Shawna is an absolute star! Working with the Wild Dahlia team during my wedding planning process was truly the highlight of it all. She is so professional but so much fun at the same time. I didn't know much about flowers so I didn't know what to expect but I showed her a few inspo pics and she truly created a dream. She was so flexible and understanding while I was postponing my wedding from November to May, from a Ritz-Carlton ballroom to an outdoor tent at the Mirbeau Inn & Spa. All her hard work creating a vision board for my fall wedding ended up not being used but she was so gracious and even more excited to create a brand new plan for the spring. Our concept meetings were so fun and informative, she really exceeded all expectations. I had no doubts that my wedding would be beautiful but I could never have imagined what I saw walking into my wedding that day. Waking up the next morning, my first text was to her saying "I have no words" and now a few months later, I still feel the same way. The number of compliments I receive on my flowers and floral decor has been too many to count. It makes me so happy that everyone loved her work as much as I did. I could not recommend her more and will be using any excuse I can find in the future to work with Shawna!

I cannot say enough good things about The Wild Dahlia! Shawna and her team are absolute rockstars. Our wedding was drastically affected by the COVID-19 pandemic, Shawna was extremely flexible and compassionate during such a difficult and stressful time. We completely changed our entire plan with hardly any notice. Shawna was extremely professional and responsive during the replanning process. She went above and beyond to make sure our day was flawless no matter what. With our last minute location change Shawna went out of her way to get familiar with a brand new location she’s never worked at before. The passion she has for her work is obvious and appreciated. She made special arrangements right up to the week before and completely transformed a simple backyard into a gorgeous garden fairytale. She is a true artist! Not only do I recommend hiring her, I also strongly recommend letting her and her team do what they do best...Give them total creative freedom - you will not be disappointed!!! Shawna knew my general color scheme and the specific items I needed (arbor, center pieces, some light and over head installations) but I did not limit her to any specifics on design or details and I am SO glad we did it that way. The surprise of seeing what she and her team created was one of the most exciting parts of our wedding day (besides actually getting married LOL). Shawna is an absolute Rockstar. I booked her because a friend told me “if you use one vendor of mine, she should be it.” And I pass this same recommendation on to anyone considering using Shawna for their wedding. She is an expert and a true floral artist. In every meeting and phone call I knew that she understood the vision for our wedding and that she would use her creativity to execute it perfectly. The bouquets arrived the morning of our wedding and I was obsessed – they were exactly what I had envisioned. Then, when I walked into our venue on our wedding day I was speechless – the flowers, candles, greenery, arbor, and mantle were PERFECT and even better than I had imagined. I am somewhat of a perfectionist and Shawna’s attention to detail completely exceeded expectations. I could not recommend Shawna and her team more highly, if you use one vendor of mine, she should be it.

Shawna and her team really brought my vision of a romantic, sassy, moody, glam city wedding come to life. She was really able to hone my vision and exactly what I was looking for. She suggested black taper candles to add a hint of moody while still giving that romantic candlelight glow. She was so much fun to work with, she was relaxed, and made us feel totally at ease. I knew our day was going to be beautiful working with Shawna. She seamlessly transitioned the vibe from cocktail hour into the ballroom. We did more muted colors for cocktail hour and then really brought the color into the ballroom. Everything was so beyond and above what I was expecting for our day. We got so many compliments on Wild Dahila's work. My bouquet and the bridesmaids' bouquets were out of this world! You won't be disappointed!

I am VERY late in writing this, but I just wanted to take a moment to talk about how much I LOVE Shawna and The Wild Dahlia!! I know nothing about flowers other than that I love them and if I could have Shawna decorate my home daily... I would. There was not even a question when it came to hiring her for our wedding day... I even made sure she was free before settling on the date. She worked seamlessly with our wedding planner to handle the nitty gritty details and created the PERFECT bouquets and installments for our big day. She even made my vision of an installation on our extremely old chapel (that wouldn't allow anything to be fixed to the detailing of the walls) steps by creating a freestanding installation that looked like it was attached to the walls. This also gave us piece of mind because if it rained, we would have been able to move the installation under the tent. Shawna and her team went above and beyond dealing with some SERIOUS rain in the morning when everything needed to be set up AND having to carry everything more than 100 feet because there was no nearby parking lot. I am so so thankful for her making all of my floral dreams come true. It was a dream wedding day and it was all because of Shawna and her team making everything look absolutely perfect. Shawna and the Wild Dahlia saved me from a floral emergency! Being just over a month out from my wedding day I needed to switch vendors and Shawna didn’t even hesitate to jump in and save the day. The florals were the most important part of the wedding for me and it was hard for me to land on a vendor that understood my vision. Talking to Shawna was like talking to a friend who just gets you. She knew exactly what I wanted and executed day of perfectly. Whether it was my last minute requests, texts, or day of needs Shawna and her team were there to help anyway they could. Looking back on my wedding day the florals are still my favorite element and I could not recommend Shawna and her team enough!

