I cannot recommend the Youngs enough. First of all, their photos are truly art. I'm so happy that the photos from my wedding day are timeless and stunning. They make me smile every...
time I look at them. Second, as someone who doesn't usually like having her photo taken, the Youngs made me feel comfortable and confident. I really can't recommend them more, and the investment was so worth it!
The Youngs are the best of the best! Our wedding day was flawless and so much of that had to do with Veronica and Alex! They not only kept us on schedule and allowed us to capture ...
every single photo we wanted, but they are also such a great time AND a calming presence to be around! And their work speaks for itself - I've never seen a more talented wedding photo/video team! They captured us perfectly and in the most unique, creative ways. Their additional team members were also so kind, talented and professional. If I could go back in time and do it all again, I'd book The Youngs a million times over! Meeting with them and getting to know them before the wedding day was also such a benefit. They're infinitely gifted and just awesome people. Best vendor decision ever!
I absolutely loved working with the incredibly talented team of Veronica and Alex and they were absolutely one of the BEST decisions we could have made in the whole wedding planni...
ng process. They were extremely organized, professional, and timely. Veronica made planning the wedding timeline so easy and she was so focused on all the details as well. Veronica would have done anything to get us a cool shot- she was even willing to brave horizontal rain and possible tornado to get us an amazing shot! I also got several comments from the bridal party that she was so helpful in giving us direction on how to pose, smile, or where to look. I feel like the day ran so smoothly thanks to our awesome vendors, including the Youngs. I should also mention that my bridesmaids had a really hard time with the bustle on my dress, and Veronica saved the day with that as well. She was so much more than a photographer that day and was willing to help wherever needed. Truly don’t think I could ever thank them enough. I would absolutely hire them again for just about anything. Save yourself so many wedding planning headaches and hire the Youngs to do your photos!
The Youngs were absolutely amazing! They captured our June wedding perfectly! Our video and pictures are beautifully designed and they didn’t miss a moment of our special day! One ...
of the things I loved about them is they made posing for pictures effortless and fun - we didn’t have to overthink anything! The quality of our pictures and video can’t be beat - I love how crisp and vidid the colors turned out in the photos. Additionally, Veronica and Alex always made us feel so comfortable and we always knew we were in good hands! Book them for your wedding!!!
My husband and I got married on 11/6/2021. I’m in tears typing this because we are so in love with what they did for us! Of everyone we worked with the The Youngs, and their team...
, were our absolute favorite people on this journey. From the engagement session to the day of the wedding, it was perfection. Veronica and Alex are so warm and personable. They made us feel so relaxed and safe. They are truly the best, and their work exceeded our expectations! We will be forever grateful!

d, creative and so easy to work with. I am literally obsessed with all of our photo and video...it's just so good! From the engagement session to the reveal party, these two made the process so much fun!

ched out to her, all the way to getting our pictures back after the wedding. She is not only professional, prompt, reliable and incredibly organized, but she is an AMAZING photographer and incredible human. She made us feel comfortable and taken care of throughout the process, wether it was during pictures or planning details. She even stayed an extra hour to take pictures at our reception because our dinner was an hour behind schedule. We also had the privilege of having her husband Alex as our second photographer, who is awesome, and together they were the BEST! We could not recommend The Youngs more.
We cannot recommend Veronica enough. From meeting her over a year ago to book her for our wedding day, to having engagement photos taken, planning all the details, and the big day,...
Veronica went above and beyond to make us feel calm, comfortable, and completely confident. We don't even have our wedding photos back yet (only got married 2 and a half weeks ago) and I already know how amazing they're going to be based on the sneak peek she gave us the day after we got married. Veronica is hands down the most approachable and kindest person we've ever met and we were so fortunate to have her not only capture our special day, but celebrate with us. We feel like we've known her for forever! I cannot say enough wonderful things about her and wish we could do this all over again. I can't wait to see what our photos look like! Veronica, thank you so much for all of your hard work and for making Sean and I feel so supported and loved. We will be recommending you to everyone. Thank you doesn't seem like enough to tell you how grateful we are for your work, and most importantly, you. You're the best and we love you! And special shoutout to Candace for assisting you that day, tell her we said thank you so much!

e decided I hated my engagement pictures and wanted to find a new photographer. They made us feel so comfortable during the engagement session, wedding and every meeting or conversation we had. I am so in love with our pictures that I currently cannot cut them down to even had them to Facebook. I was extremely thankful that throughout the wedding day Veronica continued to check in and ensure she got all of the shoots I was wanting. She listened to what I wanted and captured it. They captured my husband and I’s personalities so well in our pictures and I will forever be greatful for their work. If you are looking for a great team who will truly make you feel amazing, look no further.

