YOUR WONDERLAND IN THE MAKING Imagine the day you’ve dreamed of since you were young—that perfect day you pledge and celebrate your love surrounded by friends and family in the grandeur and sophistication of a setting like no other—your very own Wonderland. Your Wonderland awaits at The Willows at Ashcombe Mansion, the 1891 Victorian Mansion that is redefining the wedding world in South Central Pennsylvania. Seated on 22 lush acres of manicured and native gardens, Ashcombe Mansion is undergoing the restoration of a lifetime to make your once-in-a-lifetime event out of this world. Every detail you’ve dreamed of for your wedding day is coming to life—from elegant old stone facades to the warmth and prestige of original millwork, to winding Victorian-era staircases and stained glass windows, to meticulously restored Victorian mansion appointments and aesthetically coordinated modern amenities and conveniences. Our Grand Sperry Reception Tent is available from Late April through Late November each year and holds up to 250 guests comfortably. In our off season months intimate or micro weddings may be held for up to 40 guests for a seated meal. We can accommodate up to 80 for a ceremony followed by a cocktail style reception. We offer 5 luxurious overnight suites that can be included in your venue package if you choose to spend the night or the weekend. Venue packages are customized based on clients needs. Bring everything the day before your wedding, hold your rehearsal dinner right here on site, go to bed that night and wake up relaxed and ready to start hair and makeup ! Included in all venue packages are our two separate spacious primping and grooming suites. You and your wedding party can spend the day getting ready in style. The Fridges are stocked with bottled water and coffee makers are on each floor for your convenience. We have multiple indoor and outdoor ceremony options for up to 250 so worrying about the rain is never an issue in Wonderland.

hen I first toured, Allison had shown my parents and I around, my husband was on deployment at the time. She was so responsive and answered all of my questions. They were able to accommodate what I wanted for the wedding, especially being able to have two different ceremonies on the same day. They had a great selection of recommended vendors as well, and that is how I found my wedding planner Simple Soiree. Once booked, I had Chloe to answer all of my questions and she was also amazing. She was so patient and understanding with everything for the wedding. Even when there were last minute seating chart changes, they were able to accommodate. The night before at the rehearsal dinner, we met Henry who would be our liaison on the day of as well. Food at the Ashcombe was amazing, during the rehearsal and during the wedding. We did buffet style for the rehearsal, and then three courses served on the wedding day. They were also able to provide butler served hors d'oeuvres for the guests. All of my guests said this was the best venue they had seen, and they especially loved the Chilean seabass served for dinner. Everyone at the Ashcombe who helped us were amazing and I couldn't do it without them. Henry was amazing during setup too! It was all so magical and I keep thinking about how I want to go back to that day. A few of the groomsmen, bridesmaids, my husband and I were able to stay in the onsite rooms as well that was just out of this world. We loved the accommodations and hope we can come back to enjoy them! Hopefully we find our way back to PA so we can enjoy a dinner there again! Absolutely love the Ashcombe, it is a 100/10 venue with how beautiful it is, and how amazing all of the staff were to us. Thank you so much!

overnight accommodations the very next day. On our wedding day it rained and their indoor option for a large group exceeded our expectations. The rain cleared by the evening and guests were able to get outside and enjoy the beautiful grounds. The bridal and grooms suite made the morning getting ready comfortable for everyone and made a great photo backdrop. Every staff member we interacted with was professional, fun, and organized!

ls. From the moment we arrived to unload décor/alcohol early Friday morning, to the rehearsal dinner, through wedding day and leaving Sunday morning they didn’t miss a beat. Not to mention the ornate beauty of the venue itself. The owner thought of every detail in designing a unique venue to Central PA. It has separate space for the men/women to get ready and so many areas to host a rehearsal dinner, cocktail hour, pictures and ceremony (ours was off site). Ashcombe also has five guest rooms. We rented these for the bridesmaids Friday night which made it extra convenient for an early Saturday morning. We would recommend this venue 100 times over.

weekend booking. We were able to host our rehearsal dinner on site Friday evening and it was perfect in the crystal dining room. It was so fun to stay in the honeymoon suite as well that evening!! I was concerned about the overall cost but it was worth every single penny. I cannot say enough good things about the staff at The Willows and JDK. They made sure everything ran smoothly and the food was incredible. For example, servers even brought drinks and appetizers from cocktail hour to the bridal party while we were taking photos on the grounds. I can’t thank everyone enough for making my day everything I hoped for and more!

oque/Vintage sophisticated venue that is the Willows. My love for weeping willows put this venue as my number 1 on my list of venue during our search. It’s sophisticated and elegant which made our wedding pictures look almost royal! The food and service provided by JDK was exquisite. My French side was in heaven because of how pretty and delicious the appetizers were. JDK’s staff was friendly and they even assigned a butler to us to make sure welcoming. They even made sure that we had something to eat and stayed hydrated while taking our bridal pictures. On a day where everything goes fast, it’s easy to forget to eat and stay hydrated but thanks to the JDK staff, my husband and I felt very well taken care of. Abby from the JDK team is the ABSOLUTE BEST!!! She made us feel at ease and we felt like we could rely on her from the our first phone call. She is friendly and warm (bride, if you are stressed you need someone like that on your side). Everything was PERFECT from start to finish. I had family come from France, Germany and they fell in love with the venue, the food and the ambiance. They are still talking about out wedding!! 😊 If you’re still looking for the perfect venue and caterer, this is your sign! Go with the Willows and the JDK team. diately booked! The venue is absolutely spectacular and unlike anything, we have ever seen before. The rooms are unbelievable with attention paid to every single detail. Our partys got ready inside the upper two levels of mansions, we got married outside, cocktail hour was in the chandelier room and the reception was in the fully climate-controlled "tent". I can choose a favorite area because each had its own charm. Not only is the venue itself beautiful, but the staff is also wonderful as well! Everyone was incredibly kind, helpful, and most importantly experts in what they do. It's truly a place you have to see to believe. If you are looking for a venue that will leave you and all of your guests in awe this is it! :)

