We used The WOW factor cakes for our wedding and everything was delicious! The dessert table options were a hit and we couldn’t be happier. Highly recommend!

I dreamed of my wedding cake for years and the wow factor cakes surpassed all my expectations. Not only was my cake gorgeous we ordered the vegan vanilla buttercream and it was amazing!!! Not one of our guests knew it was vegan. Most people said it was the best cake they had ever had. Use the wow factor cakes for your wedding you will NOT regret it. They delivered my cake on time looking absolutely perfect. They were professional and timely in responding to all my emails and questions.

I had the best experience with Lei Christine and WOW Factor Cakes. I was referred to WOW Factor Cakes by a close friend and it was one of the best wedding choices I made. In light of the pandemic, Lei made it very easy to try the different cake flavors by sending us home with a tasting plate. She also was able to customize our cake flavor, we wanted one cake type but with a different filling. She made a separate sample for us. On the wedding day, the cake was delivered exactly when she said and it was absolutely beautiful, not to mention delicious. I had family members decline a piece at first but after trying a bite of someone elses, ran to get their own piece. Brides, I highly recommend WOW Factor Cakes for your wedding day!

The Wow Factor is where you should go to get your wedding cake in Charlotte. We were obviously excited about the cake tasting part of wedding planning, but didn’t expect to love ALL of our options so much! When COVID hit a week before our original wedding date, the Wow Factor was not only kind enough to help us postpone (and ultimately postpone again), but also made and delivered to our home a small wedding cake for my husband and I when we still chose to get married on our original date. It was incredibly meaningful and helped make our day so special. I will always be grateful. Ultimately, the cake at our postponed reception was both beautiful and delicious. I will absolutely be returning to the Wow Factor for all of my cake needs in the future.

Wow Factor provided our wedding cake in September, 2020. They executed our vision for the cake perfectly. There is nothing more that we could have asked for. They offer a wide variety of cake and frosting flavors as well as design options. The price was right in line with our budget, too. We highly recommend Wow Factor!

Hands down the most BEAUTIFUL wedding cake I have ever seen and not a piece was left on the table. Everyone at the wedding loved their cake and could not stop complimenting the gorgeous design. I had my cake marbled with gold detail and it looked like a piece of art in the room, I almost hesitated to cut into it! Not only are they more than accommodating but they are so incredibly friendly to work with. Love this baker and cannot recommend them enough!

Wow Factor Cakes did an amazing job on our wedding cake! The design and tasting meeting were fun and relaxing and all their cakes were delicious! We had a hard time choosing a flavor! Marianne helped us select a cake flavor and helped us imagine a beautiful cake design! When my husband and I did our reception room reveal after the wedding ceremony, we entered the room and the first thing we smelled was the cake! From all the way across the room! It smelled heavenly and tasted amazing too. We loved our cake and Wow Factor did a wonderful job! Thank you so much!

Wow Factor always knocks it out of the park! Most recently they did my Bridal Shower cake and my Wedding cake! Not only do the cakes look amazing, but they are so delicious. It is hard to find cake that is both beautiful and tastes amazing! Lei is so easy to work with! We will definitely be back!

Our wedding cake was perfect! I wanted a more simplistic design with a classic texture and they nailed it. Not only was it beautiful, it was delicious! Super moist and a great flavor! What the guests loved most though might have been the cake pops. We had the cake pops as favors so it took a couple weeks for it to get back to me just how much people loved them. I still have people asking me where I got them and if I have any leftover in my freezer!

Definitely the best ever - can't recommend enough! Start to finish, they are the total dream team. I wasn't even sure I wanted a cake until we walked into the shop, and then I never looked back (or looked anywhere else, for that matter). They are professional, creative, accommodating, and fun to work with. They lived up to the name and totally delivered our wow factor - but don't expect one of those wedding cakes that people don't eat, it was as delish as it was stunning. Already dreaming up reasons I need more extravagant cakes in my life, and can't wait to work with them again soon!

We are so happy that we decided to go with The Wow Factor for our wedding cake. The cake was absolutely beautiful and delicious! We had so many compliments on the look and the taste of the cake from guests. The pricing was reasonable, and the cake looked better than we imagined. They paid attention to every detail - including piping lace on the cake that matched the lace on my wedding dress. Lei Christine was so nice and helpful. 100% recommend!