usiness, but they are so incredibly kind, down-to-earth, and two of the friendliest people I've met (truly!). It's clear that they are so passionate about their work, and about making you shine through it. I've always been fairly self-conscious in front of the camera, but Veronica and Alex guided us and hyped us up throughout the entire process, so that we were just getting to enjoy the process and genuinely have fun with it. Literally, we felt like movie stars. And throughout the COVID madness, they were so flexible, kind, compassionate, and accommodating. They drove to capture our intimate wedding ceremony with just our parents and siblings this past June, and we are so excited to work again with them in June 2021 to capture our rescheduled reception. I don't have enough kind things to say about them. Thank you, Veronica & Alex!!

e we have ever met. My husband and I felt so comfortable around them. We don’t feel like we are normally very photogenic people, but Veronica and Alex knew what they were doing and captured some very natural and genuine shots of our day. You can tell that they are a husband & wife team, as they work together so well! We have received so many compliments from our guests not only on their work, but on their professionalism and kindness. They are the best and I would HIGHLY recommend them!

ched out multiple times to offer advise and check-in prior to the big day. Day of, I couldn’t have asked for a more respectful and attentive team. Plus they were a lot of fun and the photos turned out GORGEOUS! Definitely will be reaching out again for any future photography needs.

t it to be so awesome to rewatch. It’s just how I remember it. They danced with us at my wedding, just relaxed comfortable people. The crew who came for me was just outstanding. They also drove 2 hours north to accommodate me.
Veronica photographed our wedding last year and we just looked back again on all our photos on our first anniversary. She captured so many beautiful memories of our day and helped ...
everything go off without a hitch. When the power went out at our reception, she sprung into action to organize everything and then took some BREATHTAKING photos of our first dance illuminated by phone lights and it is seriously my favorite moment / photos that we have. Couldn’t have been more perfect and I’m so glad she stepped in so we didn’t just skip the dance! She is amazing and so so wonderful and I couldn’t praise her enough.

pictures/video. It was also great to have the photographer/videographer as a husband/wife team, as it made communication so easy. We are so happy that we were able to have them on our special day! I highly recommend them to any couple.

wedding. My husband and I were so nervous for our engagement session but when we got to the shoot Veronica immediately made us feel comfortable. We didn’t know we would have this much fun during a shoot! We knew we had made the right decision. Veronica was very communicative up until the time of our wedding, especially since we were planning our wedding during Covid. She was there every step of the way and made sure we knew that she would be there no matter what. The day of our wedding Veronica and Alex did everything as planned and even went with the flow when we decided we were going to add in a few things that weren’t on our agenda. Every shot Veronica got she made me feel like I was the only person in the room and made me feel like I was a model. All of our bridal party and guests were even commenting on how Veronica was there for every second of every special moment that we had. It truly made the experience of being a Covid bride so much more relaxing knowing that I had Veronica taking my pictures. I seriously love this girl (and Alex :)) so much and I am so thankful for the moments she captured. I will cherish these pictures and moments forever. Thank you Veronica!!!

ok and immediately falling in love (and tossing our budget out the window {well worth it!}). I showed my husband their work and he could see my eyes light up and agreed that they were perfect for us. I messaged them that night.
It’s easy to see the talent that Veronica and Alex have with a quick glimpse at their work. I loved how natural and effortless their shots look, never posed or stiff. I believe that demonstrates their skill level, but also how comfortable their clients feel when shooting. After our wedding my husband and I both described how the day felt like hanging out with friends.. who happened to be great at photography. We were gushing about how wonderful they were for at least a week after the wedding. Even our wedding party and guests made comments regarding “how great our photographers were”. Everyone was amazed at their ability to direct, efficiency, and seamless flow. Alex and Veronica have so much passion for their work and it shines through in everything they produce. After your wedding day you never want to feel regret regarding your vendors, especially with something as important as photos and film! We feel very lucky that they could be there for our special day and could not be happier with our decision. When you know, you know!

ecial day did not have to be anything less than what we planned. Both are extremely knowledgeable, professional, timely with responses, and SO encouraging (Veronica made me feel like a celebrity with her "YES!" "Gorgeous!" and "You're going to love this" style)! We will use them for the rest of our lives, even when we're old, gray, and need photographs from our 65th wedding anniversary :)

ys have that reassurance in yourself. Honestly, you'll be spending A LOT of time with some of your vendors on your wedding day. Why not choose someone you vibe well with, and you actually want to be around? My husband and I felt that with the Youngs for every second we spent together. I cannot recommend them enough. ❤❤

tic! She was very easy to work with and we clicked with her the first time we met her. We took engagement photos with her the year before which was nice so we were able to get to know her. She also let us bring our dogs and we got some adorable photos! We met again the month before the wedding and she helped with the day of timeline which was super helpful. Her pricing is fair and in-line with the other photographers in the area that perform at her level of quality. She was super relaxed the day of and was great to work with. My husband hates photos but she was able to find ways to make him more comfortable which then made me laugh. We have some really great candid photos! We have gotten so many compliments on how beautiful our photos turned out. She is so worth it and I am so glad we chose her and will have these beautiful photos for life!

