ely helpful and respectful throughout everything after she became our coordinator! The chef was absolutely excellent and we were always treated very nicely by the staff. We did have a few senses of upset though. From the beginning we were told the staff would be setting up decorations the night before the wedding, but when we got there for the rehearsal, noone was there so we and our family had to rush to set up everything before our rehearsal dinner, causing us to have to finish some setup in the morning...which stressed me out as a bride because I was not expecting that. The food was so good, but the side was not the one we asked for after having to only choose one due to a smaller wedding because of covid. After the ceremony, the new GM was nice to us, but I heard from multiple family members that he was rude to them and made snippy comments about them just giving feedback to make sure our day was perfect and how we wanted it. He also stood in on our bridal pictures and kept telling us/our photographer we needed to wrap it up because we were making our guests wait so long for us... we were 5 minutes off schedule and our family understood. The GM very much upset me and my husband, due to us not being able to get all our bridal pictures finished and him being rude to our family. I didn't appreciate him standing behind my husband while the photographer was trying to take a picture of him.. We were also told we could clean up the day after the wedding and the staff would leave everything for us to pick up on a table, but for some reason during the wedding, we were told we had to clean up everything and be out the same night. We loved our wedding and had a wonderful time and everything worked lut!! But the few things that did happen left us a little upset given things changed last minute. Hopefully with the new staff in, they can be more organized and hopefully the GM will understand to not be hovering and rude while the bride and groom are finishing their bridal pictures on the most special day of their lives.
