She has worked in many locations such as Frederick, Maryland; Hagerstown, Maryland; Gettysburg, Pennsylvania and most recently York, Pennsylvania. She has held the hand of many brides getting married to make sure their day is beautiful while adding her special touches to each event. with, from the front desk to bartenders and servers, were friendly and helpful. It was wonderful to have the welcome party, rehearsal, ceremony, reception, and guestrooms all in one spot! I will highly recommend the Yorktowne to couples looking to get married in the York area.

Where do I even begin? The Yorktowne Hotel didn’t just host my wedding—they made it unforgettable. From the very first visit, when we were welcomed with champagne, I knew this was ...

the place. Every detail, every moment, was handled with care and class. As an event producer, I’ve worked with countless hotels, and let me tell you—it’s rare to find a team that goes above and beyond like this one. Angie, our event manager, was an absolute gem. Her professionalism, warmth, and attention to detail were unmatched. She and her team took charge in the best way possible—decorating, coordinating, and even offering thoughtful recommendations that elevated our day. The hospitality was flawless from start to finish. The food was phenomenal (the chicken risotto, crab dip and the fried shrimp = chefs kiss), the rooms were stunning, and those showers and beds? Pure comfort. Every single staff member—from front desk to catering—was welcoming, kind, and clearly proud of the hotel and its service. If you’re considering hosting an event—or just looking for a beautiful, well-run hotel—you need to experience Yorktowne. I’d recommend them a hundred times over.

We could not have been happier with our wedding at The Yorktowne Hotel. The beautifully renovated historic hotel provided the perfect backdrop for the entire weekend. The spacious ...

rooms were a hit with all of our guests, and having everything in one place made the experience truly seamless — from the ceremony and cocktail hour to the reception, late-night after party in the rooftop lounge, and Sunday brunch. The location was ideal, with the hotel situated right in town so guests could easily stroll out for breakfast or lunch. The rooftop terrace bar was the perfect setting to kick off the weekend on Friday night with a warm summer breeze and gorgeous views. The ballroom itself was stunning — large windows, plenty of space for dancing, and easily accommodated our 154 guests. A huge thank you to our day-of planner, Angie Basilotto. From the very start of planning (over seven months) to the big day itself, Angie was professional, knowledgeable, always available, and absolutely committed to making every detail perfect. She was a true pleasure to work with. The entire staff — from front desk to servers, bartenders, and housekeeping — were friendly, attentive, and made our family, bridal party, and guests feel so well cared for. Choosing The Yorktowne allowed us to simplify the process of planning a wedding away from our home city of Baltimore. It offered our guests an easy-to-reach destination where they could stay in one place for the entire weekend. An added bonus: free parking in the garage all weekend long. We truly couldn’t recommend The Yorktowne Hotel more highly for a wedding or special event. If you’re considering it — go for it!

rfect for us. The woman who does their decorating absolutely nailed the decor of the entire venue, including our suites in the hotel. The food and drinks were fabulous and we had our fairytale wedding with no major issues or headaches. This is truly a hidden gem in York!