eo was hands down one of the best decisions I made when planning my wedding. She is experienced, personable, and professional. Veronica went above and beyond on my wedding day to have my back and that experience alone would have me recommending her over and over again, but the quality of photos and videos she and Alex produced went far beyond expectations! Coming from two notoriously awkward and unphotogenic people who decided to get married— book Veronica for photo, video, and whatever else you can... I can promise without a doubt she won’t disappoint!

y--they both are so kind and fun to work with! We bonded right away with the love of our fur babies :) Veronica's Bridal Facebook Group was really nice to prepare for wedding day with other past/present brides.
Veronica and Alex made us feel comfortable, and took a nice balance of natural, traditional and really creative shots/scenes.
We would definitely book with Veronica Young Photography again!

ommunicate with. She gave great suggestions when needed, but also was open to taking direction with any “bridal” visions I had. She knows how weddings work, and she will be perfectly in the background on your big day to ensure everything goes smoothly. She genuinely loves her job and weddings. She made me and my husband feel completely comfortable taking pictures that you aren’t use to taking. Both our engagement session pictures and wedding photos turned out better than I ever expected. I want to frame them all over my house and hand them out to strangers. Her photos are now one of my most prized possessions. No doubt she will capture every moment. So do not hesitate booking Veronica. She is patient, kind, and will have your back (even when you don’t notice) on your wedding journey.

iend. She responded to any of my communication almost immediately and I could tell she genuinely loves what she does and cares for her clients. After getting our engagement pictures done with her- I knew we had made the right decision. She made us feel so comfortable and complemented us the entire time. We had so much fun and the pictures came back amazing! As the wedding approached, Veronica was super organized and helped me to map out the entire day (as a Type A bride, I loved this!). On the actual day, she kept things fun, running smoothly and on time. She knew when to take charge, join in the fun, or be a quiet observer. She went above and beyond to help- including keeping all our food coolers in her own car since we could not bring them on the party bus! We loved her and are excitedly awaiting our photos from the wedding day!!

our wedding day. She makes you feel so comfortable and she provides clear direction on what she wants. She is so efficient with her time and was able to make a clear timeline for our wedding day. We were able to enjoy part of our cocktail hour thanks to her! The wedding day photos felt so easy and effortless because of Veronica. She knew our vision and she was able to execute that vision flawlessly. I can say with complete confidence that I would HIGHLY recommend Veronica to all brides!

entire planning process, Veronica was communicative, kind, organized, and helped to put me at ease during the stressful final weeks leading up to the wedding. On the day of the wedding, she arrived early and didn’t waste any time before she jumped right in to start capturing gorgeous photos. She was so wonderful and comfortable to work with, and our entire wedding party and both of our families felt the same way. I would recommend Veronica to any couple that is looking for a wedding photographer!

my wedding day would be only what brides dream of! I then found out her husband, Alex Young, was a videographer and captures weddings as well. She posted sneak peeks of other bride’s videos on her Veronica Young Photography page and I knew I would regret it if I did not have that as well! I cannot stress enough about how wonderful both Veronica and Alex were the entire planning process and on my wedding day. We even had a meet up at a coffee shop and reviewed what photos we wanted. Veronica created a timeline for me that made me feel 100% more organized. I can never thank Veronica and Alex for capturing my wedding day. I will look back on these gorgeous photos and videos for a lifetime! Thanks Y’all! ❤️

fter our engagement shoot. The shoot went so smoothly and the images she captured were breathtaking. Then came the wedding. She made the entire day feel like a breeze. She put Mike and me at ease, captured stunning shots and always made sure I was doing okay and that my bustle was secured. I am so fortunate to have had her as our wedding photographer and genuinely sad it's all over. She is amazing and I will continue to recommend this amazing lady until I'm blue in the face. Thank you for everything, Veronica!

