacts including dolls and paintings. Keep this in mind if small children will be in the house. It was so difficult to explain to my 2 1/2 year old flower girl that she could not play with the pretty dolls!
