We had a wonderful time with all of our wedding festivities at the Yorktowne Hotel. Angie was knowledgable, professional, and always put our minds at ease. The staff we interacted with, from the front desk to bartenders and servers, were friendly and helpful. It was wonderful to have the welcome party, rehearsal, ceremony, reception, and guestrooms all in one spot! I will highly recommend the Yorktowne to couples looking to get married in the York area.
Where do I even begin? The Yorktowne Hotel didn’t just host my wedding—they made it unforgettable. From the very first visit, when we were welcomed with champagne, I knew this was the place. Every detail, every moment, was handled with care and class.
As an event producer, I’ve worked with countless hotels, and let me tell you—it’s rare to find a team that goes above and beyond like this one. Angie, our event manager, was an absolute gem. Her professionalism, warmth, and attention to detail were unmatched. She and her team took charge in the best way possible—decorating, coordinating, and even offering thoughtful recommendations that elevated our day.
The hospitality was flawless from start to finish. The food was phenomenal (the chicken risotto, crab dip and the fried shrimp = chefs kiss), the rooms were stunning, and those showers and beds? Pure comfort. Every single staff member—from front desk to catering—was welcoming, kind, and clearly proud of the hotel and its service.
If you’re considering hosting an event—or just looking for a beautiful, well-run hotel—you need to experience Yorktowne. I’d recommend them a hundred times over.