We were so impressed with WOW Factor and the desserts they did for both our rehearsal dinner and wedding reception! Lei and team were so easy to work with and gave great recommendations! We highly recommend them for any of your dessert needs!

The desserts were phenomenal!! We opted to do a smaller 3 tier wedding cake accompanied by a dessert bar filled with cupcakes, cake pops, salted caramel brownie bars, macaroons and chocolate covered oreos - definitely a great idea so you can have a little bit of everything. The ladies are super accommodating with assistance in flavor options and helping you really nail down your cake vision! My husband has an obsession with oreos and between the chocolate covered oreos and a layer of chocolate cake with oreo buttercream frosting - he was in heaven! Everything was delicious, not dry! We even had a to go box that was full of the leftovers that we snacked on for several days and it was all as good as the wedding night. We saved the top tier of our cake and we're looking forward to that on our 1st anniversary!

We absolutely loved our cake! It was a simple nearly naked cake with lemon, almond, and white cake layers. It was very moist and delicious, and soooo pretty! We got so many compliments. They were so easy to work with and so kind. Thanks WOW Factor!

Our wedding was yesterday in the middle of a tropical storm. Our cake turned out more beautiful than I could have possibly imagined and was moist and tasty too. We received so many compliments from our guests. And Wow Factor must have gone above and beyond to deliver the cake unscathed in downtown Charlotte during tropical storm Florence. We could not have been more pleased.

Lei Cristine was amazing to work with! She was responsive, flexible, and beyond helpful. We met with her twice to discuss the design, flavors, etc of our wedding cake and a groom's cake. WOW Factor surpassed our expectations!! They were able to take our ideas and put all of them on a cake- unbelievable! Both of the cakes were beautiful and SO TASTY! We *almost* didn't want to eat them because of how amazing they looked. We are so excited to eat the top of our cake at our anniversary!

Their name says it all! Our wedding cake was beautiful and tasted even better! It was light, fluffy, and full of flavor. When we met with Lei she helped us narrow down our ideas and sketched the most beautiful cake that turned out even better in real life! It ended up being the focal point of our ballroom and looked like a piece of art! We were able to taste many different flavor/filling combinations. When we couldn't pick just one they let us make each tier a different flavor! My one regret at the wedding was that I didn't get to have a piece of each flavor! They calculated the price by the number of servings which made this process even easier. When our final numbers came in we ended up needing to take a tier out and they were able to do so without a problem! I plan to use Wow Factor Cakes for events in the future. When deciding on who should make your wedding cake this is a no brainer-use Wow Factor!

Omg our cake was so delicious. I keep bringing more leftovers out of the freezer to stuff bites in now and then. The tasting process was fun and easy. The cake was beautiful and they've worked well with my venue and florist in the past to coordinate set up. Would recommend.

Our cake turned out so stunning! I had a picture off a pinterest that I wanted for mine and they executed it perfectly. We wanted a cake that was beautiful but tasted great and that is exactly what we got!

They pieced together our ideas and gave options to hit our budget. We received countless compliments from our wedding guests and were very pleased with how it turned out!

Our wedding cake and desserts were AMAZING! Truly, everything turned out perfect and all of our guests agreed! We went with a lemon cake which was absolutely delicious, just the right amount of lemon that didn't over power the hint of raspberry filling! It was beautiful too, every detail was so carefully done! From the cake tasting to the final product everything was wonderful, everyone was friendly and professional and helped make our big day that much more enjoyable and special! The price point was great too, especially for the quality of our cake and desserts!

Our wedding cake was amazing! We went with Wow Factor Cakes originally because we felt that they would do the best job with the design, but as soon my (now) husband put that cake in my mouth at our wedding I was amazed at how delicious it tasted too!! It was seriously soooo good. They were super flexible during the planning process as well and let us change our middle layer flavor around a month before the wedding. The tasting we had was a lot of fun (but the day of cake tasted so much better than the sample so don't worry if the tasting isn't as perfect as you might imagine), and they gave us coffee to drink while we tasted everything. We got multiple compliments on the taste and look of our wedding cake!

