We loved our experience with The Wilds Golf Club - definitely a good bang for your buck comparing to other venues. They helped with any curve ball and challenge that came up (which was not much)! The beef, chicken, and cajun cream pasta are incredible. The only thing I wish would've been possible would be being able to decorate the space the day before, it would've saved lots of prep and stress. We had a group of my friends help and the staff at The Wilds helped make it exactly how we wanted. We were 100% pleased with the turnout. Beautiful venue and amazing staff. Wouldn't have wanted our reception anywhere else!

We truly could not have asked for a better experience having our wedding at The Wilds! From the very beginning of the planning process through our food tasting, the weeks leading up to the wedding, and the wedding day itself, Kim and the entire Wilds staff were absolutely amazing.
Kim was our main wedding coordinator, and she was incredibly responsive, accommodating, organized, and helpful throughout the entire process. She made sure we felt fully prepared going into our wedding day and was always willing to answer questions and help us work through the details. By the time our wedding day arrived, we genuinely felt like we could just show up and enjoy it because we knew Kim and her team had everything handled.
One of the things we appreciated most was how much The Wilds took off our plate when it came to setup and cleanup. We were able to bring all of our decorations to the venue the day before, and Kim and her team set everything up for us exactly as planned. At the end of the wedding, their staff packed everything back up so we could simply pick it up the following day. We didn't have to worry about cleaning up or assigning friends and family to take decorations home at the end of the night. Instead, we were able to enjoy every minute of our dance and leave for the hotel with our friends and family without worrying about a thing. That alone took so much stress out of the day.
The level of service on our wedding day was incredible. The entire staff was so kind, thoughtful, attentive, and genuinely seemed to care about making sure we were taken care of. We joked that they made us feel like royalty! The breakfast and lunch included in the wedding package made getting ready so easy. They brought food right to our getting-ready spaces and continually checked in to make sure we had everything we needed. Whether it was mimosas, beer, Gatorade, or anything else we wanted throughout the day, someone was always there making sure we were comfortable and taken care of.
Most importantly, our wedding day felt incredibly stress-free, and so much of that was because of Kim and the Wilds staff. We never felt like we needed to check on whether something had been set up correctly or worry about what was supposed to happen next. They put so much work into making sure everything went smoothly behind the scenes, which allowed us to be completely present and actually enjoy our wedding day.
We are so grateful to Kim and the entire team at The Wilds for everything they did for us. Our wedding day was everything we hoped it would be, and we would absolutely recommend The Wilds to any couple looking for a beautiful venue with an amazing team that truly takes care of you from beginning to end!

selected it for the large beautiful patio so we could have an outdoor cocktail hour. We also liked the layout of the banquet room and the pricing was very reasonable. We couldn't have been happier with our decision. Ricardo was great to work with, consistently communicating with us in planning and making sure that our vision was carried out. His customer service attitude really made it so enjoyable to plan the details and he was very open to special requests. Chef Tony was also great to work with and we got so many compliments on how good the food was. Even when there were a couple of glitches, Ricardo, Tony and the staff fixed it right away. We are so happy with how everything turned out and now have wonderful memories of celebrating with family and friends.

e location was perfectly suited to an outdoor ceremony, with a beautiful room inside for dinner and dancing. (Even for a group our size, the facility can move the ceremony inside if Minnesota weather doesn’t cooperate.)
They accommodated our special requests (e.g. a soft serve ice cream machine). The staff took care of us and our guests, going out of their way to make everyone feel special, especially the wedding party. They had tables set up when they said they would and helped pack up everything at the end of the night. We had a menu tasting to help us select the food. (Something that wasn’t offered by many of the other venues and caterers we talked to). We received many compliments on how good the food was. It’s not easy to service 200 plus plated dinners and have them all come out correctly. But from our guests comments, The Wilds nailed it.
It’s clear that Mike has a lot of experience in hosting large events. He gave us solid advice on how much food and beverage to order, to reduce waste and stay within budget. His friendliness is unmatched. Throughout the process Mike was very accessible and kept us involved in all decisions. He is professional and experienced and is excellent at both planning and execution! Working with Mike and The Wilds relieved us of much anxiety as we were always confident that the entire wedding and reception would be handled perfectly.
In retrospect we believe choosing to host our daughter’s wedding and reception at The Wilds was one of the best decisions we made and will immediately look to them for other events.

Shannon took care of all of our decorations (centerpieces, guestbook table, gift table) and made it look perfect. Our guests gave us so many compliments about the food and the timing of the meal was flawless. The outdoor spaces were beautiful for pictures and provided so many different natural backgrounds. I would absolutely recommend The Wilds to other brides!

She was very responsive to any questions or requests we had. The food was fantastic, we are still getting compliments from our guests two weeks after. p getting married at The Wilds, but we wanted to give feedback on the reasons we originally chose this venue. Shannon was very helpful with any and all details and planning. If you go in with ideas that's great, but if you go in with nothing, Shannon will help you figure out it all. Anything from colors and decor to layout, timeline and desserts. We ended up using her recommendation for DJ, floral and desserts. All three of those were very accommodating with our last minute changes due to COVID, as was The Wilds. If anyone is looking for a fairly priced and extremely accommodating and helpful wedding venue, I would highly suggest The Wilds.

