About this vendor
Nestled in Montana’s Paradise Valley, Yellowstone Film Ranch is a one-of-a-kind, unforgettable setting for a unique and exclusive wedding or event.
Our functional western movie backlot, where many stars have graced over the years, is styled after a late 1800s gold rush town and set amongst the rolling hills and dramatic backdrop of Emigrant Peak. It’s a blissfully private and memorable locale to say “I do.”
Whether the bride and groom exchange vows in the church on the hill, set up an altar in the center of town, or get “hitched” in the saloon, this authentic movie town's awe-inspiring mountain views and distinctive romance will provide everlasting memories.
Your party can bunny-hop from one adventure to the next…
Have the groomsmen get ready in the western jail and sheriff’s office. The bride and her bridesmaids will love the elegant rooms above the saloon. Treat guests to pre-ceremony drinks and hors d'oeuvre in our grand saloon. Add a horse-drawn carriage to bring the bride into town. Set up live music on one of the epic balconies.
With its grand high-arched ceiling, the town hall is ideal for a reception. The possibilities for fun, adventure, and romance are infinite.
Whether it’s western-chic, country-rustic, Victorian-era vintage, or modern dress, YFR's epic natural scenery and authentic design provide an idyllic backdrop for bridal photography and a picture-perfect place to tie the knot.

We took a leap of faith choosing Yellowstone Film Ranch for our wedding, and it remains one of the best decisions we made! While the property had hosted many welcome parties, birth...
days, and other celebrations, we were their first full-scale wedding. The risk felt real at the beginning, but the owners quickly turned any hesitation into complete confidence. They were an absolute pleasure to work with from the very first conversation through the final moments of the night.
Their responsiveness and genuine care set them apart. They embodied everything you hope for in venue managers: thoughtful problem-solvers who stay calm under pressure, creative collaborators who protect the vision without ever overstepping, and warm hosts who make you feel like family rather than clients. Every detail was handled with quiet competence and real kindness.
They didn’t just open the gates to an incredible western town, they helped bring our day to life in ways we had only dreamed about! We used the church, the saloon, the town hall and every corner of the property became so memorable. What could have felt like a film set instead felt intimate, personal, and completely ours!
They also connected us with vendors who were a perfect fit. Every recommendation was thoughtful, and we adored working with each person they introduced us to. The result was a seamless, joyful collaboration that elevated the entire experience.
Our guests are still talking about it. and said it was one of the most unique wedding they've ever been to! If you’re looking for a venue that offers something truly special, paired with owners who will care for your day as if it were their own, we wholeheartedly recommend Yellowstone Film Ranch. We feel lucky to have been part of its beginning, and we can’t wait to see the many beautiful celebrations that follow :)
