This is your elegant country wedding venue. You can get married on a breathtaking deck overlooking Elm Lake or under an ancient 150 foot Sycamore born during the American Revolution. This place is perfect. You can have your reception either at the outdoor venue lakeside or the private forested Wolf Creek Retreat on the northwest corner of the property. Working with Chris was an absolute dream. From day one, she was warm, flexible, and incredibly responsive. She answered every call, accommodated multiple venue tours, and always made us feel supported. Her professionalism and genuine care made the entire planning process feel effortless.
We chose the Dream Package, and wow! It truly lived up to its name! The included wedding coordinator, bartender, and DJ were all fantastic!! Each person on the team brought positive energy, attention to detail, and a clear dedication to making our day perfect.
The venue itself is stunning, with evergreen decor and twinkling lights that are always in place, which made decorating a breeze (less stress for the bride = a huge win!). What you see is truly what you get, no surprises, just beauty and thoughtful touches everywhere you look, which gave us endless photos as well.
Thanks to Chris and her incredible team, our wedding day wasn’t just perfect, it was unforgettable. I am so grateful we found Wolf Creek Retreat and would give it a solid 11/10 without hesitation!

we found a hidden gem when we stumbled across the Wolf Creek Retreat. We absolutely could not believe how beautiful this venue was and the perfect fit for the outdoor, relaxed atmosphere we wanted. We decided pretty much on the spot that it was the place for us -- we didn't even look at any other venues! We had SO many guests compliment our choice of venue too. Chris was great about keeping us on top of things and staying in contact with our vendors (even more so than us!) and was so attuned to the little details that helped make our day even more special (things like turning on the fountain at the moment of our first kiss -- OMG how cute! And magically getting the arch that we wanted to the site). We are so thankful to everything Chris did for us and our wedding day!

ber 21st 2019 . My fiancé and I found a venue called The Wolf Creek Retreat at Elm lake in Brookville Ohio . Beautiful venue , it was in our budget . We went and viewed it September 25th 2019 and fell in love. The only date they had available in October at the time was October 23rd 2020 . I wanted to wait to book that date because it is an outside venue and I didn’t want it to be too cold . I received a text and call from the Venue lady at Wolf Creek a couple days later and stated that she had October 3rd 2020 become available. I jumped on that and decided to book with them as the date October 3rd is my parents anniversary of meeting. Fast forward to January 19th I received a call from Wolf Creek stating that my venue was DOUBLE BOOKED . I was heartbroken. The venue tried to offer me other dates they had available but I wanted my fall wedding on that specific date as it meant something special to me. I luckily found a new venue that I am in love with and it’s a blessing in disguise. I just wanted to make others aware as I have read other people have had experiences with this venue already. gh it rained on us for a moment, everyone still had an amazing time, and stayed dry. Chris and her family work hard to upkeep the facilities, and it shows. She was also incredibly professional and accomodating to work with. Chris checked in with us occasionally prior to the wedding, and was very helpful answering any questions. number one among them, Chris was absolutely a treasure. Supportive, caring, patient, and a quick communicator, she made our day as special and meaningful as it could have been. Chris really cares about making your wedding meaningful and special, and the history of the property makes it so unique! She also helped organize things so efficiently and dealt with all the last minute crazy stuff... including an inclement weather plan... this was the best choice we made for our wedding, hands down. The pictures from our day are breathtaking, too... they pretty much take themselves at a place like The Wolf Creek Retreat. Our guests had a great time and are still talking about how beautiful it was, weeks later. I don't think you can find another venue that offers so much for such a reasonable price. Chris was prompt with all of our communications prior to wedding, and I never felt that I was left hanging-- ever. Gatlinburg style warmth and beauty! Chris, the owner, was terrific to work with both during the initial booking process, and also during the set up and tear down. Chris was so responsive to our emails and questions, throughout the entire planning process. She helps you figure things out beforehand, and is there with you the whole day and ready to make any last-minute changes you need.
The Wolf Creek allows you to bring in your own alcohol and use any vendors you wish. You will not regret having your wedding or corporate event here!
This location is like a fairy tale – you walk across a bridge from the parking area, and another bridge across Wolf Creek. There's lots of outdoor space to travel around for photos.
The bridge is lit with fairy lights that light up the creek. Then you see the Honeymoon Harbor Club house…old-timey with mason jar lighting and French doors that open up onto the deck overlooking Elm Lake. Inside restrooms for changing, a table for gifts, and a wonderful bar!

I cannot say enough about Chris. She was absolutely fantastic to work with. She let us come in and really look around and try to get ideas for our wedding. She had so much patience and seemed to really love helping brides and grooms out with their vision. This venue is beyond beautiful and pictures do not do it justice. I had the most amazing experience with the venue and the staff. They made it like I was the only person getting married there and truly listened to the style of wedding my husband and I wanted and made it happen. She was so genuine and seemed to really love her job. She provided the little extras that we would have never thought of. It was absolutely perfect! Thanks Wolf Creek Retreat and Chris! Our day was perfect in every way !!!
