The bridal and groom suites were carefully designed to have everything you would need on your wedding day. Our second favorite element was the ceremony space. It is set on a moat with a beautiful waterfall backdrop. Truly breathtaking. We loved how it looked like an outdoor worship service space with the long aisle and pews. To all future brides: that long walk down the aisle seeing all your family and friends before you marry the love of your life is a memory to cherish forever. Being on a golf course, there are many beautiful spots to go for pictures, especially for those coveted sunset photos. The staff help you find the best locations and will take you to anywhere you want to go. Another gem feature of the Wexford is the balcony. My biggest recommendation for all couples is to get a group shot with all your guests by having them out on the balcony and the two of you on the grounds in front. It is one of my favorite pictures from the day! The balcony is also great for during the reception - guests can choose to party on the dance floor or enjoy the space outside to chat. Our friends got to enjoy the dance floor while our older family members got to chat with one another on a beautiful Minnesota summer night. The Wexford staff are phenomenal. Jen and Val are fantastic to work with. During checkins they make sure all loose ends are covered and are always available to answer questions that arise. They love what they do and want all couples to have the most memorable day. The rest of the Emerald Greens staff is also amazing - my family met the head grounds manager and was so excited for our special day and worked to make sure it all went perfectly. We were truly blessed by our experience at the Wexford and would go back there in a heart beat!

They even went above and beyond when a family handkerchief fell into the falls, retrieving and washing it so it could be used again. Truly a beautiful venue with a professional, caring team, we couldn’t have asked for a better day! Thank you Wexford!!

From the bridal and groom suites to the outdoor fire tables, Bogey’s downstairs, and even the bathrooms, everything was designed to make us and our guests feel comfortable and at home. Choosing The Wexford at Emerald Greens was one of the best decisions we made, and we’re so grateful to have celebrated our wedding in such a beautiful space with such a fantastic team. We couldn’t have asked for more!

ely helpful in making everything perfect for our day! They planned a fun fireworks surprise for us - which made the night more magical. I love the balcony for indoor/outdoor cocktail hour and social hour. I would recommend two bars for larger weddings > 300 people (one indoor/one outdoor). The one bar worked well for our wedding, and the bartenders/cocktails were great! Plenty of great photo ops, enough space for all 7 of my bridesmaids to get ready, and space for the grooms to play cards or watch TV. I would consider turning off the waterfall during the ceremony because it is a little loud for the bridal party. They had trouble hearing our vows. Otherwise, my husband and I and all our guests did not notice the waterfall being loud. If you are considering the Wexford, I would absolutely recommend.
