Best band we could have hired for any event, and they made our wedding reception the MOST fun I’ve ever had at a wedding! Every single guest was out on the dance floor the entire night. Our original wedding was scheduled for June 2020 and we moved it multiple times throughout the pandemic. We downsized to a small dinner, and then two weeks before the event when restrictions were lifted in PA, we asked to rebook the full band. Every change we made was responded to with professionalism, timeliness getting back to us, and complete flexibility. The band said yes to every single change we requested, offering anything they could do to help us navigate a crazy year. When our reception finally happened in June 2021, they CRUSHED it. We gave them little direction, mostly asked that they “feel the vibe of the room” and when I say they nailed it, I mean they had every single guest on the dance floor the whole night. So many people asked me that night and since the wedding asking who our band was. Can’t recommend enough!
When you think of the words "Cover Band," you probably imagine a amateurish band playing at some dive bar, but these guys and lovely lady were anything except amateurs. They left me thinking the whole time that if they wrote their own songs that they would definitely be on the radio. I am, for loss of a better word, the Jack of All Trades at my company and responsible for planning our corporate events, including finding the perfect talent to perform. A friend of mine mentioned The Wiseneimers to me and not long after, she tool me to see them. I went into work the following Monday and told my boss that I had the perfect band. He was skeptical as we had used two other bands in the past that were just ok. They still did ok, but they were not as polished as The Wisenheimers. They showed up with plenty of time to spare and event loaned a hand at carrying in some boxes needed for the event. Later, they began to perform and there wasn't a single person in the room who wanted to be seated at their table anymore. They all wanted to get up and out on that dance floor. Even my boss was movin' and groovin'. It was clear to see that everyone was having a great time and the whole night was a success. The food was great, but even if it was just ok, I don't think anyone would have cared because of how much fun they had. This is not a band that makes you do the Chicken or any other corny dances, but they will have you on your feet and feeling the electricity they bring. My boss was out on the following Monday back to work, so I didn't hear any feedback from him, which always makes me nervous. Tuesday morning, he called me into his office. I knew he had a great time, but I was still nervous. He said "About that raise you've been hinting at lately.....you just got it and the company is throwing in an extra week for your vacation time." I thought that I was dreaming. A raise would have been appreciated enough, but an extra week of vacation was a welcomed surprise. I am using it to plan my wedding in the fall and have already secured The Wisenheimers to play because I want my family to have just as much fun as my work colleagues. I literally cannot wait to see the happiness on everyone's face that day after this band takes the stage. They will leave everyone talking for a long time. I <3 The Wisenheimers!
We had the best time at this wedding all thanks to the band. They were fun, energetic and extremely talented. My friend, the bride is still talking about how professional they were and how she was able to relax and enjoy the party herself because she did not have to worry about a thing. They were professional prompt and most importantly fun. Everyone loved the music, especially the singer's voice. I totally recommend hiring them if you are looking to have a GREAT party and a memorable event!
Ok, so here we are...a newly married couple and this is our first experience writing a review, so here it goes. After growing up in NJ my whole life, I wanted a DJ. My wife wanted a band. How do you decide? You clearly just say 'Yes Dear!" But in all reality, I expected a band that played Hanson or bad bar music, but I will admit, to my surprise, this band absolutely rocked the house. We had over 100 people at our wedding and besides my grandparents, there wasn't a single foot anywhere other than the dance floor. They were worth the money we spent and to be honest, I was so wowed that after hearing them play and cater to us and all of our friends and family that I felt like a dummy even considering a DJ. This band is really a class act and they have their stuff together. We had a great day and I think a DJ wouldn't have made it nearly as personal and interactive as The Wisenheimers did. If you are going to spend your money on a band, please don't waste it. Hire these guys and you will NOT be disappointed. If you are, you can let them know and they will get in touch with me and I will personally pay for it if you're not satisfied. Now my wife got her way...I mean is smiling and happy that I've written the review and hopefully she'll let me sleep in this weekend!
Ten years ago, my oldest daughter, so when it came time to plan my youngest daughter's wedding, of course, I wanted EVERYTHING to be perfect and it was.
A friend of mine had heard The Wisenheimers play before and recommended them to me. At first, when I heard the name, I was thinking that they would be more of a band geared towards younger kids or maybe that they liked to have too much fun. Boy, was I ever wrong!
This band was the icing on the cake for this incredibly special day for my last remaining child.
Everything was spectacular at the wedding from the color scheme to the food, but when I say this band fulfilled everything I had hoped for the night to be, I sincerely mean it.
They are amongst the kindest people you could ever meet.
As a nervous mother of the bride, they did use humor to calm my nerves, but they also comforted me an assured me that they would do anything I needed them to do to make sure this night was magical.
My only wish is that my other daughter was here to see her beautiful sister's beautiful event.
This band truly caters to what YOU want and not what they want.
They are professional and have very high standards.
At the end of the night, I hugged every one of them. I would have regretted going with any other wedding band.
I would use them again in a heartbeat. They are clearly suitable for any occasion.
They helped make me such a proud mom.
Kudos to Steve, Kel, Tony, Shuli and Jim. I celebrate your unique talent to connect on a human level with all of us and to make us feel that you were a part of our family!!
Much love and success in the future.
I'm so glad my husband convinced me to use a live band rather than a DJ for our wedding. The Wisenheimers were originally recommended to us by friends. We went to see them live and knew we had to have them. They were super easy to work with and very responsive to us as the day approached. They also NAILED our first dance song. All of our guests had a blast and people are still talking about it.
The Wisenheimers were excellent! After stumbling upon their sample video we pretty much knew we had to have them. We saw them in person shortly after and hired them on the spot! Because 4 of the 5 members all sing, they have a wide range of songs and styles that they cover - each amazingly. Everything sounded great, and everyone was on the dance floor having a blast (even though it was an afternoon wedding!). They were very responsive throughout the planning process and reasonably priced. Even when we chose our wedding first dance song last minute, they worked with us to edit it down to a version suitable for a crowd. The female lead even let my sister borrow a pair of shoes when her heel broke! They were lots of fun!
The one thing that my (now) husband insisted we have at our wedding was a band. I thought it would never happen, but somehow came across The Wisenheimer's. After seeing them play, we knew that we had to have them at our wedding.
From the very first email to the very last song, The Wisenheimer's were incredibly professional, knowledgeable, easy going, and, above all, fun! Our guests raved about them all night! The Wisenheimer's made our wedding the best night of our lives! And, best part, they play in NJ all the time, so we can go back to see them again and again!
I highly encourage you to check them out! They travel all over NJ/NY!