I did not want to have a wedding until we visited The Willows at Ashcombe. I was blown away by the venue. There isn’t a single detail missing. Everything is so beautiful, classy, ...

and has so much thought and care behind it. We had our rehearsal dinner there as well because one day at the mansion wasn’t enough for me! We live within ten minutes from the mansion, and we ended up renting it for the entire weekend to make the most of it. Our wedding party stayed there with us and commented that it was a nicer stay than any hotel/resort they have been to. On top of all that, the staff there is unbelievable. They clearly know their field and they pulled off our wedding weekend with ease and perfection. They were so attentive and didn’t miss a single thing. I had absolutely zero worries or problems during the weekend due to their care. My family and guests still know them and mention them by name. They left such an impression. This venue is worth your money and your memories. It’s literal magic! I even have friends from the wedding booking other events there so they can go back and enjoy it! I can’t say enough wonderful things about the venue and staff!

to stay overnight in the mansion itself are nothing short of luxurious, as well as the coolest spaces for the bridal party to get ready on the big day. Most importantly, the staff worked tirelessly to ensure that my wedding went smoothly. It was such a stress-free process, I can not recommend this place and the staff more highly.

for spaces for the ceremony, as well as for cocktail hour and reception. No detail was left untouched and every one of my guests was in awe of Ashcombe. There is a space for everyone. The property has so many beautiful spots for photos outside, as well as so many different rooms with unique personalities inside. Erika was a dream to work with and the online planning pod was great in helping us to visualize what our reception would/could look like. This was our perfect venue and I would recommend it to anyone getting married in the central PA area!

ika Hegedus to coordinate all of the logistics was seamless. She serves as the greatest point of contact and I knew we were in good hands. The venue has so much personality and statement pieces. It made for the most magical ceremony site with the grand ballroom style tent, as well as the sparkling crystal dining room for cocktail hour. Guests could not stop raving about the beauty of the venue and enjoyed taking photos all around the mansion. It made for such a seamless wedding day- the onsite bridal suite and grooms suite, the grand ceremony and reception tent, and outside patio with heaters for guests to get some fresh air. The mansion is expansive but it's set up with every convenience- restrooms on every floor, even a built-in garment steamer, and kitchen/fridge access. Shout out to Henry for his eagerness and ability to step right up and into helping us unload all of the craziness of wedding décor, wedding dresses, any and all items with a genuine smile on his face. And Ryan made sure we were comfortable staying overnight in the honeymoon suite after the wedding. We are so happy to have the best day at Ashcombe mansion and plan to return to admire it for future events.

d inviting grounds as they come upon The Willows, but only those of us who tour inside will experience the awe of impeccable design in every single corner of this home. From the restored original wallpaper paintings to the faucets, there's nothing that hasn't been considered. Abby from The JDK Group answered every single question I had (and there were many), with professionalism and a smile! I offered ideas of what I would like and the JDK team produced an experience beyond what I could have come up with. No one could have provided us with a better version of our big day. hird wedding to be hosted by Ashcombe I believe) but we appreciated the communication throughout. They were very accommodating wherever possible. Our vendors enjoyed the experience as well. We especially appreciated the kindness shown to our out of town guests who stayed overnight. They had nothing but wonderful things to say about the gentlemen as well as the luxurious accommodations. The venue is/was gorgeous and looked amazing for our reception AND was the perfect backdrop for our engagement photos. We plan to use Ashcombe for future events. orgeous wallpapers, beautiful chandeliers, and painted ceilings, it is the singular most beautiful location to get married in central Pennsylvania. Deb, the owner, was so kind and gracious throughout the process- dealing with my nerves of the location not being finished on time, but as promised, it was finished in a way that was better than I could have even dreamed. Mark, Ryan, Erika, and the rest of the Ashcombe team made sure we never had to lift a finger throughout the weekend. They were so sweet, constantly checking in to make sure we had all that we could ever ask for. From the bottom of our hearts, we could never even describe our gratitude for the absolute perfection of the celebrations of our wedding weekend. I felt like a queen in the most luxurious mansion.

t would be our place for our big day. I researched so many places and came across The Willows at Ashcombe Mansion. We were immediately sold the minute we drove up to the place and this was even before the gorgeous sailcloth tent and additions! The place is just stunning. There is detail and dedication to every single part of Ashcombe. Deborah, the owner, has such an amazing vision. She did more than restore this 1891 Queen Anne Victorian; she transformed it into the most immaculate place. I had the pleasure of meeting Deborah and she gave us such a warm welcome and made sure we had the best weekend ever. I worked with Abby, the venue contact, and she was so incredibly helpful, patient, and kind throughout the whole planning process. Chris and Mark helped us out during our stay and they were great. It's been about 2 weeks since our wedding and we are all still marveling at its beauty. Thank you so much Ashcombe and your incredible team of people who were involved in making our wedding weekend everything we dreamed of and more. We hope to be back soon for an event or our anniversary celebration :)