My fiance and I went to several different bakeries to find our wedding cake. He doesn't typically like cake, so finding one was difficult. By the time we went through 3 tastings, I didn't think we would find anything my fiance would eat. Then we found WOW Factor Cakes. Zach ate every bite during our tasting. We enjoyed visiting the bakery and talking with the consultant. She was able to draw exactly what our cake would look like based on the pictures we brought her. While WOW Factor was the most expensive bakery we visited, it was worth every penny to have a cake that was so delicious. Their cake was moist and flavorful. The frostings and fillings weren't overly sweet and very fluffy! We will be purchasing a first anniversary cake next year!

Our wedding cake was incredibly delicious as well as beautiful! Lei Cristine was great to work with-she helped us design a gorgeous cake and worked with us to make sure we got exactly what we wanted! The guests couldn't believe wedding cake could taste so great! We did 3 different flavors for each tier (marble and lemon for guests and red velvet for our top tier)-many guests grabbed unwanted pieces from other tables to try the different flavors, and we can't wait to get to enjoy our tier!

Our wedding cake was DELICIOUS! After our wedding, we received texts and emails from friends who couldn't stop talking about how good the cake was- some even wanted to know if birthday orders were accepted at Wow Factor Cakes! Saying our family and friends loved it would be an understatement :) Lei Cristine made sure that the design of our cake matched our "vision" for the wedding and that it tasted great too. The Wow Factor Cakes definitely lives up to their name! The cake they made for our wedding was definitely WOW worthy! They were great to work with and very professional. I loved that they incorporated our monogram design from our invitations on to our cake, and they they sent a digital viewing of what the cake will look like. The flavor of the cake was amazing and mouth watering probably the best I've ever had !! They also had so much selection to choose from from flavors, design, style I felt like they really had all the equipment they needed to make the cake of my dreams where as many other cake vendors I spoke with said they couldn't do the design I wanted but charged the same price. Also they sent us home with cake to eat at the hotel which was nice cause I didn't have time to eat it at the actual wedding. My cake was beautiful! I gave them a picture of what I wanted it to look like, and they recreated it perfectly. Best of all, it tasted as good as it looked! My cake was very moist, and the flavor was phenomenal. My guests absolutely loved it. Couldn't have asked for a better cake!

Truly Scrumptious!! You know you have chosen a winner when your guest are still talking about your amazing wedding cake two months later!! The cakes were truly beautiful and tasted amazing. Charles and I were so pleased with the results. I have to admit the cake tasting was by far one of the best experiences during the wedding planning. The design of the cake was great, delivery time was perfect, the cake was not good we amongst many of the other guest were not impressed at all.

We loved our experience with Wow Factor Cakes! We had a great consultation with Amy who really understood our vision for the cake. Her cakes are delicious - some of the softest and most moist wedding cakes we have ever had. We even got to come up with our own combinations of cakes and flavors, which made it really special. On the day of the wedding, the cake was exactly as I had imagined, it looked beautiful! It was also so tasty, we got so many compliments from guests that it was one of the best wedding cakes they had ever had!

WOW does not describe just how awesome Wow Factor cakes actually are! We are still getting compliments from our guests about how great the cake tasted! Can't wait till our one year anniversary to have the rest of our delicious cake!!

The cakes we had for our wedding not only looked beautiful but tasted even better!! The staff was wonderful to work with. Not one complaint about anything! We will definitely be back in the future for birthday cakes and such!

Wow is right. I chose Wow Factor Cakes for a surprise groom's cake for my husband at our rehearsal dinner after stopping by their shop and seeing their stunning designs (and tasting their delicious cake pops!). We had a tailgate themed rehearsal dinner so WFC worked with me to design a custom cake that looked like a soft cooler with my husband's favorite team's logo, his favorite beer bottles coming out of the top (which looked insanely real and like they were chilling on ice that also looked incredibly real) and other personal touches of his favorite things (they even personalized the tag of the bag with his nickname). This cake was the talk of the rehearsal dinner and an absolute show stopper. Everyone was taking pictures of it and my husband was blown away. Oh, and it was DELICIOUS (not like a lot of highly designed cakes) to boot! I have recommended Wow Factor Cakes to all my friends in the Charlotte area for weddings (we didn't have a cake at our wedding), rehearsal dinners, or any celebratory event - and some have proactively asked for their information who were at our rehearsal dinner!

