Simply Amazing!
Erin and Jeff are the best, from the point when I first saw their work many many years ago before they became parents of two lovely boys and now my own wedding! I ...
can’t imagine my wedding without them!!! I am sooooooo grateful that they rode the crazy 2020 postponement journey together with us and acommodated all our last minute changes and still helped us deliver a dream wedding day.
Still remembered when we were first talking to Erin and Jeff about their vision of the wedding day and after almost two years, with a covid in between, they delivered 100 percent perfectly! Erin and Jeff helped me and my husband to embrace the moment for the first look with just the focus on us. The wind, the sound, the air and the emotion, everything was just perfect with their lead. And the pictures?!!! We cried again when we first saw the sneak peek!
I can’t be happier or more grateful that we had the Youngrens with us and created such a beautiful memory! Love you guys!!
From the first time I saw the Youngrens’ portfolio of work, I knew I wanted them to be our wedding photographers. Their artistic style was what I hoped our photos would reflect: ab...
undant light, effortless motion, flattering angles, and genuinely intimate moments. The secret to their gorgeous photos is their communication and candor. They were by our side throughout the big day, putting us at ease and cracking jokes, but then somehow disappearing and capturing a moment I thought no one witnessed. Nothing felt staged or awkward, every interaction was highly professional but also like we were hanging out with our best friends. As a result, there are so many beautiful pictures of our wedding day that it’s truly difficult to narrow down our favorites to even the top fifty! Our photos have been shared in countless bridal publications and even by other wedding vendors. The wedding day itself ends so quickly, but to have these photographs forever is the greatest gift.
Just WOW. My husband and I could not have been happier that we chose The Youngrens to capture our special day! The appreciation and love we have for this couple is unreal! They wer...
e so professional, respectful of what we wanted our day to look like and our requests for special photos, and they made it so much fun for us. They were just like a part of our family! Since we got married in the winter, we were worried about not having enough lighting for our outdoor portraits so they worked with us to make a Day After portrait session together and the pictures turned out amazing and we are so grateful. They always made us feel so special and we still chat with them a year later! If you want photographers who are fun yet professional, talented, exude joy, and make you feel like a rockstar, look no further; these two are gold.
From our first phone call with Jeff, we knew that the Youngrens would make our wedding special. Their attention to detail, calming presence, flawless execution, and professionalism...
showed throughout the wedding process from the rehearsal dinner to the finished photos. When hiring the Youngrens, you're not just hiring a wedding photographer - you're hiring a partner!
We can't wait for them to do future life event photography sessions!
Hiring the Youngrens was the BEST decision we have ever made!!
Not only do we have the most gloriously gorgeous photos of our wedding, but they also guided us in so many important...
aspects of our wedding, becoming our partners in making the day just what we wanted. They helped us choose an amazing team, gave us advice when we had questions about big decisions, and become friends along the way.
We had the most heartwarming wedding day ALL guided by The Youngrens!
Jeff and Erin were instrumental in helping us to set our intention of "being present" for what can be a busy and intense day that flies by. They helped us to carve out moments for us to be present and soak in what was happening.
Some of the most remarkable memories of the event were times they whisked us away to close our eyes and absorb the sounds of our loved ones talking, or stopped us and allowed us to contemplate the significance of what was happening.
First they helped us to be present for our wedding so that the photographs would "remind" us of our memories rather than having to "be" our memories of a day we missed in the hustle. Then they captured our joy and created a way for us to transport ourselves back to to those moments we so fully enjoyed.
We are deeply honored and grateful to have had them be a part of such a meaningful day.
They lent so much wisdom and guidance to us during our planning, and then added positivity, joy, and mindfulness to the day.
Everyone who sees our photos comments that they are the most amazing photos they have ever seen. We will ALWAYS be grateful to Jeff and Erin for the huge role they played on such an important day in our lives!
We discuss on a regular basis how happy we were that we hired The Youngrens as our wedding photographers. Our wedding pictures were beautiful and exactly what we wanted. Beyond tha...
t, what made Jeff and Erin so wonderful was their amazing, positive, calming presence on our wedding day. We had a difficult family dynamic that they dealt with very delicately and skillfully. It was a joy to have them around. They also have incredible client relations. When talking to us months before our wedding, they got out of us and remembered which hotel we were staying in on an upcoming trip to Japan. When we arrived at the hotel, they had delivered chocolates and a card to the room! Hire them and don't look back!
Jeff and Erin Youngren don't just take great pictures and put together an amazing wedding album - they do those things. What makes this couple so special is that they put so much o...
f themselves into your wedding day - they bring passion and emotion to the day unlike any photographers we've ever met.
The result is that you are so comfortable with them, they make you feel at ease. They encourage you to take in every minute of your wedding day and experience it in real time - let them worry about capturing the special moments for later reflection. That they are a couple is critical to their success in this area - it's as if they're looking at your wedding through the lens of their own and they care for yours as much as they did theirs.
Technically, they're terrific. Their photography was outstanding - a great combination of close-up, intimate photos, landscape photography and images that capture the overall scene. They're also inclusive - they seek out the wallflower to make sure almost every person is in your album. The album process is seamless - they take the first stab and then have a digital platform that allows you to easily suggest swaps.
We also asked them to hire a 3rd photographer who was asked to take photos of everyone, but us, so we were able to get photos of our guests on the periphery. Not absolutely necessary, but we highly recommend it.
Net, if you have the opportunity to work with Erin and Jeff, please take it. You will not find two people not in your family who will care more about your wedding than this couple and that's just about the best way to get amazing photography from your special day.
We hired The Youngrens immediately after looking through their portfolio and blog online (theyoungrens.com). The first time we worked with them was for engagement photos a month an...
d a half before our wedding. My fiance and I are not accustomed to being in front of the camera--and especially not while publicly displaying our affection to all of Balboa Park! The Youngrens made us feel so comfortable and natural in front of the camera. They gave us great direction, but let us be ourselves. They captured our love so perfectly!
Photographers are expensive nowadays. There is no way around that if you want professional pictures taken (which I would HIGHLY recommend). The Youngrens are a husband and wife team, so we had two amazingly talented photographers shooting our whole wedding. This was great because there was not only more manpower to capture each and every special moment, but we also got two very unique perspectives, which added to the variety of the pictures we got.
We just had the photos from both our wedding and engagement released and they are unbelievably breathtaking! I would recommend The Youngrens to everyone. They are very professional, but warm; focused, but funny; and make you feel like a true friend.
The Youngrens shot our wedding in September and they were fantastic! They were a dream to work with from day 1 and our pictures are beautiful. I would recommend them to anyone!
I used The Youngrens after seeing the photos they did for my best friend's wedding. She got married in LA and did a lot of research before picking them. Erin and Jeff are a husband...
and wife team that only shoots weddings. They are incredibly talented and in addition are absolutely wonderful to work with.
You will LOVE your wedding photos and will look at them over and over. The best way to describe their photos is light filled and happy. Exactly what you want for your wedding photos.
I addition to being my wedding photographers, I now consider Erin and Jeff my friends!
They send their couples fun surprises in the mail (yay for presents!) and are incredibly responsive and professional. If I could give them 10 stars I would!
