We loved having The Young Picassos perform at our wedding! They played beautiful violin music during our prelude while guests were arriving, which helped in setting the tone and creating a warm vibe. Then for cocktail hour, they brought out a full band including a steel pan, and it was AMAZING. Our guests kept complimenting on how amazing they were all night! They were professional, talented, and soo easy to work with. Honestly, booking them was one of the best decisions we made for our big day. Highly recommend!

This is a passionate group of talented professionals whose aim is to spread their love for the culture and arts. If you're looking for a unique sound that creates a fantastic vibe while seamlessly blending genres, then The Young Picassos might be the right choice for you. Their music brings in a mix of styles from R&B, hip-hop, and pop to soca and neo-soul. The Young Picassos was brought together by co-founders Jevaun Grant and Pete Bathelus. Jevaun is a visionary who is always working towards inspiring growth and fresh ideas while fostering relationships throughout the community. He is the lead voice on steel pan, which he has been playing for the past 20 years. Pete's goal is to elicit passion, creativity, and joy from every song played. He's been playing piano for 15 years. If you're having an intimate gathering with your nearest and dearest, you may opt for a solo act, a duet, or even a three to five-piece band. For more grand celebrations, you might choose anywhere between a seven to an eleven-piece option. Add-on entertainment includes an aerialist, a poet, and LED armor. The Young Picassos is also available for other celebrations, such as proposals and engagement parties.

was absolutely beautiful. As a Trini, having live steel pan music was a must for me, and they delivered in every way. Their communication during the booking phase was clear, quick, and seamless, which made the entire process stress-free. The music had guests dancing and moving throughout the events, and the energy never dropped. They’re incredibly talented and definitely impressed our guests! Beyond their talent, they were professional, kind, and a pleasure to work with from start to finish. If you’re considering live music for a celebration, The Young Picassos are a must-book.