After an amazing tasting where we helped to create our dream wedding cake, we were beyond excited to see the beauty come to life at our wedding. To our amazement, and horror, the day of our wedding, two hours prior to the reception, we found out that Wow Factor had forgotten to make our cake. Thankfully, we had a fantastic wedding coordinator who quickly leaped into action, going to another bakery who kindly donated a fake cake so we had something to pretend to cut into. While this is not something that ruins a wedding, our hopes of having the moment of cutting into our cake, with our beautiful monogramed cake knife, were gone. We were contacted by Wow Factor when we returned from our honeymoon and received a very nice apology, promising a favor in the future. We certainly understand that mistakes happen, however, it was still extremely disappointing. We intend to use Wow Factor for our promised favor, however besides that, we will be advising our friends to look elsewhere.

The name says it all!!!!!!!! Our wedding cake was a WOW factor. They replicated exactly what I wanted and our guests that don't even eat cake had two pieces!!! I am not kidding it was the best cake I ever had and so many other people told me that. Hands down best bakery in Charlotte!!!!!!!! THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR EVERYTHING!!!

I may be skewing the data here... I had a tasting with Wow Factor and wow is right! SUPER TASTY. They were up for doing my design and all was well. My unfortunate situation was due to a few things. I think the design I suggested should have been altered a bit to ensure the cake's stability. I think the fact that I had to travel had played a part. Additionally, the construction of the cake was lacking additional support. All of these things led to the 3 tiered grooms cake I spent a long time planning and keeping a secret (nearly impossible for me) crumbling before I was even 30 minutes away from the bakery. I will say, WOW Factor did offer a credit and I accepted. I was able to salvage two of the tiers of the cake and my husband was happy to see the thought I had put into the design. We also ordered a small one tiered cake to cut as a married couple and it was delicious and beautiful. Long story short - would I order again from Wow Factor... probably, but I would be a bit more cautious on the design.

We had our wedding cake made by Wow Factor and it went beyond our expectations! Amy was able to take our vision and design it into a beautiful and delicious cake! Throughout the planning process, she was easy to get in touch with and responded to all of our questions promptly. The day of, we had so many compliments on how beautiful our cake was and how it was the best tasting cake people have had! I highly recommend the almond and hazelnut and lemon and raspberry!

Believe it or not, as the groom, I was left with the task of finding our wedding cake. I LOVE sugar and my now wife not as much. WOW Factor brought the perfect blend that took me by surprise. I could taste the icing but I could also taste the delicious cake. Amy was patient and professional with me through changes in cake design and head count. One bonus was that they work with the Hilton and I was able to have my cake included in my package and pay one vendor. We had enough cake for everyone to enjoy but because the cake was so delicious, the family got ahold of the top piece so I guess we will have to come back on our anniversary and get another one.

Our guests absolutely loved the cakes from Wow Factor Cakes! Instead of doing one giant wedding cake, we decided to do three smaller ones. They were all beautiful and SO tasty. I was especially impressed by Wow Factor's ability to immediately gauge what I wanted after an hour meeting. Literally, the cakes looked exactly like my vision! Zero stress and everyone loved them. We got our Groom's Cake and Wedding Cake from WOW Factor! They did an amazing job. Not only was the cake delicious, but they looked amazing! The Groom's Cake looked so real people didn't realize it was a cake. Everything was edible; it was fabulous. It looked so good, I had a hard time actually letting people eat it. Everyone at WOW Factor was really easy to work it and let me call to double and triple check things!

Amy was amazing to work with. She took our ideas and gave us exactly what we were looking for. Our cake was absolutely gorgeous. We couldn't narrow the cake down to one flavor because there were so many great ones so we had 2 flavors in our cake. The guests could not stop talking about how amazing it was. They even wrote about it on our guestbook. :) Most people tried both flavors too because it was that delicious. We highly recommend Amy & the crew at Wow Factor. They will not disappoint.

I have to admit our wedding cake was not on top of the priority list. If I could go back I would quickly put it at the top using Wow Factor Cakes. Almost a year later our guest still rave about "it's the best cake they have ever had"! Amy was FANTASTIC to work with. She really wowed me and left me feeling guilty for not taking a cake more seriously! Our cake was almost too gorgeous to eat but even more delicious than it looked. My venue got the cakes from here so we went and met with them to design our wedding cake. I brought my picture into the shop, and WOW! They delivered the cake and it looked EXACTLY like the picture i took in that I wanted my cake to look like. Wonderful taste and just amazing quality! You definitely need to use this company if you want a beautiful wedding cake.
