My fiance and I got married in the intimate outdoor venue at the Kierland. The space is called Windsingers Valley and overlooks a picturesque golf green with the Arizona landscape... in the distance. The enclave itself was entirely shaded at 6:30 when our short ceremony began, while still letting in the late evening magic hour glow. We had 50 white chairs set up in a small theater type tiering. While the guests were seated in a fan shape in front of us, the bride and groom stood elevated on a platform covering the normal firepit, which is the focal point of the space ordinarily. The platform made for an excellent photo space as well.
I did not work very extensively with the staff as my event was small, but they did provide signage to the site and limeade (at my request) for the guests, along with a table for gifts and guest book.
All of guests enjoyed the other amenities at the hotel, such as spa, golf, restaurants, etc.