I'd been admiring Shawna's work since before I was even engaged. I didn't bother to meet with any other florists because I just knew from the photos I had seen of her work that we wanted her to be our wedding florist. I don’t even know where to begin to explain how amazing Shawna and the whole Wild Dahlia team is. The first time I spoke with Shawna I knew right away I needed to choose her for my wedding florist (artist really). I wanted the focal point of my wedding theme to strictly be flowers and Shawna right away started brainstorming ideas based on my likes. Shawna personally met with me to explain and go over everything and was extremely accommodating to me, my schedule, and my flower dreams. Shawna was organized which kept me at ease with all the minor details I through at her and still was flexible to anything I needed changed or added. The biggest appreciation and praise I give Shawna and her team is that even though it poured rain all day on my wedding (especially during set up hours) and we were supposed to have an outdoor ceremony, they kept my flower dreams true to what I always wanted and didn’t make me worry about it one bit the day of my wedding. All along our process Shawna kept making sure she had a back up plan for if it happened to rain and I am so happy she did! I not only didn’t have to worry about a thing that day, when I finally got to see everything putting together, it was better than I could have ever dreamed of. I had to do quite a bit of research to find a florist for my daughter's Boston wedding and I knew after the first meeting that Shawna was the one to pick. She was just so fun, passionate and friendly that I knew we would get along wonderfully. While my daughter preferred that I handle the specifics with the flowers, she did have a few specific requests and Shawna was determined to make sure she got exactly what she envisioned. Our expectations were exceeded! We were enchanted when we walked into the church and saw the magnificent altar flowers. The bouquets were spectacular and the reception centerpieces were dazzling! Her happy, carefree nature is calming to a bride who knows what she wants in her mind but can not express it in words. I had the best experience working with Shawna to create the florals for my winter wedding! Shawna and her team are incredibly talented and so easy to work with. Shawna's personality is laid back, easy going and so very pleasant to be around. I gave Shawna a color pallet and a few images of floral bouquets that I liked, and she created something more perfect than I ever could have imagined! My 2 daughters got married a year apart. The brides, like their venues, could not have been more different in their aesthetics. One a beachside wedding with pastels, the other a city hotel with jewel tones. One bride planning long distance, one close to home. Guests at both weddings commented on both the beauty and originality of her designs. The tabletops were not just adorned with centerpieces, but came together as a beautiful tablescape. Of equal importance was the joy of working with Shawna. She immediately grasped what the brides wanted and offered a vision that included both the large and small details. She also understood weddings, mothers and daughters, and our meetings and calls were never stressful, but fun and reassuring. The other vendors with whom we worked were equally impressed with her professionalism, design and cooperation and look forward to future work with her. As the mother of the brides, my only regret is that I do not have another wedding to plan with her!

Holy moly. Shawna and her team did a fabulous job with the flowers at our wedding. The bouquets (both mine and the maids), in particular, were unreal and beyond my wildest imagination. My bouquet was literally wider than my body and had all the texture, whites, and navy tones I had asked for. The bridesmaid’s bouquets were the perfect complement to mine with an amazing range of bubble gum pink to deep magenta pink blooms. The centerpieces and ceremony pieces were also beautiful with some of the largest blooms I’ve ever seen. We took one of the centerpiece boxes on our mini-moon and almost a week later it still looked just as gorgeous as it had on our wedding day. Shawna and her team are so incredibly talented that it also makes them very busy and, with that, sometimes comes delayed communication. But, that being said, day of their execution of everything we had talked about was excellent. Thank you so much, Shawna and the entire Wild Dahlia team!!

Shawna just has an eye for design and she worked her magic everywhere for my backyard wedding! From the smallest vase or boutonniere to a giant bridal bouquet bursting with color or delicately decorated cake, every element was so unique and perfectly composed. The stunning floral arrangement on the arbor turned into the #1 location for photos and is already featured in several profile pics :) For my bouquet, she was able to turn my vision of frankensteining multiple Pinterest finds into something more beautiful than I had imagined. Despite being very particular about my design concept, I was so, so pleased with how everything turned out. Additionally, she was nice to work with and even picked up leftover arrangements the next day to bring to a local hospice and nursing home. Can't recommend enough!