I got engaged. Veronica did our engagement photos and they turned out amazing! She is so easy to work with and got our photos back very quickly. She even hiked with us to get to a special spot for some of our photos. I am so excited to see how our wedding photos turn out in a few short months, and we even booked her for videography! Wonderful photographer to work with.
UPDATE: Low and behold, Veronica exceeded our expectations for the big day. We hired her for photography and videography (her husband does the video) and they were literally the dream team. I can't tell you how many compliments I received about how well they were working together to get the perfect shots, angles, etc. from family and wedding guests. So many people have made comments to me asking to see the final products because they could tell how well the photographer and videographer were doing. Veronica and her team worked together so well and were helpful with anything and everything that popped up. It was truly the best decision we made to hire Veronica for photography and videography.

st wonderful memories that we will treasure for years to come! They not only had incredible attention to detail but were also so creative in capturing the story of the most special day of our lives- and made the whole process seemingly effortless for us! The entire team was so fun and easy to work with and truly went above + beyond to ensure our day was wonderful- and even more so, that we had the most special moments to look back on. Look no further- I would highly recommend this sweet crew to anyone + everyone! Thank you Veronica, David + Alex, we feel so blessed to have had you as a part of our day!

dding weekend included a foot of snow, so I was worried about vendors not showing up. Veronica and her husband drove *eight hours* to ensure they would be there! Nothing better than some peace of mind for the bride!
We recently just got our wedding photos back and I am literally obsessed. We are in the position where we are having a very hard time narrowing down which ones to print- a good problem to have.
I would recommend Veronica Young Photography to anyone in the St Louis area and beyond.

she was so easy going and had a wonderful personality as well. When planning a time to scheduele our engagement photos, she was very accommodating as we had to reschedule multiple times due to weather. She was so quick to respond to texts and calls about anything! My husband and I have a height difference making it difficult to get some photos I wanted. Veronica had the best ideas on how to get those photos. She even brought me a step stool on my wedding day! When she photographed our wedding, she was assertive with our group in capturing the photos we requested but fun as well. She captured all of the photos exactly where I wanted them even outside in the freezing cold. Veronica is so personable and loving and someone my husband and I are so happy we chose to photograph our engagement session and wedding.

romptly, she is also so sweet and kind! She made my husband and I very at ease during our engagement pictures and picked a beautiful location to take them. On our wedding day Veronica and her assistant arrived early and captured everything that we wanted. There was also a very quick turnaround between our wedding (12/7) and getting the pictures (1/9), which was lovely. The photographs are absolutely breathtaking. Every. Single. One. Honestly, choosing Veronica as our photographer was one of the best decisions that we made for our wedding. We have so many beautiful pictures to remember our day.

We are so thankful for the opportunity to work with her and hope you get a chance to do the same!

. If you’re looking for beautiful photography and videography from someone you can trust...you’ve come to the right place 😊
Even before we had our engagement session Veronica made us feel at ease. She is so warm, kind, and truly cares about your wedding. My husband is not a fan of being in photos, but Veronica has this special ability to make him comfortable enough to even SMILE. That’s huge! I cannot thank her enough 💕
And then there’s Alex...the coolest videographer around. I’ve never seen someone move around so much just to make sure he get the perfect shot. He works his tail off to ensure your video is magical. He’s fantastic & I encourage everyone to have video of your wedding!
With that said...I encourage everyone to use Veronica Young Photography for all their wedding needs. I can promise you won’t be the slightest bit disappointed that you did!

and full of our personalities. Veronica cuts out that awkward stranger feeling you get when meeting vendors for the first time and immediately makes you feel as though you're hiring your friend to capture one of the best days of your life. Day of the wedding she makes sure you get every picture you could ever want or dream of. Honestly, I can't even express how truly grateful I am that we had Veronica as our photographer. and gorgeous photographic eye she beat out lots of other photographers and was enough reason for me to book her. But what you don't fully realize until you meet her, is how wonderful of a personality she has on top of her skill. I feared my fiance would be camera shy but she is the sweetest and just made us feel so at ease at our engagement session. We knew then without a doubt we'd made the right choice. She is very attentive and supportive to her brides for even non-photo related questions (we can even turn to each other for questions) from the start to finish. But then come the wedding day she went above and beyond even MORE. For example, none of my guests had grabbed a ribbon wand for the ceremony exit. Though I immediately noticed and was disappointed I wasn't going to worry about it, however Veronica immediately suggested passing them out and walking through again. She jumped into action so guests hadn't left their seats and we did a take 2 and those photos turned out awesome! I'm so thankful for that and for all the little ways she helped make our day go smoother. She is seriously awesome, book her.

supportive of her brides and even has a Facebook support group for her brides to share ideas and questions with each other!
Veronica made my husband and I feel very comfortable taking photos together during both our engagement and wedding day sessions (which is saying a lot because my husband despises taking photos!) She made it fun and all the poses she came up with felt natural and turned out beautifully! Our wedding day was very hot and humid for May, and Veronica even came prepared with cute battery powered fans and towels for when we got sweaty. She moved the day right along in an efficient manner while also making things fun for the bridal party!
Most importantly, Veronica’s passion for what she does shines through in every photo she takes and through the way she cares for her couples. Her photos have a beautiful, light, and dreamy quality to them that stands out from other photographers in the STL area. I know that we will cherish our photos for the rest of our lives, and it’s all thanks to Veronica!