We were in constant contact with all of the changes that had to be made due to the virus. I could reach her any day of the week. Our wedding turned out perfect, even during a pandemic! Shannon is so flexible, works with your budget, and is an expert at weddings. People raved about our food. We were supposed to have our ceremony outdoors, but had to move it inside due to the cold, rainy weather. I was pretty bummed at first, but Shannon quickly put me at ease with her confidence and positive energy. She assured me they would make it the most beautiful day for us -- rain or shine! And that they did. The end result was absolutely stunning.
We were so impressed by how quickly they turned the room for the reception. Our guests raved about the amazing food and service and said it was the best they have ever had at a wedding.

It was really nice not having to worry about so many of the little details that they had so much experience with. During the stressful time of planning a wedding, the crew at the Wilds made this part as good as it could be. We are very glad we chose this venue.

We also chose our dinner from the Wild's menu and, from the compliments that we got from our guests, that was a smashing success as well!
Overall, the help that we got from the Wilds had a huge impact on our wedding day because we were confident that nothing would go wrong that we didn't have the help and know-how needed to fix it. Plus, the price was very competitive!

annon. She was incredible and a key part of why the day went as smoothly as it did. I don't think our day would have been as stress free it was without her experience and attitude. Also absolutely great value. We shopped around and the wilds not only gave us the most bang for our buck, it was one of the most beautiful and the staff was par none.
I can't explain everything that the wilds did to make this day perfect in the 3500 character limit, but I 10,000% recommend this venue to family, friends , and honestly anyone wanting a great place for their special day.

and how the venue can achieve it.
Their staff was quick and cpuritpis and they switched from an outdoor ceremony to an indoor ceremony with moment's notice and made it look beautiful and seamless. All the guests were impressed with the champagne pass that greeted them after the ceremony that gave the gro and I a moment to breath while everyone got comfortable for a seat.
I can not talk up this venue or Shannon enough. Highly recommend.

green golf course/spacious reception area, and most of all because of the AMAZING catering manager/coordinator Shannon! Shannon is the most spunky, enthusiastic, in-love-with-her-job woman we have ever met! She gave us the confidence that we could put a wedding together in 6 months and she would do whatever needed to make our dream wedding a reality. The Wild's has in house catering, handles all event set up and decor, and Shannon gave us several suggestions for other vendors (floral, photography, DJ, etc.) to make the planning process even simpler. Every question that came up during the planning process was answered day of and not a detail was left out. The night before our wedding we rehearsed and brought all of our ceremony and reception items to the venue to be stored for ease of set up the next day. We were amazed that The Wild's staff (Cheryl in particular) was going to set everything up for us day of so we would have nothing to worry about! Day of, the patio looked amazing, we took awesome photos all around the golf course, and received many compliments on the food--we chose the combination meal of steak and chicken and the chef was flexible with making accommodations for dietary restrictions. We couldn't have asked for a more perfect day!

ay. That has everything to do with Shannon Trout and her incredible staff at The Wild’s Golf Club. Working with Shannon was by far and away the easiest/most enjoyable piece of planning our wedding. Her knowledge and experience make her an expert, and all of our questions were answered so quickly and the advice she provided was on point because she knows what works and what doesn’t. This is not her first rodeo! The whole staff shares this. They are experienced, professional, and service oriented. We have gotten at least 30-40 seperate comments on how good the food was. Mostly, “I can’t believe it was so hot and fresh” and “That didn’t taste like any wedding food I have ever had!” The ceremony was gorgeous and the staff worked so efficiently to make the transition from outside to inside for the reception that no one even noticed that the chairs were all brought back in and around the tables in under 15 min!! Shannon and her staff truly went above and beyond for us, she even had creme brûlée made for my wife and I for dessert because we told her it was our favorite. My wife and I were so impressed with The Wild’s we are trying to come up with another event that we can have there!! We will be back to play golf, have many brunches, lunches, and dinners. (Also, we would miss Shannon too much not to come back and see she and Cosette) :)

stress that comes with planning anniversaries like ours. She was beyond professional, extremely patient with us, absolutely accommodating of our munchkins each time we went there. Food was the best I've had at any such event. Tasty and juicy and nothing was overcooked. Shannon assured me from day one to relax and she would take care of us and she sure did bring the house down. Our hearts are glad. Our memories of this beautiful milestone is because Shannon helped us execute something we once dreamed off. Thank you Shannon and God bless you. Shannon was also amazing to work with. She was always available to answer our questions. She was also knowledgeable about weddings. She recommended many vendors to use and after our research, we found out her vendors were the best.
I would highly recommend The Wilds Golf Club for weddings because they have a beautiful indoor and outdoor wedding space, the food was delicious, and they helped to make our wedding day flawless.
